Traditional alignment only works in games where you can reasonably expect the edge-cases of that framework to not be challenged, as it falls apart under moderate scrutiny (see the massive quantity of arguments about what constitutes each alignment). If you're playing a hack-and-slash with clear good guys and bad guys, it's fine. If you want something more nuanced, I'd suggest passing on it.

I suppose a question would be why include alignment at all in a game? In the case of D&D and its ilk, it has mechanic effects (Smite Evil being classic) that reinforce the struggle of good vs evil which speaks of the original intention for the game (straightforward conflict). This only really matters if alignment is an objective force in your world. If it isn't, there's really no need to officially codify the alignment of all characters. You'll get better character personalities if you don't provide such simplistic crutches to rely on.

Yeah,t hat's why I was looking for the homebrew alignment system I mentioned. IIRC instead of it being on two axes you could choose to stack as many or as few alignments as you wanted, and the alignments were different ideas that didn't always contradict each other.

Vampires can't go into space: it's constantly exposed to the sun's rays and radiation.
They'd almost assuredly die from that, but even if they didn't; they could and would still die from that, uhhh... That fucking process where the pressure is all wrong, you're in a vacuum, and you simultaneously boil and explode.

People pass out within a few seconds and then peacefully die from exposure, but a Vampire would have the horrifying pleasure of being conscious while the inside of their body exploded.

A Chaos voodoo puppet. Treat it as a weapon that does very little damage but has the Crippling quality. Make it Warp Weapon too so that it can go through armor.

Some kind of blood sword that gets stronger/does more damage/gets larger as it either deals damage and or absorbs health from wielder?

There's a clear issue between the reality of subjective tastes and the need in a game for objective stats. One of the ways brought up to represent that is with objective measurements (bust, waist, hips, height, weight), but that honestly doesn't convey much information. Both Alina Li and Tia Tanaka are 34B, but Alina is 5'8" and Tia is 5'2" so Tia's look much larger. Therefore, on the Ratings sheet, she's rated higher. From a studio's perspective, Tia could be cast in a big tits movie, while Alina could not. That's the information I am trying to figure out how to represent that meaningfully.

I often complain now that the loss of Quest threads seemed to have also removed all of /tg's/ creativity and originality.

I want to get into hobby with my friend but he is not sure which army should he pick I have already chose I Nids to suffer with. His top 3 are Eldars, Deldars and Crons. He likes their aesthetics and fluff same so it’s all about hobby-related stuff. Could you rate them 1-5 based on few characteristic?

They way in which you limit magic need not be so sweeping. Like, if casted spells are not a thing, only magical items and rarely spell trigger items, it can keep a low fantasy feel while letting you still magic stuff away when needed.
It might be fun to portray fantasy beasts in a less fantastic light, like those dog sized chimeric dragons in old paintings.

My group is turning into a complete trainwreck. Everybody is at odds with each other both in character and out of game. Nobody wants to co operate, people get legitimately angry irl every session, nobody is having fun. What a disaster.
