Is the c class a good car?

Well the new one suffers from shitty modern car design. Last gen was good.

Last one was awful

I've driven them a few times. They're alright. It's kind of forgettable.

I'm not big on the styling either, but I guess that's just personal taste.

How does police jurisdiction work? Can a highway patrol officer pull you over on regular streets, and can the city police pull you over on the freeway? I've been driving for 6 months now and still don't know

Cops are cops, I wouldn't mess with technicalities. Fuck, I even slowed down to the limit while passing a Ford Ranger that was a service vehicle for a local park because it had roof lights and lettering on the side.
>>
>>15390271
yes, I was pulled over by a highway patrol on a back road because I slow rolled through a stop sign at night and got caught. Ended up getting a warning tho
>>
From what I can tell most of them can pull you over nearly anywhere, but can only issue a ticket if it's in their jurisdiction. I live in a weird area where there's a little strip that goes from city limits to unincorporated and back again, if a city cop tries to pull someone over in the city but they pull over in the unincorporated either a Sheriff or CHP gets called in. Probably varies a lot state to state too.

What is the best air freshener, and why is it black ice?

Poor fag, go poke holes in your Honda exhaust. Real car enthusiasts just keep their car clean. No fresheners required!

Nigga, I like the Pina Coloda ones. Fuck you.

Are V6's the future of performance? I mean, even F1 is moving to the god tier engine.

Hey /o/, I'm looking for my first car. I love BMWs but I also love Hondas. I recently found a '93 Civic Si hatchback (exactly like pic related). Should I buy it or should I wait until I find a nice 325i?

It's got 78k on it. My car has 130k. Only thing I saw wrong with it was some minor interior pieces.
I'm really thinking about doing it

It's tar from fresh asphalt. Buy bug&tar remover at the store and clean it off.

Hey /o/, I am pondering whether I should purchase this car or not. In my reading of reviews, opinions of this car were mixed. The overriding theme of reviews was the unreliable transmission on the automatic model, while the Jetta in this ad is a manual. The reviews for manuals on Edmunds averaged about 4-stars, while reviews for the automatic model of the car tended to fall in the 2 to 3-star range.

Thinking about offering $1200 if everything checks out, would that be a worthwhile investment?

modern ish car? non turbo? not tuned? who cares your car's computer will probably deal with it and make adjustments

even if it's a turbo and stock tune you might get a bit of knock, but it wouldn't be as bad if weather is hot, cold might knock harder. sensors and ecu shit magic tho

You should only have given yourself just enough to get you to the next gas station, not a full tank you fucking retard.

I am a huge fan of cars with long visible noses.
.
Currently driving a '87 Ford Sierra whoes nose is one of the nicest I find.

My sights are now on a Mercury Grand Marquis but since I'm Dutch these fuckers are expensive as fuck on monthly bases. Also, they are quite rare.
.
So besides the Grand Marquis is there any car with a nose like the '87 - '89 Sierra has? I am talking about no grill but just nose going all the way down to the bumper.

The dealership sent me a duplicate title for a car I traded in.

They meant to send it to themselves, but they said they accidentally sent it to my address.

Can I leverage this position at all?

do you believe in karma?
>>
>>15388870
Nope.
>>
>>15388761
No, they have all of the information they need to take you to court and not only get their title back. You'll miss work, have to hire an attorney and still lose while looking like a total dickbag and having to invest time and money (and money lost due to missing work) to attempt to fight them.

They just can't sell the car until they get the title from you.

I suppose this is a longshot, but in a few years this might become far more easy to achieve.

I would like to take some cool classic car from 70s or 80s, remove the engine, install some low powered, efficient one that would charge batteries for (a) relatively powerful electric engine(s). I think bmw i8 uses a similar system. Would something like that be achievable in near future or is it too complex to be reliable and not prohitibitively expensive?
18 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
I'm pretty sure someone already turned a Datsun Z into one of the worlds fastest electric cars.
>>
Electric is easy, hybrid is much tougher
>>
for what reason?
batteries are still heavy and a few years off from being efficient.

Are z4 coupes decent cars? Is the electronic steering really that bad? I'm between one and a 128i with the same engine and similar weight, both 6mt. What would you do senpai
17 posts and 8 images submitted.
>>
Both are really kind of numb and pigfat to drive both from actually driving them and knowing someone who's going to sell their Z4 to buy another Z3.

I'd recommend one of I6 Z3s or an E92 personally.
>>
>>15388733
Damn I haven't driven one but I would have assumed a 128i wouldn't feel worse than a e92

Are you sure. I drive pic related and the steering isn't terrific either. The rack is so damn slow. The feel is pretty good, though.
