I also thought the first three Horus Heresy books were very good, but the entire HH series has become a shitty mess now.

Eisenhorn was nice but for a book told in first person I really didn't get a feel for Eisenhorn himself. Wouldn't have minded if the author had made him a little more hard-line too.

I read the first Eisenhorn book, but then I side tracked reading other stuff and never really went back to it. I did buy the omnibus about his apprentice... I can't remember his name though, but I couldn't read it, because the text was to small for my shitty eyes.

I'm reading deathfire at the moment and it's pretty good would recommend.

Need 1, maximum 2 players for a semi-evil game wherein the players play a cult of Tiamat. Game lost a player due to real life after 1 session. Game is text based, with skype for OOC + Bullshitting as a group during the week. We hang out a lot on Skype, and we prefer players who do the same because sometimes we discuss the game amidst all our other bullshit.
The party so far is A juju priestess, a lizardfolk spiritual leader, and an Archivist mage guy.

>Mallo fights toughest prisoner while Charles fights some random dude, they barely win

I just don't use rerolls for everyone. In games with fate points, the party uses the same pool and have to work together to use them.

Thankfully they've fallen into the pitfall of finding them too valuable to use just in case and haven't used any for five sessions in a row and I've tried to be very conservative

Hopefully they're not conserving them to blow them in one go but if they want they can't chain them back to back
