in my opinion it can do nothing to help a direct injected engine. might be wonderful for a carbed engine or port injected
>>15660567
I always fill up with premium diesel. The additives used are pretty good for your injectors life.
It blows my mind when people driving new bimmers/mercs/audis just go in there and fill up with regular diesel or even worse, fill up in supermarket pumps with the shittiest quality diesel/gas available.
Is the Nissan 240sx good?
good for what?
Slower than a modern honda civic without any of the comfort, safety, technology or gas mileage.
At least you'll get to look like an anime racerboy.

Why does /o/ hate normal cars?

The MOST fucked up people ive ever met drive normal cars.
The most autistic drive "rare" or "sports" cars
Ok /o/
Im trying not to start a shitposting/benchracing thread.
I have around 50-60k and I was looking at used GT-Rs. Do you think buying a used GT-R (r35) is a good idea or just importing an r33. Or just buying a Grand Sport, because IMO, its the best vette package.
And yes, I want to blast eurobeat

That is my main concern desu. Early Gtrs had shitty transmissions. Im looking at a 2011 one, not sure when they beefed the trans.

2010 had the upgraded trans
Earlier models are still strong if you dont limiter launch 100 times a day

Why even live
Thank all the people who buy SUVs and crossovers.
Thanks to them the cars grew taller so that the SUV bumpers won't slap your head off the shoulders.
Second reason is pedestrian comfort on your hood.
Develop a material+construction that is thin as fuck, absorbs tons of kinetic energy and fit your car with a working pedestrian pillow - Voilà, you got yourself a modern and thin as fuck shitbox again.
The front wheels on my car have much less tread than the back wheels.
Is this normal? What causes this?
Also would it make sense to swap my front tires for my back tires and vice versa, so they would wear evenly and I would not have to replace my tires for a longer period of time?
>>15672559
Is this post bait? Or are you serious?
>>15672559
Different loads experienced by the tires.
It's completely normal.
And yes, rotating your tires does make sense.

He isn't entirely wrong. As is, Acura is rebadged Honda. Infiniti and Lexus was rebadged Nissan and Toyota; now their lineup varies quite a bit.

Have you ever used any kind of additives? Has it worked, or is it just snake oil?
#1 use is to hide engine problems long enough to unload a car on a sucker
I use fuel additives occasionally. Never going to fuck around with oil additives (because good oil already has them) or seafoam.
>>15676112
Oh yeah, I've used fuel system cleaner to freshen up some laggy injectors I guess.

I'm thinking about buying an 2015 A3 that someone brought over from Canada. Condition of it is pretty great and the price is a few grand cheaper than most of the dealer inventory around me. Apparently everything matches up fine with it as far as emissions and safety standards go, but the speedometer shows kilometers per hour instead of miles per hour. Not sure about the legality of that, but beyond that I would find it annoying anyway.
I'm not a car guy so I may be totally off-base assuming this, but that seems like it would be a pretty easy/cheap fix. eBay and Google don't really seem to have any results for the model I'm looking at though....but I may be looking wrong. Is that something a dealership service center could take care of for me if the part isn't available?
