None. As much as Styx talks about the occult, in recent years he's been getting a little erratic. The majority of his books are just reworks or interpretations of other occult works. His Grimorium Verum for instance is actually pretty terrible in most respects. He's re-releasing already fine translations in bastardized editions just to make a penny off of suckers.
Get the more reputable editions. Can't speak for his original content because if he can't hold back his bias on already defined works, then I wouldn't trust his original conent to be fair.

You can track how he changes over the years through his videos (Though I think he has deleted a number of his transitional period videos), from his satanist days, to his pagan awakening and to now where all he talks about is politics and meme magic.
He just used to be a little more respectable. It's not like I don't watch him, I've like him as a person, he just seems a little less professional, which is strange as he's only gotten more popular and learned in his subjects. It's an odd situation.

So in chaos magick 'gnostic state' is a state of consciousness where you bypass the psychic censor, the static and normal functions of your mind, so you can cause changes in your reality.
The point is: you FOCUS on something (one-pointed focus), and meanwhile you calm or arouse the mind to occupy its other functions, so the focus (and the will) can be unchallenged and undisturbed.
Now what if this approach is wrong?
What if FOCUS is still part of the "normal" and "static" mind, so it basically makes magick more difficult?
I know, I know: but you need a focus; you want something, after all.
How should we achieve anything without a focus?

I've experienced an odd phenomenon for a while that I've always mostly ignored, but I get it often, even many times a day.
It's difficult to explain but I'll try.
Something will happen, sort of like deja vu, I will remember that I knew this was going to happen, almost like I dreamt it a long time ago, but I didn't even remember that i dreamt it until it actually happened. It'll range from bigger events to just everyday things or sentences. I can't tell if maybe I did know or if my memory is jankety and just processes my experience as if it already happened, who knows, was curious if anyone can relate though.
