Come on guys
Hey /x/, I've been having a hard time trying to find a list of mythical creatures of the american south.
I mean, there's plenty of sites on the skunk ape, the Rougarou, and other larger creatures; but, I'm looking for things similar to the jackalope or a chupacabra. Voodoo inspired is a plus, but not necessary.
whether you post creatures, stories or steer me to the right websites, much appreciated.
thanks in advance, /x/!

So is there any evidence to suggest this is real?

No, but it's better to be safe than sorry.
Jets exist.
How do I know?
I've been on one.

Nuh uh
Pretty drunk rn and decided why fucking not, I'm here to do palm readings for free as long as this thread goes on. Post your palm, your age, and your gender.
I'm drunk af myself. Prove to me palm readings are legit and I will post my palm.
I'm sober, but fuck it. 29M
>>17922288
Well since I'm in my drunken state after drinking myself a 5th of hennessy I'll try my best.
I can't really prove it to be honest, but I can tell you some stories I guess? It's your choice if you wanna believe or not.
I've been reading palms for awhile now and there was once a fine line between me just sometimes guessing and me sometimes actually knowing it. My uncle wanted me to read his palm and the road he was down wasn't nowhere near North, it was straight South.
He has heart disease or had and would drink, but I predicted that he would take a very unfortunate turn soon, very soon in life that he wouldn't be able to turn back from. Five nights later he died in his sleep from a heart attack.
Thoughts anon?

Book's fun and a pretty good read, if you want to just sit down and remember nature as a concept.

New Bigfoot thread
continuation of >>17899885
Anyone got any theories on a Bigfoot diet that could support a creature of his size? Similar to a Brown Bear's is my guess but how would that suit a primate?
>>17917825
It depends, since descriptions of Bigfoot behavior vary wildly based on who's making them up.
large mammal diets vary greatly amongst region, but small rodents, roots of some plants, etc. but projections do show a large ape population could live in the Pacific Northwest
>>17917852
But bigfoot sightings aren't isolated to the Pacific Northwest, are they?

Why? Are you just looking for a sense of belonging? Your reasons for joining and the ideology you're looking for will go a long way toward determining the direction of this thread.

This anon has never worn a fine suit.
Curious on what /x/ thinks is the worst way to die. I'm thinking something uneventful and long, such as trapped in a room waiting to starve or getting lost in space.

Lost in space would suck but still be kinda cool.
Being killed the way Junko Furuta was would suck.
Or being buried alive.
It wouldn't necessarily be painful, but being executed for a crime you didn't commit would be awful. Imagine the days leading up to it, knowing you're innocent but still gonna die.

pls x explain pic related
around 28 years ago, my grandmother got me a music box as a gift. it has a bear ice skating and plays what I can only call a melancholy tune. I don't dare to touch the music box because of what happens every time I do
for a long time the music box was stored in a closet, but when I moved away for college my mother insisted that I take the music box with me to remind me of my family back home. I did, and placed it in a private part of my dorm room. a few days later, I found out that one of my uncles had died. I didn't really like him, so it wasn't that big of a deal.
when I moved back home for the summer, I had to bring the music box back with me. again, a few days later, another relative died, a great aunt. I began to suspect there was connection to the music box. I wound it up and let it play for a while. again, a few days later, someone else died, this time a cousin of mine around my age. I decided I would leave the box at home for the remainder of college.
after I graduated, my mom insisted I take the music box with me when I moved out and got a job in another state. I was hesitant to do so, but gave in. I left it packed up for a few months, but thinking I was being silly, decided to unpack it around Christmas. a few days later, I got a call that my grandmother had died (the one that gave me the box). I resolved to never touch the box again.
it has sat on my bookcase, untouched, not even to be dusted, for years. however, two years ago, the music box went off by itself for a few seconds. like clockwork, a few days later, my mother called. my grandfather had died.
this is a picture of the damn thing. is there anything I can do to placate it, or should I destroy it?

Your mother knows more than she lets on. She is fully aware of the anomalous properties of the music box and is using you to kill people. Destroy the box.
