Dazzling sunlight edition when?
I have 30,000USD for a car. I'm looking for something that's quick, sporty, and has a decent interior.
>pic related was considering a 370z
ugh no
>>15688854
Used b8 s4. Can get a 6 speed manual, has a beautiful interior, supercharged v6, and a good example that been cared for around ~50,000 miles won't have issues until over 100K to at which point you can sell it and upgrade
So its just a turbo...?
What differentiates Ecoboost from regular turbochargers?
high compression
direct injection
lack of a catch can
marketing, it's bullshit
Like how the occupation Janitor gets renamed to "Sanitation Engineer". Just bullshit
>>15687866
>What differentiates Ecoboost from regular turbochargers?
What year your engine was built.
hey /o/ can you help me win $6000 for a work contest?
We're supposed to come up with an idea for a new technology that would make cars safer.
The person with the most innovative idea wins $6000.
So far the best idea I've had was biometric scanners.
You guys have any ideas?
>>15686977
More crumple zones and airbags. Maybe add frame dampeners
Make cars out of marshmallows.
>>15686977
Cars were safe enough in the early-mid 2000s. Fuck off.
Take mspaint, try and add a body over these wheels.
>>15686450
>>15686450
This is my design over it. Also pls r8.
I know, I'm pretty skilled with photoshop.
MUH DIKKKK
http://www.motoring.com.au/mazda-rx-9-locked-in-103563/
What did he mean by this?
With all these name plate revivals I almost feel like we're in another motoring golden age.
Then I saw the rumored price tag (100k) and realised we aren't
They fucking did it.
Looks like the RX-7 from behind.
Looking to replace my stereo, probably an Alpine UTE-62BT (No CD, USB, FLAC support, BT). What are your opinions on car audio brands?
Alpine > Kenwood > Pioneer >>>Sony
>>15683599
Drok
>inb4 pee pee guy
>>15683599
For me it's not that important which brand as long as it can play aux and BT and that the colors of the led can be controlled to fit the color theme of the car.
I bought this meh JVC KD-R600BT because it had the criteria I needed. Also came with Hands-free mic which was a bonus much appreciated due to BT.
>>15683696
>small, no fuzz, has aux, cheap, does the job.
Also this little fella.
>>15683599
/o/ absolutely adores Pioneer. Great quality, especially for their price point
>cant choose N/A
>>15681436
turbo
>>15681436
Only one decision.

I have a 95 corolla that smokes bad, what would happen if i use 75/90 gear oil, its thick as hell and i have some lying around
>>15689151
Hows abouts you just fix the fucking car moron
Too thick, run some 15/40 or 20/50 if you really want to.
>>15689162
I have other cars for me to drive, my brother needs a car for a couple weeks and asked if he can use it but if the police see him he will get a fine, i have all the parts to fix it but no time right now
Talk me ouy of getting a 458/ 488 guys.
I could save 10k a year and buy one when im 25 having saved up all together 110k (im 20 right now) then finance the rest. I have school, housing ect. paid for and will be going to school till im 30 and once i turn 26 ill be making 50k a year. I say 25 because by then my insurance will go down. The 458/488 comes with 7 years free service. So ill never have to worry about maintenance in the time of owning it. If i get the 488 ill have 3 years of warranty. So ill only have to worry about insurance, gas, and if i get a 458 any failures but from wgat ive read the new ferraris are much more reliable if you drive them.
Any reason I shouldnt get one?
>>15683771
>ill be making 50k a year.
>wants to get a ferrari
white trash
It's a ferrari
>>15683771
Kek. Majoring in philosophy? No sane person going for a good career would be this retarded.
Name a car maker who 95% of the drivers drive like dickheads.
>>15682056

>inb4 that's not a car maker
At what speed does a person have to go to not survive in a car crash?
>>15681555

>>15681555

>be glad that I'm not as pathetic and miserable as the OP
I'd fucking kill to go flying down that road. Dam
itt: the best mass produced motors of the past 10 years
personal pick: mine; pick related
pros:
unlimited revs
super charger 650 horse ready
beautiful exhaust note
special snow flake status
cons:
tfw under 300 torque
expen$ive
go
>cluttered with electronics
>m-muh VANOS SOLENOIDS
yeah, no
the S62 is better.
Early 90s LT1 350 Small block Chevy
Stock make over 300 HP, easy to make over 500 on the stock bottom end with boost, they're basically falling out of the sky and they can be had for $800 or less. They can be built to LS spec for far less than an LS costs, and can be carbureted if you're a massive hipster. The greatest mass produced engine in recent history at this very date, but will fall out of relevancy and will be replaced by the LS in my mind about 5-10 years from now.
>>15677522
Had a lt1 in my impala that had 600rwhp and no way I'd pick it over like a 5.3 6.0 ls.
