For one side I'm disappointed because of Final Smash, Pokémon Variations because of a meme, and tons of Fairy-type everywhere.

For other I'm glad that Sun/Moon have removed the Gyms, making Pokémon RPGs more originals by making missions and other things, Totem battle make it feels like other RPGs in which enemies summon other enemies, etc. I'll miss the gyms but I've to admit that using them in all games make Pokemon very repetitive.

Also Mega Evolutions were never a mistake, the Pokémon they gave megas were the mistake. It gave a second chance to shine to Kangaskhan, Ampharos, Mawile, Lopunny, etc.

Where the actual fuck did those leaks come from?

For BW and XY we didn't get the final starters evos until the same month the games came out, and in turn early copies started popping up with secrets to spill.
I thought these things had to be fake because 5 months in advance was "impossible", yet here we are.

Do you think they're consciously going for some kind of convergent evolution thing here? Or just shamelessly rehashing the archetype?

I mean, there's no way they haven't noticed that none of the later rodents have been nearly as popular as Pikachu, so it can't be a matter of trying to find a "new big popular 'mon" or anything, right?

Is anyone else as pissed about these new form mons as I am? I mean shit i just want mega evolutions not new forms that will still probably not be viable competitively. I mean ice/steel? 4x weakness to fighting and fire? No way this thing will be viable. If there are no new mega in this gen Im going to fucking lose it, pretty much every pokemon revealed from this generation so far looks like complete fucking trash.
