>Join a campaign that's already in progress
>Spend a few days before the session talking with the GM and some of the players over skype to hash out my backstory.
>End up playing a mage character from a city in the setting that's basically a city of academics and mages.
>Said character is, understandably, very loyal to the his city and the queen that rules it.
>Literally before the first session is over, the one player I didn't talk to decides he has some personal grudge against the Queen and mages in general (the GM literally gave him no reason to be enemies with her, the party had never even been in her city before now.)

>Even after we get him released from prison by playing the thing off as a misunderstanding, he continues to guilt trip me for "trying to tear the party apart".

2 sessions later another player quit for similar reasons, but fuck man, this seems to happen to me alot. I'm not sure if the problem is mine, and if I stick to being in-character too much, or if the problem is just that I get shitty players and/or GMs who don't know how to deal with them...

These kinds of people are why I'm terrified of trying D&D. I've always wanted to play a tabletop rpg but I'm worried my noobness will just be taken advantage of. Or worse, I end up as That Guy.

I am now accepting applications for /tg/ FUMBBL League III. There will be two divisions, as before.

In the Veterans league, as usual, this is completely open-weight to any returning /tg/ League teams (either from League I, League II or both), or anyone cuh-razee enough to want to enter a fresh team.

In the Rookies league, any coach may enter a fresh team, or a returning team from either previous /tg/ Leagues under 1200 Tournament Weight (which is different to Team Value).

As usual, players may only enter one team total.

To apply, PM me on FUMBBL (user: MauledByTheTigers), stating your Team Name and which division they want to play in. Apply your team to the group, and ensure they are READY TO PLAY if not already, so you'll have to roll any skills or buy new players first.

I've had a few PMs already, I'll check your applications and either ACCEPT or REJECT you.

Also, I will skullfuck any dropouts. They're a pain in the arse for everyone involved.

If you can't last ~6 weeks, don't apply. Stick to casual play.

Holos:
- more similar to camo
- in reactive turn can auto regen holoechoes if out of LoF
- can delay ARO against holoechoes, as they are markers
- this means the reactive troop can always shoot against the real mini, but takes a surprise shot
- you can choose to shoot one of the markers and avoid the surprise shot mod if you guess right
- Carlos is easier to understand then these fucking irish
- Holo1 same as N2, must be the same silhouette model from your own army
- Holo2 3 markers that all look like the mini
- Baldy needsto get his teeth fixed
- You can make duplicates of Holo1 projections, ie. Kotail as 3 Neema Sataar
- Holo3 is Patrocles only, doesnt have NFB
