have you done a compression test?
Should i lease a new mustang GT or buy an older one (4.6l, not coyote)
4.6 is gud with a huge aftermarket, go for the older one
>>15400567
Lease the new one. Old cars are for hobbies or suckers.
New one
>4.6l, not coyote
Definitely new one

Whats /o/s opinion on the Chevy square body's. I'm thinking on doing a project truck with a k10 or 20.

Extremely easy and cheap to work on/maintain. Simple steel body panels that are easy to replace or repair on your own. Tons of room in the engine bay, enough to sit down comfortably with your feet on the frame while you're wrenching. Tons of room to work underneath, change your oil, replace your starter, fuel filter, and many other cheap parts without jackstands. Massive undying aftermarket. Loads of bolt-on performance boosters available. Endless supply of 350s and compatible transmissions available on Craigslist at all times.
Mine was my first vehicle and is the only vehicle I own today, I have no intentions of parting with it any time soon.
As with any classic vehicle you'll have to be extra careful while checking out your local options, there are a lot of people out there running their vehicles on low oil and neglecting routine maintenance. Do not be afraid to do a lengthy visual inspection on any truck you're about to by, check the oil level and quality, crawl underneath and check for frame rot, check the back of the engine and around the transmission for leaks, check the condition of all rubber hoses, look at the plug wires and battery terminals. Etc etc.
Paid 2 grand for this baby. I've rebuilt the engine about 1.5 yes ago, that 350 is making about 340 HP now. Put a 700r4 in it, I get up to 90-100 mph pretty often. Raced my girlfriends v6 mustang (it cuts off at 113) and she had it maxed out, and I was beginning to catch up pretty quick when the straight highway ran out. They are very easy to work on and they make fantastic sleepers. People think its just an old pickup
Post your favorite Ferrari pictures with me. What is your favorite Ferrari?
Mine is the 599 GTO. I also really like the 360 Challenge Stradale.
Yellow is one of my favorite colors on the 360 Challenge Stradale.

Good morning to you too!

Post a picture and a description of your car. List all of its mods, it's curb weight, HP and TQ numbers, etc.
Then the 2nd post after yours is who you're racing.
Other people will then vote on who would win.
Example :
>2000 Twingo, stock, 3500lbs, 120hp, 100tq, smashthatmftwingobutton.
>Anons car
>Car you're racing.
If you want to get more advanced, races can be held on Touge / Track / Drag race. Then you can say which car would win which of the 3.
I'll start
1997 Lexus SC300.
Stock 5spd, intake, unknown header, and custom header back exhaust.
~3500lbs, ~235bhp, ~220tq. Firestone firehawks up front and slightly sporty tires in the rear. And a WAT stickie
1990 RX7 convertible
5spd, 100% stock
160 hp, 140 ft-lbs, 3000 lbs. Tires are some sort of BF goodrich thing, idk they were on the car when I bought it
>>15399500
Ayyyy!!
87 FC, header to a straight pipe, Megan coils, Striped out some weight, some dank stickies, aftermarket steering wheel and a rocket bunny wing.
Around 160-70hp, 145-50 torks, probably around 2800lbs and Some shit tires.
Also recently hit a pole, fixed all body parts affected. But had to repair throttle cable and ended up deleting EGR shit. Not sure if that makes a difference.
Nurburgerking local reporting in
Are FF cars inherently dangerous? It seems like loss of control is fatal in these ecoboxes, even more so at higher speeds too.

Just seems like there's much more difficulty to regain balance and control because there is no power to the rear wheels to balance it so the front has to do literally everything.
Oversteer can be corrected if you know what you're doing.
Understeer means the car takes a much more predictable path (straight ahead) but is much harder to correct.
>>15389312
sorry i meant to say oversteer or more specifically lift oversteer in a FF
>>15389302
You can find just as many crashes in RWD cars so I dont see your point
Anyone got experience with it? Thinking I'd like to put it in my '02 Accord since it's basically a glorified tin can and the road noise is pretty obnoxious.
It works.
Adding weight.
Why.
>>15364893
Get better tires first. Make sure all the bushings are good second. I have an 01 civic and at highway speed the worst noise is wind noise and dynamat wouldn't get rid of that.
What is the objective, best stereo head to purchase right now?
What stereo head do you currently own?
I love my pioneer prs80
Fick off dork car Audio is lame. Buy whatever and listen to music HURR base base base pounding base adding wait to ur sports car what stupid ticking logic.
>>15362849
