What's your favorite motor /o/? Why?
>I've always had a thing for the "classic" V6
The LS platform

Nice, have you done much work on them? Or just enjoy the driving experience?
literally the best engine ever invented
>Speeding in and out of traffic
>Doing your own thing
>Notice a sports car following behind trying to get close to you
>Why do they do this?
>>17673757
They don't like the idea of anyone, especially someone in an econobox passing them.
>>17673757
Because they're trying to have fun.
You don't like speeding buddies?
If you ever drive across country you'll find speeding lines you can hop into that'll take you through traffic.
Every time I've ever been in one and police come they've just got behind every car for a few seconds, then pulled over the lead alone.
>>17673776
I think its weird, I have a fast car and I'm cruising for me, than I notice some faggot speeding up and trying to keep up with me and play catch or something, I'm like nigga just leave me alone
What's the Chad of cars?
Probably the Dodge Challenger in general
>big bulky frame
>sounds loud so it lets everyone know when it arrives
>usually bought by family's that have an insane amount of money (hence chads being rich)

And there goes the thread
I need a sports car that doesnt attract gold diggers.
Is there any sports car that doesnt?
I just want a car thats fun to drive
I don't think you're in danger of attracting anyone no matter what car you buy anon, don't worry about it.

I just got my first close to new car and I'm taking it out on a road trip to celebrate in the next couple weeks. I'm going to be cruising at a relatively high rate of speed on our great American highway system and I'm looking for any tips or tricks you guys can offer me. I like you guys and I appreciate the work you do, except when you kill my driving buzz.
Help a guy out, please?
Don't pretend y'all don't lurk here, either. I know a lot of you are car guys just as much as the rest of us.
Thank you in advance.

Gee that was easy.

How was it? I have a Mustang GT now but this car's so shit I was thinking about an Accord coupe V6.
Can I put my jackstands under this part right here?
Just use a block and tackle on that tractor
>>17685234
No. You will bend the tabs in and fuck up the joint.
>>17685359
Where can I put the in the rear? The frame is way too low in this car
Hey br/os, can some of you guys who live in snowy areas give me some advice?
>be me
>from california
>moving to chicgo IL
>never had any experience owning a car in the snow
>can wrench and maintain car, but im on limited supplies since im moving out
>I drive fwd chevy malibu
>never driven cross country
Can anyone who live in snowy areas give me some advice? I've been researching chicagos snow and parking laws, and im pretty north so I'll be fine with that.
What do i do before the winter to maintain my car? I know the basic shit, like to change my radiator fluid and put snow tires on, but what else should i do?
>also
How is it driving cross country? I'll drive once in the summer and twice in the winter via I-80
>inb4 fwd meme
>inb4 GM is shit meme
Make sure your wiper fluid is either drained or winter-compatible. Put gun oil in your locks.
Driving in the winter is fine, just keep your speed low, especially in corners and watch out when merging: the grooves of slush, ice and snow tires make on the road can be really slippery.
>>17685158
That doesn't make sense to me, why do snow tires make the road slippery? Shouldn't they do the exact opposite?
>>17685175
They're for driving through snow, not wet pavement/road that has snow nearby
How did Japan do it? How did they make their supercars so goddamn heavy? The Viper and Corvette are 500 lbs less!
still slower
>>17685123
>7:03 is slower than 7:08
>>17685123
Yes, they are slower than their American competition. I'm asking why a car with a 3.7L V6 is heavier than one with an 8.4L V10
*Blocks your path*
>>17685115
What the fuck is that?
>>17685125
Bicycle bar. Bunch of roasties pedal around town while drinking and acting like obnoxious cunts
>>17685125
An abomination.
Does anyone one this board actually own an electric car?
>>17684946
Go to /g/ and /b/
Why do you ask?
Doesnt someone own a (fucking) Leaf?
I think the Volt and Bolt are pretty good and aren’t meme taxed like Teslas and BMWs
>go to local at meet
>the handful of girls there all hover around the guy with GT-R
>not a single girl comes up to your shitbox
>only person that interacts with you the entire time is some mexicanbro
>tfw

Nigger, be happy he's got a cool car, not jealous of the attention he gets.

you will always be unhappy

>Doesn't know what an ef9 SiR is.
Hey guys I'm thinking about trading in my car with a massive cam in it and straight pipes.
How much do you think this would affect trade in value?
Dealers don't want modded cars, period. Anything like that they'd send to the shithouse auction lot. You won't get much trade value. Much better to sell it to someone who wants a hotrod.
>>17684559
The issue is I just moved and the bank that I bank with that has the title still is about 2 hours away now
>>17684574
What's that have to do with anything? Pay off the loan and the title will be yours.
