>Berserker
When it says "your enhancement is without limit" how literal is this meant to be taken? I'm assuming you're not supposed to theoretically be capable of destroying the planet by flexing your muscles? Ditto for Master's Body
>Sei Dou Goitsu
If you lack a nervous system for some reason can you use this technique indefinitely without harm?
>Enhanced Ki
Any specific ki tricks or is the general killing intent/projected strikes stuff? How does it compare with Ki Kneading?
>Resistance suit
Just to check, those stats only apply to a baseline human's right?
>Secret of Steel
If you're a good enough metallurgist could you eventually apply the forging techniques to metals other than steel?
Anyway. As should be clear by now I've never read this series at all, but other than that everything looks in order.
How would you guys feel about a Corruption of Champions Jump?
>>46713337
You know the answer. Go away.
This general is about plastic space men not /pol/ edition.

Rules for renegade knights
First for why can't these guys have daemon bolters anymore?
>>46712222
>cats have a unique interaction with magic
What makes them special?
They do? They are?
>>46711108
Cats are actually quite stupid. Why do you think they're hard to train? You need intelligence to remember and understand orders.
>>46711245
You also need incentive. Most cats don't follow a pack or herd structure so they have no reason to respect your authority.
At what point does modern/semi-modern technology start to overpower magic in a medieval setting like ASOIAF or LOTR?
Although they have some magic (dragons, balrogs, etc) they are general limited in number and the overall population/supply lines/supplies are much much lower than you see in real countries.
At the point when you can mass produce breech-loading or cartridge firearms, it's basically over for fantasy land.
>>46711480
this the invenvtion of fire arms combined with the industrial revolution allowed the creation of massive powerful armies that didn't need that much training
>>46712244
>>46711480
These posters are right but let's not forget that cavalry was still generally the most effective part of early firearm based armies and often they would just run people down, not even bothering with weapons
So if the medieval side has good cavalry, they can sort of compete in skirmishes
You are Captain Kusajishi Riku, and you're feeling rather embarrassed at the moment. After putting your heads together and coming to a series of wrong conclusions, you and your fellow Captains have finally located Head Captain Yamamoto: right in the heart of the Seireitei.
“How did we not see this coming?” you moan, more angry at yourself than anyone else. “We're supposed to be smarter than this!”
Kaoru shakes her head in disbelief. “The Head Captain must have come here hoping he'd be found faster this way.”
“The barriers down there were damaged during our hollowfication,” you realize, recalling that one hundred years ago the destruction of the Sōkyoku hill from within was a very real possibility. “They're still weak in some places. I can't imagine they'll survive if were not careful.”
“Must have been one hell of a party,” Kaoru grins. “Almost makes me wish I'd gotten an invite.”
All joking aside this is a serious problem. Even your own senses, impressive though they may be, can't hope to penetrate to the space inside the barriers. The only reason you could locate the Head Captain at all is because most kidō barriers aren't designed to be airtight, as not only would that suffocate anyone inside it would also require a prohibitive investment of reiatsu. The barrier protecting Yoruichi and Kisuke's old training grounds is no different from other barriers in that respect, allowing Yamamoto's zanpakuto to affect the atmosphere surrounding the Sōkyoku hill despite being on the wrong side of it.
It's enough that blood trickles from your nose as your body feels the slight but noticeable effects of moving from cold drizzle to bone-dry air and sunshine with almost zero transition.
“The design of the barrier leaves only one access point,” you inform Kaoru, bringing her into the small fold of people who know about the secret entrance on the side of the hill. “I can't tell who or what is inside, but you can be sure that the entrance will be guarded.”
>1/2
>>46709947
Therein lies the dilemma: despite an intimate familiarity with the terrain the defenders have a distinct advantage. You suppose a strong enough push for the main entrance could overwhelm any defenders who were posted there. There couldn't be room for more than a handful of zanpakuto at that point, though the ones that are there would likely be among the more powerful.
“Sounds like a natural chokepoint,” Kaoru frowns. “Do you remember where any of the weak spots in the barrier might be?”
You shake your head. “Just the general areas. Nothing specific.”
Not to mention the fact that penetrating the barrier would expose surrounding buildings and nearby shinigami to a serious risk. You have no idea what's going on in there, and until you do it might be unwise to crash through blindly.
Another issue is whether you want to inform the other high-ranking officers of the Seireitei, mostly Captains and Lieutenants, of what you've found. A limited strike team would offer certain advantages, mainly because having multiple zanpakuto like Tenken involved would all but guarantee collateral damage. Conversely, bringing in all of the officers whose swords have gone rogue would probably guarantee each of them a chance at defeating their own sword. If the battle could be spread out beyond the walls of the training grounds, this would draw off Muramasa's support and allow you and Yoruichi a clean shot at him.

PICK ONE:
>Kaoru, please assist me in contacting all Captains, Lieutenants, the 11th Division Third and Fifth Seats, and the 9th Division Third through Sixth Seats.
>Please contact a shortlist of fighters (write-in) and have them join us when they can. We'll go when we have an adequate force.
>Securing Yamamoto is our priority, so we'll go in as soon as Yoruichi catches up.
>I'm going in now. I'd appreciate the backup, but you don't have to come if you don't want to.
ALSO, PICK ONE:
>We'll use the main entrance, overwhelm the defenders there and get inside.
>You, me, and Yoruichi can easily sneak in. Take advantage of the ensuing confusion and surprise.
>We'll use kidō to mouse-hole our way in through the side of the hill.
>>46710018
>I'm going in now. I'd appreciate the backup, but you don't have to come if you don't want to.

>captain of the second company
FOOLS, IT IS I CATO SICARIUS, KNIGHT CHAMPION OF MACRAGGE WHO IS THE TRUE CAPTAIN OF THE SECOND COMPANY ANYONE THAT DARES SAY OTHERWISE SHALL FACE ME, CATO SICARIUS IN GLORIOUS COMBAT
So what's the deal with these guys? Are they actually the only good faction or it's just a facade?
>>46709415
40k does not have any good faction. The grim derp marks everything. The entire eldar fall was written because eldar seemed to be the good faction at the beginning and they couldn't stand that.
The best Tau could be is the least bad.
>>46709415
They're an example of the many small up and coming alien empires that exist in the galaxy, slowly expanding as the Imperium reaches the precipice of collapse.
>>46709415

Hah. There is no 'good' in 40kek. That's the whole point.

what's the point ?
>Orks are a melee race!
>I2
Not gonna lie, I'm genuinely fucking amazed. That price is amazing.
>>46708675
I'm not entirely sure if you mean the price is good or outrageous.
Kinda reminds me of the old adeptus titanicus box.
>>46708675
"Boardgame" with 2 pieces and 2 ruins.
So it's basically a super-expensive adeptus titanicus with shittier rules in a ridiculous scale.
Good for people who want 2 knights for cheaper I guess.
We know nothing but the game still sucks! Edition.

Menoth.
>>46708585
ty senpai, that's the way I was leaning.
>>46708601
Go Menoth, it's one of the owners favorite faction and it's going to be OP as fuck
The sound of liquid spraying everywhere, the scream of hollows, the smell of blood, a thick red mist.
These are the only things your brain is registering right now.
This was the first time since you became a hollow that killing felt so satisfying.
Yes, this brings back memories.
A hollow in this settlement managed to do alone what only the Third Reich could pull off, he pissed you off.
You could practically feel what that bastard was fantasizing about.
But at least he paid the price.
Now however every single hollow is running around like chickens with their heads cut off, panicking and confused.
Everyone except Pesci and Alex.
You can almost hear Pesci muttering something along "holy" and "shit" while Alex is just staring into the empty space that the hollow was occupying just moments ago.
She quickly snaps out of it though and redirects her attention towards you.
"W-what the hell Kaizar?!
I-I was going to kill him myself!"
She seems angry yet scared at the same time.
Come to think of it, she hasn't seen the full extent of your powers before.
It's very likely she was contemplating just what kind of bullet she managed to dodged by allying herself with you.
"WE ARE UNDER ATTACK, EVERYONE TAKE COVER!"
The leader of the locals is ordering the others, not realizing the danger has already passed.
Pesci actually takes charge and tries to calm down the beholder like hollow, grabbing him and holding him in place.
"Please, just calm down!
My friend got attacked and one of the gillians simply protected her.
I apologize."
"W-wait what?
So you are saying we are safe now?"
Who attacked her?"
"I saw it!
It was Fisher!"
A hollow shouts from the terrified crowd.
"Oh, really?
Then nothing of value was lost.
He was an asshole."
Another hollow responded.
It looks like whoever this "Fisher" was he wasn't very popular.
It still took quite a lot of convincing from Pesci to let you stay in the settlement.
As much as they hated the guy they were still terrified that the gillians might go on a rampage.
However with some help and plenty of apologizing from Alex the leader decided to not kick you out just yet.
But you'll have to be on your best behavior from now on.
They both bowed and thanked him for his kindness.
Afterwards you all went outside of the settlements border to show you don't mean to cause any trouble.
What followed was... annoying, to say the least.
Alex quickly jumped on your head and kept kicking your forehead with her heel while she repeated the word "idiot" with each blow.
All the while Pesci tried his best to calm her down.
The worst part is that the little devil is so fast you just couldn't get a hold of her.
After she got bored she finally jumped off to start properly scolding you.
"Just look at how much trouble you caused!
We had to bow down and apologize for heavens sake!
And what gave you the idea to butt in on my fight asshat?"
She asks angrily.
"Listen Boss, I know I haven't seen it all but was that really necessary?
I mean I haven't felt so sick since the first time I saw the camp in the living world."
While they both have a point it's very likely that neither of them grasped the severity of the situation.
Hell, Pesci should know by now that getting you mad is not a healthy thing.
And the word mad doesn't describe that feeling of pure hatred that engulfed you.
Up until this point you always killed for a reason, it may not have been a very good reason but a reason none the less.
This was the first time you took matters into your own hands and outright murdered someone like this.
And while you were right to execute him you might have gone overboard with it.
>Pull Pesci aside and try explaining it to him.
>Apologize to Alex for everything you just did.
>Look for the leader and give a proper apology.
>Other? (write-in)

>I'm sorry guys but you're just going to have to trust me on this one
Can someone TL'DR this thread for someone who's new?
Will a loxo game ever last to maturity?
Is Underground Quest coming back this weekend?
All of this and more!
It's a shame that Mongol loxo one died.
unseen civ when?
It's not a civ, but I just started my own quest if you guys are interested:
>>46708942
Buying, brewing, playing, tech.
Didn't watch much of that scg open, anything interesting going on there?
Have you guys made any changes to adapt to the meta?
What changes are you noticing out of other people?
>>46708062
>affinity doesn't give 2 shits when I drop a chalice for 0
Okay
And if you honestly think infect doesn't care about chalice for 1 you're also retarded, yeah, good luck playing a become immense after casting 0 1 drop spells, seems like a good idea.
I'll admit Jund is not great for my deck, but it still shuts off bolts and their discard. That can be as much as 1/4 of their deck, and that's a reasonable play for sure. Yeah it can get abrupt decayed, but if they don't have a follow up for my thopter sword combo they're going to lose.
>>46708123
He can cast all the 1 mana spells he wants you mong, read the card. Blighted Agent costs 2.
>>46708193
Do you really think become immense will resolve? It's essentially the only pump spell they can play, and between my 2 remand and 4 leaks, it's just not happening, infect cannot beat chalice for 1 if they have any sort of interaction to back it up. You're just wrong.
You already bought right right anon?
I really don't like the model. and I have over 7k points in space marines(black templars). I get that its a play off an old model, that is probably the only thing cool about it to me. But yeah, no interest, I'd rather spend money on betrayal at calth and some alpha legion stuff from forgeworld.
>>46707925
No, I've already sold my soul to the mechanicuck taghmata, no going back baby
I can't add it to my cart, is it already sold out?
While out adventuring, you come across a group of men who keep bullying a robot, preventing him from ever picking up a box, what will your party do?
Anti-bully force, assemble!
Roll for initiative
Spend the next few turns tripping the robot
Destroy the box.
