Today I got in a huge argument with my mom. I do most of the mechanic work for my moms truck (I gave her my old s10) Today she asked me to change her oil. When I went to change her oil i noticed that her rear tires had far less tread than the front tires. I asked her why are they like that and she responded

Oldfag here, I'm asking asking any European car enthusiast here. The last foray Renault had in US involved cars like the LeCar and the Alliance. The LeCar was a little before my time but I remember the AMC alliances as pretty terrible cars (A friend owned one). What I'm asking was what Renault imported at the time typical of their products or did the best cars stay in Europe? And If anything made nowadays would have a chance of selling in the US?
