It's because /fit/ is one of the four gateway boards to 4chan. Redditors flock to /fit/ and have no clue how to be a part of the board culture because they're fucking retarded and don't take the time to lurk. It's been like this for the past four years at least. They don't have their joke or sarcasm indicators so they take everything 100% seriously. Even if they do understand that it's a joke, the only thing they'll contribute is a "This." or an "Underrated post." because they can't click their upvote button but need the world to know about their opinion.

To top it off everyone is incredibly self-righteous and arrogant because they read the sticky and all of the sudden have a lot more knowledge than they did before. They think it's the end all, be all of fitness knowledge and so they try to preach and instruct others when, in fact, they know the barest minimum and should shut the fuck up. The most outspoken posters happen to be the ones that have the most shallow knowledge about the subject. /fit/ has always been hot garbage, but at least it used to have its moments. Nu-/fit/ is just bullshit and circlejerking 100% of the time.

Why cant I do a fucking squat!?!!?!?!?

I swear I tried and tried and tried for over and hour and I just can't do a squat with proper form.

I've been what I guess you can call fit for a while before, people used to often comment on my body but now after all the fast food and alcohol I've gotten a bit overweight but not nearly to the point thats I shouldn't be able to to a damn squat but fuck I've been trying over an hour and just can't, damn.

Please help, this is definitely a low point

I hate myself. I hate how weak I am, I hate how I look, I hate my own personality, I hate my own vices, and I hate my work ethic. I have decided to change that. I know it's fucking autistic, but I am going to keep going to the gym every day like I have been, keep reading, keep listening to music, and I'm going to be as nice as I possibly can to everyone.

If it doesn't work in the next two years, I'm finally blowing my brains out. I've pussyfooted around it my entire life and it's time I finally got it right. I'm going to give it one last effort and at least do some good for the world before I die. Even if I never find happiness, maybe I can help someone else.

Most of the things on your list are irrelevant. Height, dick size etc.
Work on the things you can change. Going to the gym will help you lose weight and gain muscle.
Start a training course or look for jobs. One thing at a time will eventually get you to where you want to be.

75 percent of this board are probably ugly as fuck, but at least 25 percent are attractive as hell, judging from the facial aesthetics thread.
