[Jatu] (Include progress)
The lumbermill in the northern outpost was completed. Those celebrating the completion of the lumbermill check the surrounding area for food and found a delicious snack (+2 truffles). The Jatu begin to dig a hole in the ground to get stone (1/7 complete).
>Gained Lumbermill +1 wood/turn
[Prosperian Union]
The training goes well, they have learned which end of the crossbow you point with. (Training 1/3). The dwarves laugh as they chop down the trees, enjoying the ocasional beer (Lumbermill 2/6 complete). The Prosperian Union expanded their territory and found a neighboring Valley.
[Ibowell]
The army smashed the slaves into submission. The memory of the turnaround in the battle will be imprinted into the goblin's memories for generations. (Recovered population went to restoring army, No chance of Slave revolt for the next 5 turns). Today's religious practices were interrupted by a goblin who had learned to make farting noises with his armpit (No progress). The bodies of the slain rebels made excellent fertilizer for the herb garden. (Herb Farm 3/6 complete)
[Dro'kahla]
The limestone mine goes well despite the earth shaking (3/6 complete). The Dro'kahla territory has expanded into a trenched area. In this area were creatures with natural Bio-luminescence and a great coral reef (+3 coral, +1 Bio-luminescence essence)

Nation Name: Dro'kahla
Race(s): Naga
Color: Green
Fluff: From the depths the Naga were born. Clawing their way from ignorance in search for the light of truth. They learned to create tools, to forge ores in the volcanic vents to create metal weapons, and to build their cities and temples upon the sea floor and continental shelves. Tribes were formed, warred with each other, and eventually fell to the Dro'khala and became united. New temples to the sun god, Ano, and the dark god, Shia, were built grander than ever. Now with the death of the old king and the rise of his son the kingdom sets it's sight on greater heights and new lands.

Eccentricities:
[Aquatic]: Life under the sea has brought the Naga much freedom. Thus land expansion is easier and sea movement is much faster (2x through water tiles, can travel on water without tech). Unfortunately, this makes them ill-equipped to deal with land (1/2 land movement, suffer attrition on land, can't develop boat tech on own)

Nation Name: Jatu
Race(s): Humans
Color: White
Fluff: Born on the steppe plains, the Jatu people spent most of their early years as tribal nomads, moving from place to place across the plains. However, as their numbers grew, the idea of putting down roots and building a unified city became ever more enticing as they felt they could grow no stronger as the individual, scattered tribes they were at the time. Masters of the horse, the Jatu are said to practically be born in the saddle with lance in hand, as they made good use of the native horses on the plains during their nomadic periods, and continued to put them to use as their nation grew. Believers of strength in any and all forms, they view any kind of weakness as a disease and sin, one that most be purged from the world before it can fester. Those who cease trying to improve, or grow complacent with their lot, are viewed as enemies and are treated without the slightest shred of mercy.

The Ironblood Clan of Kelgorath is comprised of some of dwarvenkind's best miners and smiths and the Silverbeard Clan of Valtheim prides itself in its crafts and inventions. The dwarves of the Oakenhammer Clan, based in Oakenhall, are excellent carpenters and masons, and the Shieldsworn Clan from Monadheim is known for being fearless sellswords and mercenaries. Together, these clans hope to make a great merchant empire that will be known throughout the world. The Prosperian Union is a republic where the chiefs of the four clanhalls meet in the capitol city of Gladsheim, which is also the center of trade.

You think about the protection you need. You’re an engineer, you don’t need much. “I’ll need a full body of polymer.” The Sresh looks at you carefully before his face lightens, “Of course, that’ll be 600 credits. I’ll just need to take your measurements. It’ll be delivered to your ship by tomorrow, only the best for my customers.” The next ten minutes or so is nothing but surface scans. Before you leave he hands you a receipt for proof of purchase.
One hundred credits is what you have to your name now. It used to be that you had millions, but now things are different. The ship is fairly quiet right now, even for the crew being absent. You’re leaving tomorrow for who knows how long. And god knows what the crew is going to be hired for next. The wound you had on your leg is almost completely healed. You might as well enjoy the rest of the day by doing something.

Oh shit nigger it's a /qst/ adventure thing. That I'm pretty sure I saw someone did before and I'm ripping them off but I can't remember the name so I can't credit them. Yea.
4 persons form an adventuring party in a nondescript generic fantasy land.
Each person needs at least 1 player to be the voices in their head to tell them what to do n shit.
Just give yourself a name with the character's team color to identify which person you belong to. Ex: "Red Faggot"
Again, need at least one player for each dude.
So we can move onto character creation

I open the door to the Garage we bought to use for our Dark sky initiative activities, closing it behind me as I turn the lights on with a wave of my hand, posters of the Golden guard and other heroes lining the "Living" half of the building. There's a few pages from comics hanging near them, and when I walk up to them I see they're depicting my and Cyra's first meeting....did I really look that silly dressed up like that? Sitting up on top of a building with my laser rifle? Chrome meows and hopes onto the desk covered in paper work, a half empty pizza box and an empty soda bottle. The mechanical cat's eyes light up as it scans the room.
...was cyra really thinking that grimly at the time? I'm glad me, mimi and rasputin showed up when we did. Hmm, she's probably at school right now, so she can't help me with this problem I have for a while longer, and she can't see that I'm stressing out and try to help...meaning I'm have a nice quite place to think here.
Smiling I sit down on the couch and jolt when it moves under me.My heart stops for a second. Leaping up back up, I turn around and see Emi curled up in a ratty red blanket, her face scrunched up with discomfort in an almost child like way.
"Sorry" I say quietly, as I pull the blanket a bit straighter, and walk away from her little hovel, and into the garage, walking past a double sized poster of a group called the "Ruby riders"
the door is open, and the garage floor is cold, the soft whirring of the computers I built here breaking the silence as I walk in, and turn the lights on, while turning the one's in emi's "Room" off.
Perfect, I think as I look around the mostly barren garrage floor, sitting down in the center of it and crossing my legs as I close my eyes and sigh. The gears in my head begin to turn
Perfect, the best place I can find to get the silence I need to reflect and think about...think about the mess I'm in. HOW DID I END UP IN A SITUATION LIKE THIS, I've been thinking about it since the day I met with Diane smile, just thinking about her makes me feel cold. I shiver...no no, that's just this room. Still I don't like how she acts. Its off putting and down right intimidating when she's acting "Friendly", but she can easily be a terror. Why would someone smile while telling you that you would get beaten to a pulp...she doesn't seem human.
I sigh, and regather my composure. I don't have time to waste being worried and nervous, I need to solve this problem of mine within an hour or so. The scheduled time of Emily Smiles and my "meeting", and her planned debut as a supervillain. Even to me it feels...unnatural. But that isn't what is causing me to be stressed, oh no I am perfectly fine with...this acting thing.

I might not be good at pretending or creating falsehoods, but I am not worried that I can't
at least be somewhat of an actor. No that isn't what's troubling me, the conundrum I face is of Emily smiles herself.
"MRooow?" Chrome meows, patting my leg as he sense my increased heart rate
"I'm fine little one" I say, scratching it behind the ears to ease its worried program "Just a little worried"
That is not the right word for this situation, terrified might be better but a little too strong I think. Now I don't know what kind of girl she is, but from how Moriarty spoke of her, I am led to believe she is quite dangerous.
Since he seemed actually scared of her powers, and he didn't show a hint of fear when he stared down me and rasputin and has no qualms with threatening Ultras like normal people. I thought it was just his general rude attitude, but he seemed like he was scared for me when he explained exactly what Emily could do.
Which was surprising, but not as much as finding him sitting in the apartment's shower when I went into it this morning. I still feel...dirty and on edge by that little shock.
But in short, I am going to have to at least pretend to stop someone who can control reality itself as easily as I can control machines. Which to me seems like a function a human cannot preform, no matter how much ultra they have.
And I am going to be...on the receiving end of that impossible ability. Very soon. And I need to try and help her break free from her mother's yoke. And Moriarty didn't tell me if he yet her in on our little plan.
My heart is beating far faster than it should, and chrome's comfort protocols aren't helping.
What do I do?

Ah, it looks like you’re about to die. The most feared predator of the modern world, the stealthy 18-wheeler, is currently barreling toward you at a speed you’re about to find incredibly painful. It’s looking to claim two more victims, first the pink haired girl in front of you and then you soon after.
And to think a few minutes ago, you were walking down the sidewalk, unsuspecting as ever. The first day of high school starts today for you, and it’s at Tetsuyashi Academy of the Psionic Arts. If the uniform wasn’t enough proof, the emblem on your chest would be. It’s the school for the best and brightest of the North, and it would be a lie to say you weren’t a bit nervous.
Suddenly from your left came a shout, “Watch out!”
You turned just in time to see a ball of fluff—no wait, a puppy—leap into the air, graze your blazer, and run off. A girl in a uniform like yours followed right after, the ribbon on headband flapping in the wind.
She cried out, “Give me back my badge!”
Your hand patted your chest instinctively. Oh. Oh no.
“You’ve gotta be kidding me,” you said.
Scrambling forward, you quickly caught up right in the middle of a street crossing. It was about partway through you realized the light had changed. The sound of the airhorn helped.
A sure fate—if you two weren’t psions.
In a fraction of a second in the corner of your eye, you see her pupils light up an unnatural cyan. Her psi messily moves into action, along with the expression on her face, gives you a nice telltale sign of someone’s who’s about to do something they’re going to regret.
You know from experience.

Sorry to shatter your dreams, but MC's not a girl.
Welcome to the second chapter of the Traveler Saga.
In this quest, we follow the travels of Tristain Vale, a young traveler from a small town in the Midlands. We follow him as he travels through exotic lands filled with magic and wonder. We follow him as he learns the legends, songs, and stories of different lands. We follow him as he comes across great heroes and monstrous villains, strange beasts and stranger people. We follow him as he travels to lands no man has ever traveled to before.

In the last chapter, you began your travel to the dark forests of the Northeast - a place called the Land of Warlocks, a place said to be inhabited by pale men with silver hair and red pupils. You left your hometown after saying goodbye to your uncle, carrying only your grandfather's old lute on your back. Before you left, you promised your childhood best friend, Kathy, that you would return to your hometown, someday.
You began traveling with a group led by Kilven - a burly merchant on his way to the Northeast. You also befriended an eccentric old gleeman named Thom O'Avelyn, who once knew your grandfather and promised to teach you more about the lute. That night, you sat next to the campfire as Thom began telling a story - a tale of adventurers lost in the plague-ridden jungles of the Green Hell.
Current Items: 12 Gold, Old Lute, Plain Clothes, Travelling Cloak, Salted Meat, and Steel Dagger.
Meta:The first few posts will contain a story-within-a-story largely unconnected to the main quest. This is mostly for worldbuilding right now, but some parts might be explored later.
>>1094952
A murmur grows around the campfire as different voices suggested different stories.
Alahain lost in the Green Hell!, you shout after a moment of thought.
"Alahain, huh?", Thom says in a thoughtful voice, "One of the younger tales – but set in a land as old as time itself".
Thom’s eyes swept over his audience as he began in the booming voice of a gleeman, "Sit and listen. Listen for I will speak of Alahain the adventurer. Listen for I will speak of the wonders he found in the land of plagues. Listen for I will speak of a savage land, centuries and miles away..."
>>1094956
Once upon a time, there was a young man named Alahain. He was born in the midlands – a land where the men were civilized, where the beasts were tamed, where magic was long gone.
Alahain found life in the midlands too safe, too mundane, too ordinary. For you see, Alahain was anything but ordinary. His heart called to the savage lands – the lands that were still unexplored, uncharted, and untamed.
So Alahain traveled thousands of miles to the southwest. To the damp plague-ridden jungles men call the Green Hell. Where wild men and savage beasts still walk among the ruins of forgotten cities – cities more ancient than the race of men, cities built by the Great Old Ones who came from the stars.
The green hell is an enormous jungle, most of it unexplored by the so-called civilized men of the midlands. Explorers who delve too deep in the jungle seldom return – the few who does return claim that it is a land with no end. Sailors from the western ports have also tried to reach the bottom of the jungle using sea routes – their bravest efforts always resulting in disastrous failures.
Centuries ago, the Dragon Empire tried to colonize the green hell as well. The emperor lusted after the fabled emeralds, moonstones, and other treasures said to be hidden deep within the jungles. Slaves and sorcerers were brought from the east to build colonies deep within the jungle. Four such colonies were born from the emperor’s greed – all of which withered and died after a few agonizing years.
>>1094966
Kishir, the first colony of the dragon empire, was destroyed by the wild men of the jungle. These wild men came from a place called Opar – where the males are large brutes covered in coarse black hair, where the females are as beautiful as new-fallen snow.
Amaan, the second colony, was abandoned after half of its people died from the blood fever. The rest were killed by the savage beasts of the jungle – giant apes that can kill an elephant with one blow, monstrous striped lizards that can rip a man apart with their razor-sharp claws, snakes fifty feet tall that can swallow a horse whole.
Obyn, the third colony, met its grisly end soon after. The slaves of this colony rose in rebellion against their brutal masters. The masters were better armed and better trained – but they were few where the slaves were many. In the end, the colony died out in an orgy of blood and flames.
Geen, the fourth colony, lingered on for the longest. It was an evil place, ruled by blood sorcerers sent by the dragon emperor himself. The sorcerers devised brutal methods of torture – to keep the slaves obedient as well as to amuse themselves. Blood magic of the most perverse kind was practiced in its flesh pits. The less said about this accursed place, the better.

Shinobi Quest #58
This quest takes place within the lands of the Five Great Shinobi Nations (aka Narutoverse) starting roughly around the beginning of the original series. The world of this quest remains similar to the original, with slight but notable differences in certain areas, based upon the passage of time from a single slightly altered event.
(It’s a goddamn Naruto Quest, you bastards. Have fun, participate, and write in when you feel inclined. Most of the outcomes of this quest will be determined by you, the players. Critiques and questions are always welcome, as my knowledge of the weeby shit is not all encompassing.)

Last Thread, Tsuki Norihime was introduced to Toneri Otsutsuki, last of the line of Hamura Otsuktsui, descendant of Kaguya, and Lord of the Moon. After staying with him for a time, Tsuki decided that he could not be reasoned with regarding the status of Kaguya's worshipers, and opted to take matters into her own hands. Fleeing, she left a note and token for the young boy, before taking a nasty spill into the sea below.
Heading towards where the rabbits should be, she quickly ran into one of their forward scouts- Akuto, a Hunter and Genjutsu user. Falling prey to his genjutsu and failing to reason with him, Tsuki did the unthinkable: surrendering herself into his custody. Taken before the rabbit's matriarch, the one known as Grandmother, Tsuki began to tell her tale to an unfriendly audience....

Your party has been hired to clear out the dungeons terrorizing the fair kingdom of Lateria!
While your gang of ragtag mercenaries and adventurers alike come from different lands and such, you're glad to help the fair kingdom, for god, glory, and gold.
Speaking of which, you four are all...
(Read the doc, and submit a race/class combination to take part in our party! Give some backstory, appearance, etc, if you wish.)
They warn you of the three territories taken and make vile by these evil subterranean lairs...
An island, once icy, has now become scorched earth by the lizardmen who inhabited the volcanos above and below. You'll need special instruments to brave the heat, and an even more special crew to brave the evils on the active island. They tell you the leader of the lizardmen is something gargantuan... and hard to crack.
A forest, once lush, has now become a deathly and desolate plains. While some bare trees lie here and there, even more skeletons and other unholy beings lie around, either moping or brainlessly ravaging what villages lie around still. They tell you the leader of the unholy is something disgusting... and smooth.
A coastline, once beautiful, has now become filled with vicious fauna and flora. Jungle has overrun the land, while mutated creatures have overrun the beach. They tell you the leader of the animals lies within an underwater cavern... and is nearly invincible.
You take their forward payment of 100 gold, and give thanks. The party convenes, and you all agree to take the quest to take back the region of...

General rules:
There is a 10 minute voting period after each post. Non-contradictory votes will be combined as best as possible.
Write-ins for all votes are always welcome and encouraged. They may not all make it into the post or be altered to fit in, but I'll do my best to at least try to address the spirit of the write-in.
Very important or contentious votes may be redone in a stricter voting system as circumstances warrant.
Combat mechanics involve three rolls of 1d100, taking the best, and using the base accuracy and crit ranges of the game, roughly, but the 'turn order' will be more like the anime, where sometimes you can do a few moves in a row or be hit by a combo of moves yourself, all depending on circumstances. Stronger moves tend to take more time and have more cooldown than weaker moves, so beware of that timing. Speed is more important for closing ground, intercepting, and other things and doesn't necessarily mean going first.
Call me out on a mistake and receive a suggestive picture, mostly likely a butt.

You are a young maiden, pure and innocent, whether of noble or lowly birth, you are undeniably one of the most beautiful in the land. and recently, you caught the eye of a Dark Lord, who lusted after you and claimed you as his own.
> Which Dark Lord claimed you?
> Barbarian Chieftain Orthurg Bloodgnasher, a fearsome warlord. Half-giant, half-orc, he towers above all he meets, and with only his strength and his ax, he rose to become the chieftain of a vile horde made up of every beast and monster imaginable. With his brutal cunning and cunning brutality, he slayed every man, elf, dwarf, and foe who dared oppose him, and came to rule the southern continent. Satisfied with his empire, Orthurg has decided to reap the benefits of rule, and his eyes fell on you.
> Dread Knight Venkalth Zorandir, a dangerous man whose skill with the blade is matched only by his infamous reputation. The spawn of a legendary arch-demon and a mighty warrior-priestess, he has demonic powers of shadow, flame, and agony, and unmatched skill-at-arms. Wielding his blade of damnation and his full-plate armor of devouring, he gathered a vast army and waged war against the kingdoms of man, coming to rule the northern continent. Content to rest and recuperate for a century or two, Venkalth has grown bored with rule, and came to desire a companion, you fit the bill.
> Ancient Wizard Batlhaghast The Grand, a being so ancient and powerful, it is said the Gods themselves fear his wrath. Unrivaled in his arcane mastery, he has completely lost his mortality, and is changes form at will, a deity in all but name, he has perfected the arcane arts and his will is nigh-omnipotent. In his millennia of study, he has created countless horrible monsters, nightmarish plagues, and unholy constructs that have ravaged the land since time immemorial. In his black tower, he has lost all interest in his impersonal experiments, and has decided to indulge his mortal desires on one worthy of his touch, his divination spells came up with you.

> ancient wizard guy
> young human male called Sammy
The wizard wanted someone he could go on adventures with. Buddy moments abound in the zany adventures Bal the undercover wizard and Sammy the future hero of justice.
You watch as the small square sails plum out and the boat drift away with its six crew members. You stand still in the crowd which you tower over. A beacon of impurity. After several minutes of watching the wooden bead slowly drift into the dense fog the crowd disperses and the day slowly edges onward. It marches along to the constant rhythmic hammering of nails or the footsteps of workers repairing and preparing the ship's hull and cargo while cleaning the ever-present mess below. Often you let your mind wonder and you constantly think not in a worried fashion but of unchained curiosity of what is to come. Every now and then your thoughts are stopped as people would ask you to help carry something too heavy or to help tie off a rope which would be too high for them. Although it is rather annoying and tedious you still find enjoyment through working with your hands something which was stolen from you while kept away reading endless tomes.
Footsteps ring outside of your door early in the morning which causes you to wake up earlier than you're used to. You quickly leave your own bed to investigate. You notice that the cot Lilissa slept in before is still here before you exit into a small crowd of murmuring tieflings looking curiously at the sea. Since the departure of Janne the sun set and rose once before people began to stir about seeing a small lantern out on the right side of the ship or the starboard as some of the older tieflings who sailed once call it. The slowly drifting light in the distance gets closer by the minute before you begin to hear the water splash against wood as it cuts through. You first see the front of the ship before you hear the crackling of fire. Several gasps are heard and a few start to yell as the pyre slowly gains distance.
You were uncertain it was your own ship before you spotted the crudely inscribed elk head. Quickly the tieflings lift the anchor with your help allowing yourselves to move out of the burning monument and let it pass by harmlessly. You are certain those who were on the ship were killed. There are those who begin to call for revenge.

>[B] "We cannot afford to lose any more time nor can we afford the lives."
>[C] "They will be remembered and in due time they will be avenged."
