They track each other into the abandoned land of an abandoned industrial town; playing a rotating game of cat and mouse in the ruins.

This actually sounds awesome.

I was originally considering a sort of "Keep the covenant and UNSC characters separate until they can become allies," but making them fight sounds way more awesome.

How to avoid this?

Druid and Cleric would be the closest classes to being self sufficient.

Cleric is the best class for solo play. Here's why:
>Can wear medium armor and still cast.
>Can heal and buff self.
>Can still dish out moderate combat damage.
>Has a constant supply of missions from his diety (or just wandering hobo if he's an atheist cleric like the fedora tippers want).
>Nearly always lawful good so no murderhobo tendencies.
>More role play wiggle room than a paladin.

Important Information: http://pastebin.com/ZycWvygU
Super Characters: http://pastebin.com/mP36hnjY

You are Tom Gainer, Class 5 Super and volunteer Cape. So far today, you woke up, ate breakfast, got a date with a Union Cape, and started your first mission as a Cape. That mission being: Investigate some mysterious disappearances in Mid Town. Your first stop took you to the mother of one of these missing persons named Donovan. You learned quite a few things about Donovan Bucholtz:

Donovan was a model citizen. No enemies, no gang affiliations.
He wasn't a Super.
No significant other and wasn't seeing anyone.
Nothing odd was mentioned to his mother, who he talked to earlier in the week.
The area of Mid Town he lived in was fairly quiet with a low crime-rate.

Right now, you and your supervising Union Cape, Tiffany Cooke aka Cicada Killer, have landed on in front of the apartment of the next missing person's closest relative: Wallace Long's uncle. Your purpose is to interview Mr. Long about his nephew and see if you can find similarities that can further tie the two disappearances together. The apartment is nice looking. But there isn't a lot in Old Town that has been hit that hard since the Quarantine, or so Cicada Killer tells you.

She looks at you and asks you if you want to do things the same was as with Mrs. Bucholtz.

>I'll ask the questions this time. You just tell me how I did when we're done.
>I'll watch how you do the questioning. You've got more experience with this kind of thing.

It’s been almost a week since you waved farewell to Oster and you haven’t seen him since. That’s to be expected but it still makes you feel uneasy. Letting him strive on ahead alone like that might not have been the best decision but you’re sure it was the right one.
And it didn’t take Hiss very long to figure that out either. You couldn’t resist her questions forever. She seems to have made peace with his defection albeit with the caveat that she plans to punish him when he returns. You’ll have to do your best to stop that when it comes.

And as for the host you’re travelling with, it moves slowly forward day by day. Just the logistics alone are staggering and what little you’ve seen of Orange confirms that he’s extremely overworked. At least he appears to have enlisted some human underlings to help him with that.
Together you’ve plowed along the main road and through empty villages and townships, the occupants of which having fled before you. You notice Hiss’ smile growing wider with each one and you can’t help but think back to the plan she told you of after she killed the Duke.
The crowds of refugees and deserters she drives before her have splinters in their hearts. The vanguard are within them and she claims to have subverted at least one general already.
But unfortunately most of her plan remains opaque to you, hidden behind troop movements and logistics and other such patterns that you have a hard time understanding. Hiss has taken to them quite well however. She or her father must have eaten a tactician at some point.

And how have you been spending your week? You’ve had less time to yourself than you’d like, Hiss having put you and your homunculi to work on last-minute alchemical supplies and weapons but you’ve still been at work.

I can barely contain my excitement, under my mask I'm grinning madly and happily as I tap my fingers on my knees. I've been honestly waiting for a chance to do this since this whole mess started. And not only that, but after all this I can finally have all the quality Maria time I deserve, and just in time for spring and summer...not that she'll want to go outside, but still I'm sure we can find a bit of summer fun indoors....Maybe a blood pool.

I giggle in the darkness of the helicopters innards, the moonlight the only thing lighting up its dull metal belly. There's not even a little tiny bit of sound in here, besides myself.

Cold metal, cold air. And horrible silence. I'm sure most people would call this kind of environment unnerving or maybe even disturbing. But for me, all it's doing is making my dead heart race with anticipation.

It's been so long since I've been on a real proper mission, a real challenge. A test for my skills and body. It's going to be wonderful

<Still as bloody thirsty as ever I see>
T Of course, she's a vampire is she not T
S a hunter of hunters of hunters, the pinical of the food chain S
[Who likes scratches behind the ears, cuddling, and lazing around in the sun]
S....silence S

Yeah yeah, I get it, but still you have to admit it's exciting to finally get to kill

Who am I destroying tonight?

My online GM has a terrible habit of referring to everyone as male. EVERYONE.

We have female players in the group. He calls them "sir" and refers to them with male pronouns.
We have female PCs in the party. The GM also calls them by male pronouns and describes them as "men."
He's a native English speaker.

Three sessions into the game and literally every NPC is male, not a single woman in sight.

The GM just says "Sorry, force of habit" and promises to correct himself whenever we bring it up. We've seen no signs of it changing.

I'm seriously considering leaving the game because it's really annoying and immersion-breaking. Is it something petty to leave a game for?

>Introduction:

Your world is upside-down right now. Literally. To the cheers of thousands, you're on the wrong side of a painful submission hold in the Semi-Finals of the biggest "Friday Night Real Bout" you've seen yet. Everything's getting a little dizzy, too, from the fact that your legs and torso are stretched back like a pretzel while your overly-large opponent is sitting on the ground with a leg up for leverage.

The first two fights of the night were easy enough; Some Chinese Kung-Fu dude folded like a origami crane and while that college professor was strong, he was slow and easily beaten by your relentless speed and offense. Hell, you were starting to think that it was easy; That 6 months off just training with the rest of class preserved your fundamental skills.

"Tsunami Tsuyako", on the other hand, is a different kettle of fish and certainly strong enough to carry the whole "Schoolgirl delinquent straight out of the 1970's" gimmick she's got going for her... Though her padded singlet, thick kneepads, shin guards and her boots you can spot from peeking up her long skirt explain how she's toughed out your attacks so far and dished out damage back to you in spades. Hell, the cheesy costume Tatsuya "Persuaded" you to wear is almost as thin as paper in comparison; You've felt every punch & kick reverberate through your gloves and shoes tonight, that's for sure!

You wriggle around like a freshly-caught fish and catch glances of Tatsuya-Sensei looking disappointed and Avery blushing while holding her hands in front of her face... Did your "Disguise" rip open or something? Hell with it, there's no time to check: You've got to get out of this quickly or else you'll have to explain how you lost to a greenhorn in a "Casual" tournament full of KOF No-Hopers, Has-Beens, Make-Weights & Never-Will-Bes...

You sit up like a shot as you wake up. You're not sure if the urgency was necessary, but better to be quick than to... uhh...

Scratch that metaphor.

"Good morning" Ilica says. You turn to see her licking her paws on the other bed.. "Sleep well?"
"Yes" You say. "How about you?"
"Ugh. Next time we get 2 beds, you get to sleep with the snake" She says, as she stretches out her arms. "I got to spend last night getting the heat squeezed out of me. Not fun"

The hunter's guild lent you all a room with 2 beds to spend the night in. It was decided that it should be boys in one bed, girls in the other.

"It's not so bad" You say.
"Which is why you're sleeping with the snake next time" She says. "You've got the whole 'demonic tenacity' going for you. The only time the words 'sturdy' and 'cats' in the same sentence is when the word 'aren't' is in between them"

You tilt your head. "Sturdy aren't cats?" You ask.
"Nyevermind" She says. "You should fix up your hair before we go. It's a mess"
You look up, as though that will let you see it. "How?" You ask

"Mirror's right there, Yuu" Ilica says, as she points to a strange panel on the wall.
