How do I make dumplings stay round?
This is my first time making them. I also want to stuff them with meat the next time I try to make them, and I'm worried they'll bust apart into formless mush
where are my (you)'s
>>9414913
Maybe you could Bing it
Has anyone tried it? Is it legal? some dude on this board told me to try it instead of alcohol.
bippity boppity bump.

It's a non psychoactive bitter tasting oil. The threshold for CBD is so high youd have to consume a lot to get any effect. The effects are a very very mild pain relief and hypnotic (cause drowsiness) , might as well just take an advil, benadryl, or diphenhydramine. It's just a meme stoner 420 blaze it fags fall into because of the hemp keyword
Doesn't matter what time it is, if it's breakfast to you, post that shit.

Homeless person eggs
Dude those eggs are just miserable...
>>9414061
Okay I know I overdid the eggs and bacon here but I already drank one of those and I was in a hurry. Hungry mang.
Should I get a Wüsthof Classic Ikon or a Japanese chef knife?
Pic related. What I'm using now. OK for the price but want something better.
for it, it's the $70 Tojiro, the best chef's knife
Japanese steel>German.
Plus...
Fuck a German handle.
Lunch thread
I fucking love you. Sheetz ftw!
I got a lunch menu Chicken with Broccoli coming from my local Chinese restaurant. It's being delivered by my wife on her way back from Kroger's. I wish she'd hurry the fuck up, I'm starving.
How should I make burger patties? I've never made them for BBQ before.
>>9413348
>for BBQ
you mean grilling?
>>9413348
Lil salt n pepper before hitting the grill. People don't expect it to be cooked like a steak, as long as they're not raw or hockey pucks you're good.
>>9413348
Good patty? Go to your supermarket and see if they have different grades of ground beef. Go for the one with as close a ratio to 20% fat/80% beef. Mix in some salt and pepper then shape the patties. Dont make them too thick or squash them densely. Pucks the size of a medium-sized condiment jar lid works.
Well Done is what is expected of a patty, but just make sure it's not bleeding and you'll be fine. Some grease will seep so just don't mistake the grease for blood.
Didn't see one around so lets have a whisky thread!
Post your favorite bottles and some rare shit you've tried.
Pic related had this shit in February and it was oishii as fuck.

How smoky was it?
Got this. Is it good ? i don't really know porto...
>>9412999
It was actually pretty delicate, the peat mixed well with the fruity, floral and nutty flavours really well. If you get a chance to try an older Port Ellen I definitely recommend it.
Hey /ck/
What's your favorite hot sauce? I just found pic related and it's an awesome flavor to heat mix. Been eating it on everything.
nice try aardvark
>>9412975
Yeah shill harder but I will bite. It's decent but more of a condiment like ketchup. Not nearly enough heat
>>9412975
>heat
But what hot sauce does your husband like?
>fast food is bad for you
When will this meme die?
>>9412531
>those mcdonalds hamburgers are a great deal, lots of protein just take off the buns
-Rippletits
>>9412531
>all fast food is bad for you
Retard.
Just fried some flat eggs with melted cheddar and a splash of Worcestershire sauce (from a bottle mixed with ~0.5 ounce 1M Scoville liquid pepper extract).
Can't really taste the fish sauce, the heat totally obscures the subtle flavor. The heat is mild but lingers on the palate and I've got a perfect scalp sweat going. How else can I use obscenely hot extract?
Pepper / spicy general?
>>9412292
>fish sauce
>subtle
Made a stir fry using some thai chili peppers, was pretty good. Not that hot.
The only way to use extract sauce is as an additive to your own condiments which are very spicy ie I made garlic ginger onion relish and added a teaspoon of extract to the jar
Anything not flavorful enough to hide the extract will taste like ass because extract tastes like ass
>try to make doughnuts
>can't make the dough, won't get dry and stays sticky
>start frying a piece
>instantly turns black and smokes
>throw dough away
>>9412262
Sounds like you should just give up and go buy a for me
>>9412262
What kind of doughnuts were you trying to make? Yeast or Cake?
Cookware
>Bed bath and beyond affordability
Jesus Christ they might as well have put the price tags on them all. Go to a thrift shop, get a thick frying pan, and that's half the battle. Get a decent pot and saucier too and you've got a good array of multitaskers.
Why do people buy cookware with rivets (or worse, screws) instead of welds? You need like three rivets to get any decent longevity out of a pan. It's also harder to clean and can get in the way of say, a Spanish omelette. Plastic handles are whole other level of retarded consumer.
>>9411876
poorfag detected. bed bath & beyond isn't williams sonoma, they have sales often and not the bullshit 5% off willians-sonoma kind. you'd know this if you ever went inside. there's also the internet where... you know what I'm not going to give you my secrets because I don't think you deserve it. but paying full retail for high end cookware is for lazy, ignorant suckers
thrift shop cookware is almost always terrible, and it's not worth the inconvenience for the rare occasions that there's a piece that isn't a complete embarrassment
How do they make this shit so sweet when the nutrition says there's no sugar in it? "Natural flavors"? I made some myself with about the same ingredients and it tasted kinda bland with the taste of tomato and water with some spice. Should I use more garlic and salt?
use more peppers and hotter peppers
kind of off topic but its bullshit that the FDA lets companies list "natural flavors" without specifying what that is, it could be anything and that's sketchy
Mrs Renfros ghost pepper salsa is the best I've ever had, I think adding something that makes the salsa cling to itself is a really good texture addition.
Always use more garlic (fresh!), and salt. For best results let it sit in the fridge overnight and let the flavors mingle.
>>9411229
>For best results let it sit in the fridge overnight and let the flavors mingle.
Seems to be the case for most things. I'll try that next time.
Thinking about trying this place is it any good?
>>9410974
It's ok. I prefer in n out. Cheaper and juicier and I don't need lots of different toppings for my burger
Honestly it's pretty good. I'm kind of tired of In-N-Out as I have one down the street. The Habit is quality, if you get the normal cheeseburger, you'll wish you had two, they're kinda small. What I didn't like was the very large bacon burger with grilled bread, it was a bit too much and over the top. Stick to their basic cheeseburgers. (IMO)
>>9410974
Why not just try it and find out for yourself?
