All we know is we picked up some decent additional nanomachine lore, which was nice since back in the early days, nanomachines were a Big Deal in our arsenal.

And-there's Theming Advantages, which is great to stack with Talecrafting from Changeling and Children of the Elder God from Alan Wake. Because while we despise the concept of shouting attack names in battle, if you're in an emergency and you need to go all-out it's better to be prepared than sorry.

We're pretty sure we just ran an interstellar bakery somewhere, that kept getting mysteriously burned down. And started getting carted around on space breadnoughts for protection after a while for safety after a while.

Depends a lot on the GM and the group, so it's best to ask first what people are looking for. Some GMs are looking for short, no frills stuff, others are looking for a detailed physical description, etc.

Personally as a GM, I think a good description is evocative. The ideal for me isn't overly long, but focuses on what's distinctive about the character, giving some degree of insight into who they are alongside enough details to paint a decent picture of them in your imagination.

Short answer: No.

Long answer: Maybe "if you die in game, you're kicked out of that campaign." Play it with friends that are buddies beyond just a play group, and let them know their in for a hardcore survival GM-as-nature game, then sure.
If they know the stakes, it'll make death more daunting, fights more thrilling, and the game just more fun, but in the wrong context, it could just ruin possible friendships.

1. The official model looks pretty good. I like it. It's a portable, collapsible, military structure. It's like complaining that a modern day FOB or tent city doesn't look good.

2. Nobody gives a shit people have been making their own fortifications since the dawn of time. You should at least make it about the same size and have the same weapons and ports, but honestly who gives a shit you can even ignore that if you want to. Build a gothic skyscraper citadel if you want.
