Reminder, there are probably a half-dozen different versions of TM in PPST3RD which bench press heavy twice a week (instead of alternating bench/overhead every session), but nobody seems to know about them, because nobody seems to actually READ the book, they just go by the meme versions or the first TM layout provided. All of these are really really good and will defeat the "farewell to arms" and "bad for bench" memes if you actually do them.

Reason is limited time budget. Plus I like deadlifts, I don't care for squats and it is common knowledge that higher frequency and higher specificity help with progress. I don't think neglecting your squats is a sin, many powerlifters neglect their OHP and there is literally nothing wrong with that.

What would happen if one were to do this routine?

Weighted chinups 5rm
DL 5x5 @75% (not 85% because recovery would be a bitch)
Bench 5x5 @85%
>Wednesday
Sumo DL 3x5 @60%
OHP 3x5 @85% (higher because I don't see it interfering with bench that much)

Bench 5rm
Weighted chinups 5x5@85%

Alternate everything (so you'd go for 5rm on Sumo, OHP and Rows)
Would I get good legs along everything else?

I'm around 320 pounds, 5'9. I haven't exercised in years and all I do is sleep all day. So I'm pretty much never on my feet.

I recently got a treadmill and want to start walking but when should I start jogging? I don't think my knees, feet, ankles whatever can handle jogging. I don't have bad knees or anything.

I also have started eating healthy.
