Do you fill up with regular or premium?
>most stations
Regular gas from a top tier station
>Costco
It's usually only 25-30 cents more a gallon for premium and my engine gets a few extra HP so I'll spring for it
>>15723645
Yes there is a point, higher Octane is harder to detonate, that's why it is used in high compression engines where lower Octane would self ignite like a diesel. This is like a middle school level question, you over 18 anon?
118 Octane unleaded + (very little) methanol for my DD
>dat gas mileage
>no engine knock
>dat hp gain
>dat clean cat
>dem clean plugs
Honestly it ends up costing equal to or less than premium. ($2.75/gal compared to $2.98/gal last time I filled up) But a lot of engines can't handle it.

What's the worst province for being a car enthusiast and why is it Onterrible?

Montreal here. Yeah Ontario is pretty shit lol. Enjoy your new taxgrab safetytests and mandatory front license plates.
i wanna move out of this cuck province and own 5 cars with the insurance money ill save
Just wanted to say, if there are any people on here who wrap cars for a living: I have newfound respect for what you do.
Decided to tofu wrap my corolla wagon because I'm a massive faggot. Felt good to do the work myself, but it's so easy to fuck up. I can't imagine doing it for a perfectionist customer who wouldn't accept a single flaw.
Anyways, I appreciate what you do.

Youre my new hero

And maybe next time, we'll all be able to freaking USE it.
There's your thread, now use it to decide when we're meeting next.
Despite my grouchiness at the late hour, this was yet another rousing success.
Are these features really that important?
For me? Yes, since I work and live in my car most of the time. For most people? I rarely meet people who see cupholders as dealbreakers.
>>15707071
What cars don't have cupholders anyway?
Yes I recently switched to an older car and I'm kinda inconvenienced by now having only 2 cup holders instead of 6.
ITT: We post "redheaded stepchilds"
some of these cars will also be "black sheeps"

Is the Volt the greatest hybrid of all time?
>>15716490
I can agree with that. The Fisker Karma may be prettier, but it's also absurdly expensive.
The Toyota Prius is more popular, but it isn't as efficient
>>15716501
That's not as efficient as the Volt.
Jay Leno uses a Volt as a daily driver and averages over 1000 miles per gallon. At 10,000 miles, he was still on the tank of fuel in the car when he first got it from the dealer. Said Volt Tank is 10 gallons BTW.
>>15716508
op asked for greatest, not best.
you can't swap a k20 into your volt when you're tired of hybrid feels and lusting for hektik skidz.
furthermore, the overwhelming majority of volt owners/drivers are not jay leno. voltstats dot net has a histogram that shows combined ev/combustion daily driving, and the center of that histogram is right around 50mpg combined. the first gen insight is known to do well over 60mpg with relative ease.
There are haters out there that pretend this doesn't look good.
I get it that you think it's dangerous but that is no reason to act like it's not an amazing looking head turner.

That does look good. All those nice rust free body panels just one hole in an oil pan away from ending up on craigslist. Shit looks fucking fantastic fantastic.
I have 0 idea why anyone would drive a Miata or something similar to it in power. Don't even give me "handles well" memes, other cars with 300% of its power can handle just as well if not better. Stop being a poor little faggot and buy a real car with some real power. I'd compare having a car with sub 200hp as being a 5'4" manlet with a 3 inch penis.
>>15726694
>5'4" manlet with a 3 inch penis
But that's exactly what I am.
>>15726694
kek
Miatas are great little go kart momentum cars. Very little else out there is that light with that nice of suspension geometry and balance for that cheap. Rather than having something that will kill you, you have something that you can rev the piss out of and drive hard but not necessarily be on the cop's radar in the twisties.

Can we talk about header and downpipe upgrades? Are they placebo or the real deal?
What do you expect from this thread?
To answer your question yes
Sure if you consider paying $300 for a 3 to 5 hp increase is a good deal.
If your header currently flows like shit it will help. If your stock header was designed to flow well from the factory then you might not notice a difference
Thread about a bunch of anons throwing reasonable price at you so you get a feel for what you have so you can feel good.
