>Got drivers license in 2010
>Get pulled over (right tail light is out) and cop tells me my license is expired and i need to get it renewed
>Had no idea drivers license was expired
>Says I need to come in to renew because of some law passed in July 2012 that requires people renewing their license for the first time to do it in person
>OK.jpg
>Says I need document proving my identity (Passport or Birth certificate).
>Don't have either so look up online to get a copy of my birth certificate
>Required info for a birth certificate is a completed and signed request form, certified check or money order, photocopy of your valid photo ID (Driver's License, State Issued ID Card, Valid Passport)
>Can't get it cause I ASSUME a valid photo ID requires a drivers license to be non-expired (still not sure on this one)
>Decide to look up to get State ID Card
>Required documents for state ID, Proof of your identity (Valid U.S. passport.U.S. birth certificate), proof of your Georgia residency, proof of your Social Security number.
>Can't get one cause no birth certificate
Basically at this point im going in circles cause everything I need requires some sort of identity and my only identity is expired.
Am i basically fucked at this point or is there something I am not seeing?
Why not get a state ID card or try your expired license
retard
>>15870926
start with a social security card. Your govt. will make you a new copy of that for free.
Use that to get updated copy of birth certificate, and I think you can also use it (provided it has your DoB on it) to get your driver's license.
Now delete thread. An entire 3 replies of ecoboost shitposting died for this.

>Why not get a state ID
State ID's require a Birth Certificate you moron.
Post what you feel like, /o/-car related!

Hey /o/ I'm looking to lease a car and I'm looking at these cars in particular: Mitsubishi Mirage, Mitsubishi Lancer, Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic.
My first option right now would be the Mirage for the affordability factor but I'm worried about the start/stop button that the car has and would like to hear some opinions on the feature.
Opinions on the other cars would be appreciated as well of course.

An interesting suggestion I see, though it is on the pricier side compared to the aformentioned ideas.
Would you be able to explain why you suggest it?
I got this 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac XLT 4.0L V6 and Ive been thinking about getting a better sound out of it.
Maybe a new muffler.
I'm pretty clueless.
That's fine.
>>15870567
It looks nice, you might as well make it sound nice.
Loud mufflers attract more police attention though depending on where you live.
>>15870567
Id keep it mainly stock. So yeah just some decent quality mufflers. Try and find somthing that gives you a good sound when youre really on the gas, but that sounds stock while just crusing.
Just saw these test mules when I went to grab some food
I know they are just test mules but fuck they are ugly IMO.
grey one looks like what a super car would look like if someone from Mad Max designed it.
which car purchase did you regret and why?

for me the C30. good car, but the turning radius kills it for me. I feel like I'm doing a U turn in a dump truck
I won't buy anything unless it has ecoboost

Recently put some LED sidelights in, pleased with the look now need to get rid of the horrible yellowy dipped beam bulbs I have in there.
There are loads of xenon and LED H7 bulbs out there and I'm a little overwhelmed, would appreciate it if someone could help shed some light on the matter (excuse the pun).
Are 100w legal in the UK, if so is it better to get these over the 55w - are they almost double the intensity?
Are the LED ones any good, would these be a better option over xenon?
Thanks!

Shitty ricer. Kill yourself. Anything other than factory lights lets everyone else know what a faggot you are.
>>15870453
Aint even mad bruh, it's my car. I much prefer the look of xenon bulbs and you can't deny the visibility improvements which is an added bonus seeing as I live with a lot of country lanes around me.

>I like the looks and don't give a shit about other drivers.
You're blinding everyone else on the road.
So what do we think about this Z06?

You sure someone didn't just jack up the 'Vette and lean the tires in the wheel wells just for this photo and lulz?

Thats exactly what happened
He has a hacked up miata that they actually go on. Its ugly as fuck but its neat watching him do all kinds of crazy shit to it.
How hard is it actually to restore a 1960's mustang?
>>15870299
Depends on the condition of the car, money, and your skill set. You'll never be wanting for parts though. There's lots of parts cars out there and they almost repop anything on them. If you can handle body work and paint then restoring is pretty easy, it just takes time.
They rust like a bitch if you live up north.
Some things are hard, if it has any rust chances are you need to cut out the cowl, which means removing the windshield. They left the cowls in bare metal on a seam so they all rust through, then drip onto the floor and rust the floor out. Most of the car is pretty simple though and parts are really easy to find.
Would I need an ECU tune if I swapped a cherry bomb for my muffler?
Anything else I should know?
I want more sound from my 2.5i
You'll need comp remap, intake, downpipe, o2 spacer, upgraded clutch, upgraded intercooler, a bitchin' system, and heaps more.
You are fine without

>a bitchin' system
please elaborate
What's the best suitcase style tool box set in the world for general use? For general use on anything from tractors to lawnmowers.
My votes on this.
Is there a better one out there?
Pittsburgh 301 piece is pretty great considering you can get it on sale for $150. I keep it in the trunk of my 90 Miata in case of roadside repairs.
>>15870150
I'm not a fan of some of those Pittsburgh sets. HF stuff is ok sometimes, but you gotta be careful what you buy. Don't use that HF screwdriver as a little pry bar to try and pop plastic shit off your engine bay on the side of the road, it will probably break. Plus the only decent HF ratchets are the ones with the black and green handle and those normally don't come in the kits.
And to add, if you catch a good sale at Sears, you can get a similar Craftsman kit for almost the same price.
>tfw hooked up this lil AC unit in the garage
