Hey /tg/. I've been watching MMPR on Netflix recently and it gave me an idea for a campaign. TL:DR version. Pacific Rim, MMPR and Scion mushed together using a slightly house-diddled version of Monsters and Other Childish Things.
Would you play it?

I'd love to play a really, really, really, REALLY fucking edgy and grimderp campaign once. The kind where all the PCs are chaotic neutral anti-heroes and we're all just as likely to save the princess as we are to gangrape her and feed her to the dragon that kidnapped her. The kind where we play literal murderhobos in a stupidly cathartic game.

You sit up off the floor in the bouncy room, your breath still heavy from your "activities".
"Okay, coming in here was a good idea" You say.
"I told you" Abigail says, as she stands and begins to collect her clothes. "Floor's a bit cold, but otherwise it's a fun place to hang"
You stand up and stretch out, following both Abigail and the trail of discarded clothing back to the door. "You missed a 'B'" You say.

The two of you continue picking up your clothes and putting them on as you go.

How would fantasy air cav function? What would their typical missions be like, what sort of training would they receive, what type of weapons and equipment would be given to them?
In a game I'm playing in, the military has tamed wyverns that are quick and nimble that some soldiers essentially use to become sky knights and they fly in wings and typically come around and flank enemies while the main force has already engaged the enemy in pitched battle but there are also bigger drakes that are much slower than wyvern but can carry much more weight, fly much higher and are significantly slower. So far the military only uses them to ferry equipment back and forth quicker than usual and there aren't too many of them seeing as they eat an insane amount of food whenever they fly.
I want to essentially use the drakes in a more combat oriented role. What do you guys think?

Air recon and denying the enemy air recon. The question remains how you would ward your expensive and fragile wyverns against magical surface-to-air/air-to-air attacks or even conventional ranged weapons as the rider has to make eye contact. It's probably pretty easy to spot an enemy host from a safe distance, with smaller formations it would be more difficult.
Follow-up questions: High-magic or low-magic setting? Does magic/technology exist to mitigate low visibility due to bad weather/low sunlight? What would a wyvernfight look like - this is a tie-in to the second question - do they wyverns go at eacht other and all the rider can do is hold on to his steed? Does a wingman system evolve? If so, how do the wyvern riders communicate?
Problems and possibilites a pretty much analogous to our world but keep in mind the logistics, the generally abysmal productivity of non-industrialized societies and your mana level.

I'd look into Temeraire. Book series about the Napoleonic wars, but dragons exist--and are used extensively in military ops.
There are some quirky ones like one breed'll only let women ride them or what have you, but mostly they're small-to-moderate crewed vessels hurling explosives and fighting each other in blade-and-pistol boarding maneuvers (the dragons go at it to but are slightly limited by the squishy humans on them they'd rather didn't die).

We are a separate entity from /tg/ station, we just host our threads on /tg/ as the server was made by fa/tg/uys for elegan/tg/entlemen.
We occasionally run Dorfstation mode, a roundtype where the crew must build up from a bare-bones station. Dorf will be run less often then usual, probably on the first and/or last of every month now. Dorf is ran on a separate server, found at byond://76.16.8.127:28020

Join the server and read the rules and changelog (located at the top right of the game window). The changelog has been cleaned up to show changes starting from the base code of the /nt/ branch.
Code branch from NT (also named d20Station) is updated a few times every week with fixes and new content.
If you have a bug, contact an admin in-game or on the thread to report it.
Note: This is NOT SS13 general.

High elves fight with long, two handed, light blades. This ensures they can at all times free up a hand to combine sword with magic.
Wood elves are mostly skirmishers who use shortbows, javelins and throwing axes.

Stereotypical axes. However, they are also expert engineers and famed for their skill concerning the creation and use of siege weapons. I have plans to make them responsible for the creation of gunpowder weapons at some point, adding muskets to their favored weapons.

Well, pretty much the ToB styles

In Not-France there's the head of the Not-12 peers who is a Crusader (class, not fluff) who has incredibly high CON, insane hp and a glaivelock build. What's iconic about him is that he's though as nails and won't as much slap your shit (though he's more than capable of doing so) as much as he'll outlast you.
He's also one of those guys who's horribly scarred and wears an evil looking eyepatch and never smiles, but is actually a pretty swell guy.

I think I might've fucked up /tg/
I've been courting the queen of the elves via letter and the occasional sneak visit with intentions to marry her after I've solved one of the major threats to her kingdom.
And last session, an elven assassin tried to take my character down from a mile away with a special built sniper-bow.
I think this group of ancient elven illuminati might have found out about my plans to feed the Queen my BHC (Big Human Cock)
These fuckers have been secretly running the elven kingdom for longer than the continent I live on has existed; and their leaders are probably older than the country I was born in and they're hardline Anti-intergration. Think Elven /pol/, if they ran the government.
I've managed to retreat to my Thorn-covered Castle deep in my own private forest land, guarded by my retinue of plant-man and fey servants, but I can't stay here forever.
How the fuck do I get out of this without being assassinated or having to call them out and starting a war with the elves to stop the assassination attempts?
