This is my mk4 fiesta, the visuals look absolutely disgusting but it has been the most reliable car in my family by far, about 250k km on it already

My new daily driver; maximum comfy.
What if:
>make a rotary engine build
>instal 5 rotors
>tune it so there can only be only 4 rotors working at a time so that remaining one gets to cool off
>the fresh rotor kicks in at designated time letting one rotor chill
>cycle this and solve overheating problem
is this shit viable? I know all rotors have to be installed sequentially so that one crankshaft rotates them all but forget that, if that was not an issue would this work ?
>>17685105
Dorito is ded, let it go.
>solve overheating problem
what did he mean by this?
>>17685105
Doritos don't actually have a heating problem when they're properly cooled. Just get a 3 inch radiator and you'll be fine.
The issue with rotaries is getting them to pass emissions testing. because they burn oil in their cycles it hard to keep them as clean as a piston engine. However if mazda's compression ignition tech comes through we may see the rotary make a comeback.
TL;Dr
It's all gores fault we don't have a 4 rotor rx7 to shit on pistoncucks with

All around me are crossovers and SUVs and some minivans.
How do we make sedans the norm again?
Sedans have less cargo capacity so they are shit and you are shit for wanting them to be the norm.
Go buy a Honda sedan for 3K then drive into a bridge abutment you mongtarded piece of grabasstic amphibian shit.
>>17684297
The auto companies make a lot more money on those cars than they do on sedans.

Soo it looks like im going to end up with an automatic honda civic coupe. I think 2011... 1.8, 140 horses :/
What can i do to give it more horsepower and torque and make it quicker from a stop??140 hp is weak as fuck. (why honda do?)
I just want some extra power. A quick daily driver.
I havnt bought the car yet so maybe you guys have other car suggestions? If so, why so?
Budget is about $12k. Prefer coupe style.
>>17684155
>12k budget
>willingly going for not just a Civic but a recent auto Civic
What the FUCK is wrong with you?
>>17684155
You can be thankful someone was kind enough to give you their car.
140hp is plenty enough for a Civic. Buy a motorcycle if you want to go fast.
>>17684215
Whats the problem with recent civic?
As far as the automatic goes, i dont want a manuel anything.
What prevents car manufacturers from securing headlights with few easily accessible screws so you can quickly replace lightbulbs?
post-modernism.
>>17684154
You can make a lot more money creating something that's meant to be replaced rather than serviced or repaired.
Because it would need several screws spread over different areas of the headlight mounting to secure it properly to prevent vibration. You'd also have to make sure there could it could only be mounted in the exact same place and way again, as otherwise you'd need to recalibrate your headlight positioning after changing a bulb
I think what you'd rather want is to have more space behind the rear of the headlights, making replacing bulbs much easier

Why should I not get this as a first car?
You'll probably be in at least 1 accident in the first 5 years you start driving.... I wouldn't want to have a collision in a shit box like that . RIP
I have one. The manual version will run forever. My dad has a 2001 with 400k on he original engine and it's only had the clutch replaced once. They do have some random issues though. First, the AC will break. It happens to all of them and a new compressor is 1000 bucks. And it's hard to find the leak. But its a convertible, so who cares? Two, the alternator may also go out. It's only a 200 dollar part, but not a fun thing to fix because it takes a lot of time to and frustration to swap out. But, I love my Miata and it runs awesome. The manual is way more fun than the automatic btw.
>>17683588
It's really annoying for long trips because it sits at 4000rpm at 80mph
Also you'll have to contend with the constant
