I recently got the 4th level Iron Tortoise maneuver "Ricochet Shell." As far as I can tell, I only make one attack roll while using it, and apply that to all four enemies. Is this correct?

Id dual wielding light crossbows viable? What about rapid shot?

The established school of thought is that rapid shot should be used almost always with bows since -2 isn't that bad. However, if I'm dual wielding, a total of -4 and then a further penalty if I'm using deadly aim just seems too much.

As cool as dual wielding is, I'm not sure it's viable with the bolt ace due to the attack penalties being too serious.

On the other hand, you have 19-20/x4 crit, so perhaps having more attacks is better?

E.g. level 5 bolt ace with a +1 weapon, 20 DEX
Attack bonus is +11
TWF would make that +9/+9
TWF and rapid shot would make that +7/+7/+7, if I'm working this out right?

Is taking a penalty of more than a third of my attack bonus worth it?

After all, everyone knows that Feris is your city's patron, not theirs, however they insisted to the contrary. If the ship carrying a goddess' statue is caught in a storm and beached near a city, it shows pretty clearly who does that goddess favor, right? So you were completely justified in ordering the statue installed in Sshurhat-Ahai's main temple, and no one can deny it!

"Anyway," Ergu politely interrupts, "The good news is, there is pretty much only one path from the Urgatian camp to the city, so we can choose the place of the battle. The bad news is, this place can't be the city itself. The harvest still hasn't begun, so any sieging force will have plenty of food from the fields, while we starve behind the walls. We'll have to give a pitched battle."

"We could send our ships to harass their fleet," proposes general Yonnesh. "With their ships laden with soldiers and supplies, they will be disadvantaged in sea combat."

"It's also possible that Apenepton has some unknown ally that will strike at us from the sea as soon as we send the ships off," notes general Zess. "The landing may be just a big diversion".

Hey Dick and or Head,how many times can you take original design and are is the following list the kind of things I could expect to do with it? Can you gain limbs from it or are you stuck with the standard four? And if you take a projectile weapon does it take the standard amount of time to reload or is that done internally, because if it's the standard amount of time that might make the Combi-Weapon option a lot less appealing, or should I assume it works on the same mechanics as it does in the game?
Here's my ideas
1. pile bunker arm that is also a cannon
2. Tesla coil shoulders that continuously throw an aura of damaging lightning.
3. Extra-large mouth with drill teeth.
4. Feet lay explosive caltrops
5. Tongue is a long bladed tentacle
6. a eye is replaced with a gun

Depends on what you mean by "social justice quest." Technically, any quest where the MC is struggling against a corrupt society can qualify.

In a way, Script Kitten Quest might qualify as a social justice quest. The MC is a strong, independent woman who is a member of a despised and outcast minority fleeing persecution in her home country.

Casualties were relatively light. Several planes were shot down or damaged, but the Marines took the brunt of the damage, with several hundred dead or wounded. However, the biggest casualties lay within the shipgirl force. While no shipgirls were sunk, practically all of them were damaged or exhausted to varying degrees. From what you heard from the Captain, the USN's shipgirl force wouldn't be back up to full readiness for months. In particular, Iowa and Midway had taken serious damage. Mulberry passed out shortly after defeating the Midway Princess, and remained asleep.

Thankfully, the conventional fleet, which had sat back safely in the rear lines, was practically untouched, and there were already talks of starting escorted supply convoys to Asia.

But all of that didn't matter to you as you tried to relax in one of the temporary repair facilities hastily constructed by Mulberry's fairies on the beaches of Midway. You took rather light damage, but the warm healing waters still felt like heaven.

"So you're telling me," Portland blinked, "that you TALKED to the Abyssals?"
