What are it's stats?
Why is this card more expensive than Avacyn?
For fucks sake, this was the cheapest preorder in the HISTORY of Planeswalkers, at a pathetic $12. I shit you not. And Avacyn was a $50 card for quite a while.
>>51864259
Actually, it's tied for the lowest....
...With Jace, Vryn's Prodigy.
Remember how that turned out?
I really need to start listening to my one LGS and do the opposite of what they say considering they dumped on Baby Jace, Nahiri and Liliana.
>>51864259
Ava has a passive ability and nahiri has that removal?
I don't really see it either
ITT: Stories you have of times when everything goes according to plan.New to D&D and all that, so I have nothing to contribute unfortunately. But I love hearing tales of crazy bull-shit you guys pull that somehow works in your favor.
>>51863202
You mean greentext stories?
>>51863225
Personal experiences mostly.
>>51863225
But anon, 100-100% of those greentext stories are fake.
I don't get it. If the paints were meant to be thinner, they'd be sold at a thinner consistency. So why waist the time and paint? It's not like watering it down makes it look any better. In fact, it just makes the paint all streaky and uneven.
Stop with your stupid ironic memefaggotry, all they do is make new painters feel like they're doing something wrong.
Pic unrelated.

And then you'd get less work out of the same volume of paint. This is a pretty consistent practice with all forms of paint, from artistic uses to houses.
>>51862957
This is bait right? You only have to add a small amount of water to the paint. You get a smoother paint job with 2 to 3 layers of slightly thinned paint than one thick layer. Also sometimes you don't need to thin paint, such as when painting large areas or drybrushing.

Wait, I thought this guy was actually crazy. Is it all an act to get people to buy his supplements? That's crazy.
it seems to be the trend these days to make settings very drab, grey, earth tones, whether its medieval or futuristic or whatever
can we have some real colorful inspiration imagery? post the most garish costumes, characters, towns, landscapes, worlds, beasts, whatever you got

Is this colorful enough?

>The campaign ends on a "joke"
I have trouble believing this happens often enough to be a problem. Individual sessions? Maybe. But campaigns see a proper ending so rarely that I'm pretty sure the average GM would want to end on a proper denouement instead of a gag.

Why do you still play?
Fuck off. WotC made a promise, and they have no right to devalue my collection.
Would writing and selling D&D adventures on DriveThruRPG be a decent way to make money on the side? Does anyone even play them?
I wouldn't expect a whole lot. You could maybe make a bit of petty cash, but unless your stuff is really fucking good then I wouldn't expect much.
>>51860121
If I made 50 dollars ever, I'd be happy.
My question is: what game should I write it for? I know GURPS, Savage Worlds, and D&D 3e through 5e the best. Dunno what people play. Or are system-agnostic adventures okay? Usually I avoid them because they require extra prep work in the case of NPCs they introduce.
>>51860102
You could. You could also sell directly through roll20.
I don't know what the exact salesfigures are so I can't tell you but obviously someone buys them to some degree, otherwise nobody would keep making them.
Personally I don't buy anything unless I love it, but perhaps the barrier of purchase is lower for other people.
>>51860276
>system-agnostic adventures okay?
Well, if it's prepared for a particular genre, without actual stats, but decent descriptions that's still ok.
If you have decent art, decent maps, decent plots, with decent characters, then that still trumps having premade npc and monster blocks because writing up stats or even copy pasting slightly modified stats from something else is very very simple.
Most GMs worth their salt already have plenty of statblocks prepared anyway in case things go in an unexpected direction. They also still have to modify completely prepared modules to make them fit in their setting, or to adjust things for their players. There is no such thing as zero prep.
I bought a d30 today. What do I do with it

Your bbeg has now won. Conquered the world, killed off the party, or whatever he was trying to do in the first place.
However there is one problem. He has either completely forgotten what he was going to do after that initial goal of conquering the world/killing the party/taking over the megacorp/whateverthefuckelse has no clue what he's going to actually do with the world/dead party/megacorp/whatever.
How does this affect him and the world around him? How does this story go for him?
>>51858312
He'll pick another goal and pursue it, duh. Probably something nefarious. He's Evil for a reason.

what does /tg/ think of harmon quest
i watched the frist 3 episodes and they where luke warm
I like Mr Harmon's work, community and rick and morty are great, but I can't get into Harmon quest. Feels tryhard. Spencer the dm is kinda cool as they just picked him up on tour and changed his life, I just don't have enough time to enjoy both that and acquisitions inc at the same time (also the reason I don't watch critical role every time 5 hours of content comes up.
Critical Role- What every group wants to be.
Harmon Quest- What every group is.

So I heard this place had some good deals on power armor accessories. What do you have on hand?
>>51856375
I have a couple late model MOSPEADA drive armors in the back. Both are standard issue, CADS and 38-Lites are hard to come by these days.
