This mexican guy was trying to tell me that his first car was a 64 impala but back then "they were not worth much and a typical first car manny of the poor mexican kids had from his neighbourhood".

So i called him out on it.

I called him an idiots... These kind of people are as bad as the morons that try tell me 1960s mustangs were once cheap teenage hoon cars like a what a 240sx is now.

This guy drives an old beat up pickup truck that he runs a landscaping and horticulture buisness from so he is trying to make himself sound like he isnt a loser.

Has anybody on here used YourMechanic before?

I recently found out about it; it's basically Uber but for car maintenance. You schedule an appointment, they come to your driveway on that set date with the parts and operate there.

The thing that has me confused, and a little hesitant in using it, is the DEAL you get. It's like it's too good to be true, I mean look at pic related. It's for a standard drive shaft replacement. WHY IS IT SO CHEAP IN COMPARISON? Reviews I can find online are nothing but positive too, what gives? Is it really as simple as it being a total steal?

If anybody has any experience, positive or negative, please let me know. I would really like to have service done on my car, and everybody likes saving money, but I'm really scared to find out if there's some sort of catch.

Anyone ever sell used car parts on craigslist?

I sold a used alternator to a east indian guy for $50. Apparently he installed it on a different vehicle than it's meant for and it isn't working properly. He claims I sold him something broken. He is sending me threats saying he'll show up to my work.

Should I just refund his money?

Buying my first torque converter auto tomorrow, never driven one before.

Can you engine break in them or do you have to ride the brakes? Can you leave them in drive when at a stop?

Is the tire size 215/75r15 adequate for driving over curbs? I have a lot of these fuckers in my neighborhood that seem to get in my way. My thought is getting some all terrain tires and going up and over whenever possible.

I'm looking forward to replace my 2003 accord and 2002 gsxr 600cc with a sports car.
Is there another car in the 25-35K range I should consider?
Mustang GTs are a dime a dozen, the WRX is ugly, FRS seems underpowered, and I'm not interested in a FWD "sports" car

Need help. Buying a new car around 60k. A lot of good used cars in this price range. Narrowed it down to a couple that seem like the best value.

Corvette ZR1
Nissan GTR

The ZR1 is amazing, light, easy to mod. The used market is filled with nice low mileage examples because they are owned by old men.

The GTR is a great machine with better/more exotic looks. but it has the fuckboy stigma. Cost a lot to mod, but the insurance is much cheaper than the ZR1.
