How would you convert a car from FWD to RWD?
>>15550381
With a lot of money
>>15550381
Sell it and buy a rwd car.
>>15550381
Bolt the front subframe into the back.
How does one comfortably have sex in a 2-door coupe?
I used to bang in my old sedan with no issues, but now I have a coupe and space is very limited, especially in the backseat.
Any positions I could try? Help a br/o/ther out
>2 door
if you don't have a bench, then I hope you have a challenger with a big back seat.
Accord Coupe is pretty roomy.
>>15550216
Vacuum your rugs and get floor mats you peasant.
inb4 beer

Gatorade then water. rotate after each bottle is done.
Correct the mistakes GM made in designing this body shape.
>inb4 safety regulation restrictions
Pretend they don't exist
My go at it
They should just pull a Mopar and go back to the OG style with modern materials and shit like the challenger.
Imagine this with discs all around, modern suspension, modern day super charged engine cranking out 1000hp right of the lot hnnnnnnggg
>>15550044
Fixed
Soooooo, this is my dream (classic) car, a black on black 79 camaro berlinetta with no bullshit spoiler in the back (and maybe some ski racks on the roof) go ahead and talk your shit, but this car has a special history for me and i feel like posting pictures and sharing my love.
fuck off you shit butt
ITT post your dash, whoever has the most things lit up wins
>>15549991
wouldn't someone just post a pic with the dummy lights on?
>>15549991
newish Mazda something, yes?
Power steering sucks
I've been thinking about cars, and I've always wondered why 'modularity' was never a thing in cars. Modularity is the ability to add and remove modules to something in order to change its capability - for example, you can switch out the video card in your computer to make it play games better without having to change everything else about the computer. You just stick it in and it works. You can make the monitor bigger and the computer just works fine.
Why can't we do the same with cars? Start with a small gas efficient car that can seat two people. Attach an engine module and switch out the suspension to create a fast roadster. Attach a 2nd engine module to make a sports car. Add a rear seating module for a sports sedan, then add a bed to make a pickup truck. Add a third engine module and add a longer bed and another axle, and you have a box truck. You can use one car and one platform to make literally every other possible car, and they'd all have interchangeable parts, you'd just have to snap together modules to make it all work. Thoughts?
>>15549700
Retarded.
I think it's because any configuration of a modular car would be inferior to a normal car designed to do the same thing. If you need to switch something, you just trade for another car, because it's more conveniant than having a bunch of modular car parts laying around.

THIS
Why do people make such a big deal about the way the Audi TT looks?
>hurr ok so its a shit car to drive and it's unreliable, but at least it looks good!
No it looks painfully effeminate and completely un-Audi. It looks fucking shit.
>>15549688
350z did it better
>>15549688
At least I look better in this than on a fucking buss, you slow and wide, busridin´motherfucker.
>>15549688
>it looks un-Audi
You say that like it's a bad thing when it's the only redeeming quality of this car.
What thing about chevy suburban?
it's a giant pile of overpriced. if you actually need one, get a 5.3L 2WD and make sure it's a 2010+ so you get a 6speed auto.
it's slow, expensive to buy and fuel, and almost too comfy.
gobernment officials
>>15549644
It's not as fast or a Corvette, as responsive as a Miata, or as good on gas as a Prius.
For what it is, it's not slow, it's not overpriced, and it's not bad on gas. Everything is relative. Compare it to others in it's class.
They are comfy though.
Okay /o/, what do you think of this list I compiled of relatively affordable manual RWD coupes and sedans?
Nissan 370Z
Ford Mustang
(Hyundai) Genesis G90
Mazda MX-5 Miata
Fiat 124 Spider
BMW 2 series
BMW 3 series
Lexus IS
Chevy Camaro
Dodge Challenger
Toyota 86
Subaru BRZ
Cadillac ATS
Mercedes C-Class
Infiniti Q50
Infiniti Q60
>>15549560
>Nissan 370Z
Great mix of power and handling although getting dated. Transmission is also very clunky and it's loud as fuck (I own one)
>Ford Mustang
You need to be more specific but the 5.0s are great. Don't bother with V6s.
>(Hyundai) Genesis G90
Perpetually behind its competition, do not touch
>Mazda MX-5 Miata
Depends on the generation; NB and ND are great cars. NA is overrated as fuck and NC is kind of pigfat
>Fiat 124 Spider
No opinion
>BMW 2 series
Numb as fuck and sloppy, do not touch.
>BMW 3 series
E46/E90 were very good generations, the former being more feelsy and the latter overall a better car (better built, power etc.). Of any 3 series I'd recommend a 335i E90 or a ZHP E46. With the 335i you'll want 2011/2012 models (for the coupe) since they come with the N55 engine; the engine it replaced (the N54) was a moneypit. Don't fucking touch any 3 series coupe after 2012 or sedan after 2011; same story as the 2 series.
>Lexus IS
Very good luxury car, poor fun car. It's comfy, reliable and has a great interior but meh driver dynamics and no manual.
>Chevy Camaro
Depends on generation. Like the Mustang it's a very good car in V8 form, don't even consider the V6.
>Dodge Challenger
Cruiser with a decent amount of power and questionable reliability. Take that how you will
>Toyota 86
Not bad cars but outclassed by its competition, also a bit overpriced new.
>Subaru BRZ
Same as above
>Cadillac ATS
Not too familiar but I like what I've seen from some rudimentary research
>Mercedes C-Class
Not really fun at all to drive, if you want luxury then go with the IS. Also no manual IIRC.
>Infiniti Q50
Even less fun than the C class while also being less comfortable and costing more to buy/run; replaced the G37 which was a good car. Don't think it has manual but don't quote me on that.
>Infiniti Q60
See above
Note, I've done extensive research into most of these as I've been cross-shopping a lot of them lightly to moderately used.
>>15549673
>while also being less comfortable and costing more to buy/run
Meant that in relation to the IS
>>15549673
Do you feel I've omitted anything current in the realm of RWD/MT/coupe or sedan/no hatch? I've also considered the EcoBoost V6 Mustangs as a compromise between practicality and enjoyability.
Anything against me purchasing this as a first car?
Also, Subaru General thread.

Hey neighbour. Are you going to get an Adventure Pass for that thing?
>>15549460
For sure.
>>15549452
Bumping with a smol and fast subie.
Why do only Americans seem to care about fun now?
>putting manuals in sports cars and even track cars, even though it's slower
>having drift and burnout modes just for shits and giggles
>SRT making 725hp landbarges and 8.4L engines because it's awesome
>Ford appealing to boiracers with the ST/RS, and making the automotive equivalent of a mountain bike in the Raptor
>Chevy BTFO'ing BMW's Ultimate Driving Machine with a half-price Camaro that matches or beats it in every objective and subjective category
Germans just care about lap times, Japan has just given up entirely, and Korea is lagging behind.
btw not Amerifat, just a butthurt yuro

Ford is the only good manufacturer you posted
Driving in general is dying and they want to get in one last hurrah before it truly dies out.

Yeah it's almost like hothatches and miatas and the toyobaru doesn't exist
COMMODORES
no falcon fags pls
>>15549404
Are Omegas and Cateras allowed? The Commodore was based on the Omega for the longest time.

Tell me why pic related isn't the best car ever build.

It is though. People just don't realize it yet
My dad is buying a 2011 Panamera 4S and I'll probably take it out for a rip. What are we in for?
>>15549310
because no one gives a shit about it
>Own Wagons

All wagons accepted, at least by me. Minivans are not wagons. Real vans, you know what, real vans can come on in by me. Minivans get out. OUT! OUT!
This one's mine. 1987 Electra Estate Wagon, i'm her third owner.
