Bought one a few years ago when they were hovering around the high $20s. It was fucking awesome great the first few weeks but after awhile it just felt so slow compared to my wife's DD grocery getter E92. And I was constantly harassed by ricers in their shitbox Civics and Preludes and sometimes I'd bite and would be slower than a modded Civic... After washing it one day I looked at it and was just like fuck this and sold it for 5k more than I bought it for after about 9 months of ownership. Some Asian guy in Florida had a real hard on for it because the VIN had three 3s in it or something.

Just got back from a 3 week Japanese vacation.
The place is literally candy land for car enthusiasts. Every single car enthusiast niche is represented in droves. There are road courses everywhere, drag strips, and even the roads are gifts to all sports cars.
Even the little kei cars that frequent the cities are interesting to look at and fun to drive. Big American cars are represented in all forms, Porsche fans, vintage Alfas, neo-rich supercars, track prepped weekend builds, everything is around you at all times. Its literally sensory overload. Maybe the weeaboos were onto something.

I want to give my off road vehicle more suspension travel. It's a macpherson strut design, so in theory i just need to lengthen the strut travel length.
Who sells long travel strut inserts? I tried the koni and bilstein sites, but they aren't really friendly to browsing by size, instead by vehicle application and i have no idea what has both strut inserts and a lot of travel.

yeah im not trying to buy someone else's work. i have the skills to make these (made coilovers for my racecars before) i've just never had to shop for long travel strut inserts before and the sites make it impossible to look fro what i need.
most suspension places will say i can't do it because i'll compromise the cv boot angle and anyhow i don't have a pedders, this is america

I'm probably gonna buy this truck in a day or so, but I figured I might as well get some opinions

It still runs like a champ, has some age rust and it drives smooth and is rather well taken care of with exception to pic related
Here's what it needs:

>stereo needs to be hooked up
>brake pedal is too high.
Other than that, it's cherry.
So /o/ how much am I lookin at spending when it comes to body work, radio and Window tint, also does this seem like a good deal

Hey guys, I'm looking for my first car (first personal car) and was wondering if anyone knew much about Saab's.
I find them interesting, and i found a 2002 Saab 9-3 SE 5-Door and it has 98k miles for under 3k (has had an accident)
How many miles can they usually last, assuming that someone has taken the average care?
Is it true they are difficult to work on?
