So right now I'm trying to come up with a number of traps with which to populate a dungeon hidden in a dense forest. Parts of it are going to be underground, so I'm thinking about including lots of traps that incorporate poisonous fungal gas and pit traps. Not sure if I wanna go full punji with the pit traps, though, because that just seems kinda cruel to force the party to go through without a dedicated healer involved.

Army Builder won't let me put the warbuggies in a squadron of 5, so I had to list them separately.

Also, the warbuggies have twin-linked rokkits, but again, Army Builder wouldn't allow it.

If they are really that new, I'd advise you to keep things as simple as possible- maybe don't even try one of the 'proper' Fallout TTRPG systems, instead going for something far more free-form.

Also might be worth checking exactly what fallout your players have played before- 3 only? NV? 1-2?

Definitely Fate. Specifically, use Fate Accelerated Edition (FAE) and replace the Approaches (Cleverly, Quickly, etc) with S.P.E.C.I.A.L.

The rules for FAE are pay-what-you-want -- even free if you wish. Look around for some examples of play, though. It can be hard to really get what Fate is supposed to feel like, but once you do, it's a breeze to play.
