Well, see what they're offering obviously, but don't feel like they're doing you any favors and get suckered into taking it.
>>15866582
Oh, and obviously use tonight to figure out what they're going for. I'd be very skeptical if I were you.
Can somebody explain the reasoning behind pic related to me? What's the purpose? What's the appeal of paying to fuck up your own car?

I see, I think this picture explains it all. So it's basically Jackass with cars right?

Liberals, if anything. Their "it's how cars would look if roads were flat," is kinda like saying "blacks are peaceful if the cops aren't around."
I know I shouldn't, but I still want one.
why not? they're fucking awesome. expensive to maintain and repair but what luxury car isn't?
you're literally buying one of the most capable SUVs ever built. it just needs the sort of love and care that a super comfortable and capable SUV would need

The P83's are an electronic nightmare. Couple that with the air suspension and engine issues and you've got yourself a deep money pit. They are timeless though, that body style has really grown on me.

It really is a shit anime. The artwork is horrible and even the rendered CGI has absolute shit anti-aliasing. It looks like it was some chinaman's weekend project.
I'm convinced it's just an /o/ meme and nobody actually unironically watches it.

I've been given the opportunity by my parents to get either an automatic 2014 tc or a manual 2013 FRS. I know the pros and cons of each but I am still on the fence about this. What do you guys think?
>>15865907
TC is acceptable with 6 speed but not auto. I drive one and they he wack torque at 4k
I've been trying to find something for a good first manual. But the Tc has a decent interior in comparison with the FRS shit everything, such as the head unit and sound system.
Get a car made by a branch that didn't get defuncted the fuck out.
Is it possible to run turbos non-intercooled without any problems in any conceivable way?
Yeah, just make sure you live Siberia
>>15865869
Fuk m8 no more engine bay unless I cut a hole in the hood for top mounted intercoolet but then I lose access to dank engine
>>15865879
though to be serious, you can certainly run turbos without an intercooler.
The main problem is the considerable power loss from making the engine breath warm air(well, not a loss per se but thermal inefficiency)
Is there any company that'll make cheap entry level sports cars other than mazda or there only going to be econoboxes and crossovers for the rest of out lives

She did not.
A kid at school wasnt going so I idled forwards until I was touching his bumper then pushed him
I once bumped a guy going <5mph in bumper to bumper traffic because I was fucking with my phone but I've never been in an actual accident.
Is there that certain car you've always wanted, but could never find?
ITT Post your favorite snowflake/unicorn/rarity.
I'm trying to find one now as a good beater. Why is it so damn hard to find a 1991 Honda Civic EX sedan, with a manual transmission, and light blue paint, that also isn't molested?
>>15865611
a mid 80's Lancia HPE 2.0 Volumex in metallic petrol blue.
I have a decent honda civic ed3 91 sedan.
Predictable but yeah
What's your guys opinion on CVT hondas? I'm looking at a new civic for a daily driver but have heard mix reviews on them.
>going on 4chan for any sort of advice
These always end up reasonable and unbiased
>>15865603
I've heard nothing but bad things about CVT Hondas. Check out carcomplaints.com's worst vehicles, every Honda in the worst is almost entirely CVT tranny issues.
VTEC doesn't kick in as dramatically.

So fucking this
how much do flat six engines go for compared to ls v8s?
flat six: >$10k
ls1: $500 and an afternoon
just get the LS
cheaper, more reliable, can make more power
They don't. Flat 6's sound huge and sound like shit.
so the spoiler of my car ('02 Hyundai Tiburon) looks similar to this pic, only it's silver so doesn't look quite as horrific. if i repaint i guess i'll need to sand it down, but then will i need a primer? is it worth putting lacquer on the top coat even though it's a gloss paint, not metallic?
also, the bumper has scrapes with the plastic visible, do i need to put primer on this or will a touch-up kit be enough?
this is my first car i actually give a shit about, so this is my first time giving a shit about the appearance of it, i have little experience painting anything, but i'm ok with sanding :)
Any time you hit bare metal you need primer, if there is no bare metal you don't need primer.
>>15865209
ok, what about the plastic? i know there's plastic primer but i'm not doing huge areas, the scratches are maybe 2 inches long, half an inch long
Primer literally everything. Self etching on metal, then filler primer. Skip self etching if it isn't metal and go straight to filler primer.

FLIP THREAD!!
Ok /o/. I want to see the cars you've flipped. (As in bought and sold for profit). Post what it is, how much you got it for (story helps too) and how much you sold it for. I'll start.
Picked up this 06 mega cab 3500 6 speed manual dually from a local shop my buddy worked at as a service writer. Engine had a loud knock, they didn't even look at it and quoted him $10,000.00 for an engine. He said fuck it make me an offer on the truck. I put in a $2000 bid plus the shop Bill and he bit. Paid $2400 for a truck that books for $24k.
Number 6 rod rolled a bearing bad, turned the crank .010 over and threw new bearings in it. Putting it back together as we speak, I'll have a total of about $5k in it when I'm done.
Nobody?
>>15864976
So what did you sell it for?
>>15865225
I'm guessing he hasn't yet, which means he hasn't flipped it, which means, well, he hasn't made a profit, so...
