A sudden thump resonates from your door, and you bolt upright. You shake off your weariness, and quietly lift your sword from its position on the floor beside your bed. You pad across the room, and press your ear to the door, listening for any other signs of disturbance. If there was a breach, the watchmen should have alerted everyone in the fort. You hear absolutely nothing, and it worries you immensely. It might have been nothing, but you can never be sure, especially where the things that go bump in the night are concerned. You keep the sword raised, and move to unlatch the door, but stop when a second thump resonates from the door. You take a step back, and grip the hilt of your sword with both hands.

You decide to take the hallway on the left while Vasquez goes right and the sresh continues straight. The hallway branches off here and there, leading to various rooms. You pass rooms full of crates and rooms with various instruments. There’s a lot of heavy machinery here. A massive room with what looks like foundries is up ahead. It’s practically filled to the brim with conveyors and automated fabricators.

You think, leaning back on your heels. It sounds an awful lot like Strega’s gunning for you to kill her summoner. Logically, that’s a win for both of you. Strega goes free, at least for a while, and you get out of here scott-free. You’re sure that between the two Courts, the cops won’t get near this case, so legal ramifications aren’t an issue.

But...you’ve never killed anyone before. The thought of it makes your heart race, and your stomach twitches, threatening to bring up what’s left of lunch. Even if you wanted to, you’re not sure you know how. There has to be another way.

“Isn’t there another choice? Some other way to end your servitude? I’m a magic user, there’s got to be something here that could help us.” You gesture vaguely around the basement, to the stacks of crates and the exhibits draped with plastic to keep the dust and the moisture off.

“If there is, I do not know of it.” Though her voice is measured as always, you catch a hint of desperation there, and anger. “If you do not help me, I doubt they will punish me for your death. Despite what you have said, they may yet keep their word.”
You feel the color drain from your face, struggling to keep your expression neutral. Sounds like Strega isn’t exactly the kindly grandmother sort you took her for at first.

“What can you tell me about the guards?” You ask after a moment’s pause, intentionally shifting the subject away.

“My master is taller, but thinner than the other. His hair is dark. Other summons are close, but not likely to find you in the stairwell so long as you are quick and do not allow him time to call out. He is not strong. The other is different. People do as he says, though he is small. I do not know if this is some other magic, or if he is the leader. Both carry a gun, but I have never seen them used. This is all I have been able to tell from watching them.”
You think for another few moments, trying to come up with some other option, but nothing seems to present itself.

He's done it. Balthaza has dominated Malheur, your once great continent is under the oppressive fist of a maniacal warlock. Every race that once dotted this vast land has either been subjugated or exterminated, you fought back, tried to lead your kin in rebellion only to face genocide. You were left alive along with others, a reminder of what rebellion rewards. But you feel the red hot chains unwrap from your arms and legs and a cooling wave of healing energy wash over you.

"Rise. Once great leaders, you have an audience with the Man-God Balthaza." Says some sort of abhorrent being with tar black skin and deep set wrinkles.

You manage to rise to your knees as the massive face of Balthaza covers the wall across from you.

"FAILED LEADERS. WOULD BE REBELS. DEFEATED FOES. I GROW BORED OF YOUR ETERNAL TORTURE AND THE PEACE IN MY LANDS. I DESIRE CONFLICT, ANARCHY, AND DEATH. SO I OFFER YOU NOW A CHOICE. The others give no hesitation in agreeing to join, you find yourself nodding yes as well. A flash of blue energy temporarily blinds you as you now find yourself in a large wooden box almosy, surrounding you are 10 of your kind.

Your name is Haskell, son of Sven. A young Norse man of about seventeen, and heir to a family that has long since begun spiralling, and a farm that has been fallow for too long. A father who lost most of his hand raiding, a mother who took ill on a sickness brought back on the longships, and a brother who’s entire raiding party hasn’t been heard from in six months, presumed lost to the sea.

That’s turning around. A local priest explained the recurring dream you’d been having: prophetic in nature, a way for Odin to let you know you’d been chosen as a Paladin, a champion of his religion along with your three oldest friends. Unfortunately, neither him nor anyone else of his pantheon can contact you until you find the mythical Atlas of the Conqueror. It was last held by Charlemagne, as is rumored to be somewhere on mainland Europe. That doesn’t matter so much, though. They say you don’t find the Atlas; it finds you when it thinks you’re ready for the vast responsibility it places on your shoulders.

“Guess you just need to learn to throw them better,” Erik snaps back, a sly grin resting on his lips. Saxi’s bout of laughter gets cut short, leaving the empty mead hall quieter than you ever remember it being.

“Argue quieter,” Leif moans from the next table over, trying to hide his head deeper into the crook of his elbow, where even the dim candle light in the tavern can’t bother him.

“No,” young Atli says looking over with a little bit of distaste in his eyes. “You got beat like a bitch, and now you get to deal with it like a grown man. Take your lumps, Leif.”

The slumped man murmurs something that you imagine was some sort of threat of violence, but he raises no more concerns about the topic at hand, or the volume at which it is discussed.

You let the conversation continue for a while as you examine the mead hall in a state you rarely see it - empty. It’s a lot bigger in here when the tables aren’t packed, and the sitting area is probably twenty yards wide, and a time and a half as long. The tables and chairs are study, non-decorative thing made from some dark hardwood, though time and a village of drunken vikings have taken their toll, and it’s nearly impossible to tell which. Antlers and old weapons line the walls, as well as a few paintings of different scenes. A couple, you notice, are done by Astrid’s careful hand. The better ones, it seems like. Astrid should really look into selling more, she could probably make quite a coffer out of them if she chose.

You’re brought out of your inner thinkings by a lull in the conversation, the sudden silence taking you by surprise. Now would be a good time to slip out if you chose, or bring up a new idea to talk about.

What is EDQ: A huge quest dedicated to CONQUERING THE WORLD AND BEYOND, with long and YUGE character sheets, a highly lustful dragon who's just as brilliant as often as he is inappropriate and morally bankrupt, who has taken over most of Europe and is totally not a closet nazi, and with a drunken QM half of the time.

Last time on EDQ, we led a revolt against Vlad Tepes for some nice public relations, and Claw and Pragius got some screen time. Claw being the autistic fucktard he is went from nonchalantly autistic to "seek help now" autistic, then back again. Sort of. Pragius meanwhile has a slightly burned mane and is pissed off.

After the last of the human defenders flees the field of battle, you and Claw reconvene near the palace to decide your next course of action.

Personally, you feel like taking a nap on something, but bond by your oath of CHIVALRY, you won't sleep until your job is done!
Of course, now you think about how to take over the palace... But your body does feel a bit weak. You decide to slump down next to a building until you feel a bit better, while Claw absorbs a car or something to digest.
You also are curious to where your noble liege has gone off to. What would make him so busy or what would be so urgent that he would leave you and Claw?

Welcome to Mischief Managed: A Marauders Era Quest. You wrinkle your nose at the thought of working in the greenhouse. “Go on without me. I’d rather stay clean today.” you tell Rowan. He sighs, mumbling “Wimp” as he slings his pack over his shoulder. “See ya at dinner” he says as he walks out the door, disappearing from view. You follow suit, walking in the opposite direction. The castle is feels empty as you walk through it, giving you an odd feeling.You decide to make good use of your day off and begin walking towards the library to study for your upcoming exams.. You arrive without any disturbance. As you enter, Madam Pince looks up from her desk, giving you a stern look before she recognizes your face. She gives you a small smile then goes back to her work. Ever since the day Remus got sick while you both were in the library, she's treated you ever so slightly better than most students. Though she’d still probably kill you if you hurt one of her precious books.


Not wanting to waste time, you walk to the Transfiguration Section. You’re not terrible at it, but Merlin knows you could learn several things. You find a large tome that seems to cover most of the basics and pull it from the shelf. You sit on the ground, opening the book up as you do so. You sit like that for a while, trying your hardest to review the things you’ve been having trouble with. During your readings, you begin to grasp the fact that Transfiguration is a tricky magic that relies a lot on intent and visualization. If you believe you can change the object, that helps aid in actually changing said object. Though actual spellwork and magical ability are still the most important. Letting out a sigh and rubbing your eyes, you stand up to go find a more comfortable area to sit at than the floor. You take a couple steps when your hear on the other side of the bookshelf two hushed voices talking.


“James, James I fuckin’ found it! Read this line.” you hear the voice of Sirius Black voice hiss out. You stand still, slightly curious as to what the Gryffindor’s are up to. You hear James mumble out the line Sirus is talking about, but you're too far away to hear what he says. James lets out an excited yelp and you jump a little. Madam Pince probably heard that too. Won’t be long until she comes over to reprimand the boys. But it doesn't seem like they’re going to stick around, as you hear them shove a book back into the shelf quickly and run off, their footsteps louder than usual in the empty library.

Gryffindors are weird.

Mecha Dogboy is lost in a deep and dark demon's den.

What seemed like a simple straight staircase down has turned into an unforgiving labyrinth.

You're almost certain that the succubus who led you inside had this kind of trickery in mind.

You stand at a crossroads now, all suspended in an unnatural darkness. There's a concrete staircase leading upwards, a makeshift wooden ramp leading downwards, or a set of precarious pillars leading to parts unknown.

What do you do?

While apparently long and slender, the pillars seem sturdy enough. Dogboy carefully hops from pillar to pillar, using a combination of canine prowess and mechanical gyros to nail each landing. The pillars vary greatly in size and distance, some requiring a small step, others a daring bound. Dogboy manages nonetheless.

After following this path for a few minutes, Dogboy sees a small light in the distance. The pillars end at one much larger column, the plateau of which is illuminated by a small table lamp. Next to it sits a SIMPLETON, alive but rather lethargic in his mannerisms.

He seems completely unaware of the large amount of FLAYED SKIN protruding from his back.

Oh shit nigger it's a /qst/ adventure thing. That I'm pretty sure I saw someone did before and I'm ripping them off but I can't remember the name so I can't credit them. Yea.

4 persons form an adventuring party in a nondescript generic fantasy land.
Each chacacter needs at least 1 player to be the voices in their head to tell them what to do n shit.

Just give yourself a name with the character's team color to identify which person you belong to. Ex: "Red Faggot"
Currently the party is exploring an ancient tomb that turned out to be a secret bandit base. Now they need to defeat the bandits so they can get what they were looking for: phat loot.

Here we take on the role of the control room from cabin in the woods. The stable is full, the gods have their popcorn and we got snuff to make.

Instead you will be trying to guide him to kill in order of the ritual. The rules are that [THE WHORE] must die first and [THE VIRGIN] must either be a lone survivor or die last.

The gods like some titties so bonus points if the whore fucks someone or strips before dying.

We have 4 departments: Intelligence, Demolition, Technology and Chem.

Tech: Control all the shutting and locking of doors, lights and even the survivors phones!

Chem: Get people horny? Make people dumb? Make comfy survivors sleep? YA BOYS IN THE LAB GOTCHU!

Demo: Blow shit up? They arrive by boat? BOOM! Arrive by car, BLOW THE TUNNEL/BRIDGE! These guys aren't allowed to dirnk until the ritual is done for obvious reasons.

Intel: Gotta scout the survivors to know which order to kill them in. Plus know thy enemy.
