Good day members of the federation, I have now had a good and solid rest inside my resting sack, so what have I missed in the last session? Is the war still going on?

Hail to you Speaker. The Dukedom would like to welcome is newest member species the Voknoe.
Damn, Oblits are now less favourable!
>>53488940
Worse than that
They are fuvking bad m8, and almost the price of a rhino
>>53488940
looks like terminators armed with autocannons
using averages they would have S8 AP-2 D2, so they are better than autocannons normally
they get an extra wound over termies, who supposedly get 2
really slow, though
Think ill be sticking with autocannon Havocs instead.

"cute succubutt" edition
Guys, should I just give in and make another "make an adventurers and friends" cyoa like Fulcrum or Hero Academy (which I love, for the record) or should I keep plugging away at my more niche ideas. I'm just worried about the finished product not being that great when I could have been working on something I liked all along.
>>53488721
nobody cares either way
So I have planned to introduce my friends to Everyone is John by having them play premade voices.
What's your ideas for premade voices ?
>>53488279
Just use a 4chan board a base.
>>53488279
I feel like half the point of playing EIJ is to make your own voice.
>>53488412
We should play EiJ here

>Once Upon a December
Why are you posting this NOW, OP?!
Write a story about this little girl and her new friend /tg/. One sentence at a time.
Betty summoned a succubus today.
>>53487619
once upon a time
>>53487635
That's not a sentence.
If Dungeons and Dragon is bad, what game DOES /tg/ recommend for the kind of classic medieval adventure?
>>53487512
FATAL.
For wholesome family fun.
They don't. /tg/ exists to bitch about absolutely everything, because only by pretending to look down your nose at everything can you project the false sense of superiority most of the people here use to prop themselves up. Fact of the matter is that most of tg doesn't hate everything near as much as they like to pretend, they're just trying to look good or fit in. Individuals may be able to suggest something, but /tg/ will be too busy pretending to be too good for dnd and screaming that you're a faggot.
>>53487521
Or trolling, I forgot about trolling. Can't forget those who go the extra mile and try to prove they're "witty". Wouldn't be /tg/ without them.
Anons, long story short, we're playing a pretty long-running campaign, that is supposed to last at least twenty in-game years. The small town in which our characters are living has a shitload of orphans and homeless children, so I've had a bright idea of building an orphanage, so they won't starve and freeze to death come winter.
This is, however, a huge investment, and feeding and cloting them all will be an even bigger one. I can't just build this shit out of kindness of my heart.
How do I make money on it?
Use the children as cheap labor.
>>53486833
Orphanage by day, Brothel by night,

This is how it worked in the old days.
And when they get old enough, sell them to the army.

What do you like better- Heavy, Medium, or Light armor?
>>53486257
>not wearing all three types at the same time
Reposting on the new thread
I want to give as part of a magic item, the power to transform yourself into a Treant once per day without the Animate Trees action. But since this is VERY powerful, I also wanted to add some kind of drawback to using this power, so that they don't use it every single day.
What I've thought is either make it require your concentration, or make it so that even after turning back into a humanoid you're still vulnerable to fire for 24 hours. Which should I do? Is there a better idea?
>>53486257
I wish the differences between Light, Heavy, and Medium armor were more than 1-2 points of AC, especially when Light Armor comes with soooo many fewer drawbacks (no stealth/acrobatics disadvantage, cheap to replace, ect).
I also wish medium armor had a point on more characters than just a few of the clerics or UA Bladelock.
Title says it all. Don't honestly care what kind. Pretty, creepy, realistic, sexy, ugly, etc. I just need them!

I' have a bunch, most in the weird variety (particularly horrible deep sea ones). I'll post what I have.
It's a well known fact that, due to various chemical properties of the stuff that make it impossible for bacteria to grow in it, that honey cannot spoil, ever, if preserved properly (which is to say, in a closed container away for excess moisture). Huge wax-sealed earthenware jars of honey found in the tombs of ancient pharaohs, thousands of years old, was found to be still edible.
So this got me to thinking. Liches pride themselves on their ancient knowledge and collected artifacts, but many also miss the pleasures of their once-mortal selves.
So imagine a lich whose knowledge runs toward the memories of a culinary life...
His prized possession is a jar of thousand-year-old honey made from a flower gone extinct generations ago.
Mixed among spell tomes are ancient collections of cookbooks written in long-dead languages using ingredients once common to ancient civilizations but now far far rarer.
His lair hides a winecellar with bottles first sealed when he was mortal centuries ago and only now are they reaching their peak of aging.
And so forth...
What could you do with such a character?
>>53485735
That's actually a pretty cool idea for a Neutral Lich. I might steal that.
>>53485735
La nouvelle necromancy?
For a moment there I expected you were about to propose a lich that kept its body well-preserved by just sealing himself in a giant jar of honey.
What's /tg/'s opinion on this game ?
>>53485660
It's fine, but it needs some tweaks. The way the book is written, nothing overtly supernatural ever happens because "demons" are invisible beings that bring random natural misfortunes like bandit raids and famine.
If it were more American Frontier Fantasy, I would like it more.
>>53485720 gets it. Going by the examples in the book, all the actual conflict in the game is about boring nonsense like infidelity and family drama. Who cares about 'escalation' and raising stakes when the core of the story just isn't interesting? The setting has no real hook to grab the attention of the players - I can't imagine anyone anyone getting excited about enforcing sumptuary laws or digging wells.
By no means is my opinion the best one but I despise everything Vincent Baker has done because he never explains things in concrete terms, which to me makes him come across as a bit up his own ass.
so how do normal people/commoners handle monsters in your setting?
>>53485655
Usually by running away.
Not living where monsters live. Failing that, numbers, lots of pointy sticks, and throwing stuff.
Shooting at them with the guns that they all carry for monster-shooting
Im going to be dming a session for my group soon and im sick of the D&D system im sort of interested in GURPS which edition would you recommend
>>53485313
Welcome to not-D&D! Out here, editions really aren't a big deal. Just use whatever is newest and enjoy your stay!
>>53485831
im going to take this reply as genuine and say thanks
>>53485855
It is. Good luck.
