>Window Tint fix it
>Cited for not having proof of valid insurance b/c it was on my USAA app on my phone
>Speeding
>1436.00 Bail. WTF
If I complete my fixit tickets in CA, will I still have to pay fines? Thanks.
>>15391635
>too much tint, in a wrx
>speeding, in a wrx
>wrx
those cars are like police magnets. you basically asked for this shit.
>>15391635
>his state doesn't allow electronic insurance cards
Unfortunate
If I remove the tint and show valid insurance, I know there is a dismissal fee, but are there any additional fines? I will plead not guilty to speeding, b/c fuck the law. Also,

If you lived in Houston and had a budget of $3,000 to buy yourself a good manual tranny daily, what would you get?
The only things you'll be transporting in it are yourself, your dog (medium sized), and the occasional illegal to the nearest back alley to be shot.
Buy a Civic and shut the fuck up
(Seriously, get a Civic around 00-05)
>>15391450
here, you dropped this OP
>>15391456
96-00 civics are actually more reliable than the newer ones
I'm not a mechanic but I'd love to get into it. What's a fun Daily Driver that is easy to repair or restore? Dirt cheap would be a plus but anything under 10k would be awesome.
>>15391269
Any civic coupe/hatchback from 1989-2000
Civic, Corolla, Golf up to MkIII (MkIV is where the overcomplication starts)
>>15391276

This. And yeah fuck MkIV. My Jetta was a mess.
Why is it so mad
Why is it so fat

It will compete with the Ford GT
Much shorter than a c7
>>15391159
>"compete"
Sure, if you count last place as competing.
But the Corvette is already mid engined.
Should I buy this 1983 Porsche 944 thats for sale in my town?
Let me give you the rundown
>Complete car all original
>no undercarriage rust
>not running
>good restoration project
>its been stored in a garage
>clean title
>7200 miles.
but if i could fix whatever is wrong with it I could either DD or just make some profit.
should I pull the trigger fagg/o/ts?
I still need to see it in person to verify how clean it actually is.
oh I forgot the most important part.
The price.
>$1k obo.
>>15391063
No way that's a 7200 mile car.
Don't try to DD a 944.
Hey /o/ I'm having trouble finding what type of plug the is. It's on my motorhome, can anyone help me out? Thanks
That's power for big amps when you play concerts outside ur caper.
>>15390929
Do you know where I can buy the male plug for it?
>>15390955
I would expect any motorhome or trailer park would have those plugs

What kinds of mistakes did you make when first learning to work on cars?
>bleeding clutch line
>I've done the same thing with the brakes a bunch of times what could go wrong
>Tell sister to press clutch pedal until i say so
>open the valve and close it after the air is out
>clutch pedal sticks to floor
>panic
Call my dad and he tells me I bled the wrong valve. I opened the line from the master cylinder side and emptied the whole thing.
>>15390547
>buy front brake pads for JEEP
>wrong size
>hammer them into caliper because don't want to make another trip to store
>one actually works, the other sticks
>burning smell every time I drive
>goes away after 2 weeks
all is well
>first time changing the oil on dry sump car
>put in 8qts, start car, add a bit more til it's on the dipstick
>go drive it to heat it up all the way, get back to shop, oil level is perfect
>go to move the car a few hours later
>huge cloud of burning oil smoke
What had happened is I put too much in at once when I first filled the tank, some got into the vent tube that goes to the airbox, but it took a while to make it through the air filter. Not the end of the world but I thought I had fucked up something completely.
>me in HS
>just finished building a 1776cc engine for my baja bug
>has a remote oil cooler in the roof scoop
>I drive it to the local parts store
>on merging into traffic on the way home, smoke fills the cabin and in two seconds I cant breath
>slow down and open door to breath
>I look back to see a huge cloud of smoke and a long trail of oil
>brix were shat
>I go to inspect, praying that my new engine didn't blow up
>the oil cooler line blew off the fitting on the block
>this fitting is inside the fan shroud
>fan sent the oil over all four jugs and covered the exhaust tubes
>flat towed it home

Radip help
There are 9 wires
2 black/white
1 white/green
1 orange/green
1 orange/black
1 green/yellow
1 blue/(red or brown)
1 yellow black
1 red
I have no idea what any of the wires stand for and I can't find anything on this 1991 Ford custom
>>15390535
Red is probably hot at all times.
Yellow black is likely to be fused.
The ones with same colors but different traces are the outputs to speakers.
Black / white might be ground.
This is the shit for my radio, I just want to hook the damn thing up but I can't find any refs for this truck of what I am suppose to hook it up to
I'm pretty sure the black/white are the grounds for the left right speakers (I only have 2, none in the back)
http://stereowiringdiagram.info/1991-ford-f150-truck/
Went by what this said and still no response from the radio, it says also that the ground is red or black, WTF?
Hey /o/, tell this faggot to stop spamming /b/ with his mediocre car 10 times a day for months on end.

I have a first gen audi tt with the 225 horsepwoer engine and manual tranny
Anyway, this is my first manual car and i was "racing" it by myself and asnd letting it rev to 5000-6000 before shifting gears and suddenly the temp gauge went almost to full HOT
I quickly stopped the car and it went back to the middle between hot and cold and its been working properly since then
Anyway, is this normal and youre not supposed to rev cars that much or what the fuck?
>>15390507

it probably has not been driven hard in a while and needs a tune up
check that your radiator is full of coolant.
Tell me why I shouldn't buy a crown Vic?

You have to be this cool to drive a Crown Vic. Do you have what it takes?
