Shit taste normie tier garbage go back to r/film

How do I link this in my blog too?
Also, holy shit the paint.exe captchas are serious, actual cancer.
So, I had this idea to use the concept of the dyson bladeless fan for racecar aero. Instead of putting the fan in the base, it would be fed by the exhaust through both sides. Then it could use the diverted laminar flow to point at an airfoil or fill the low pressure zone in the wake of the car.
>>16085786
Lets attach stanley bobbleheads to our mirrors, that would be the best
>>16085786
Yeah, because bigass empty rings are so easy to blend in the car's aero.
Plus I don't really know if such a concept would work if air is already being pushed through the ring.
>>16085786
pls provide calculamations on how much exhaust gases you'd need for this to have any noticeable effect at high speeds
The hood on my mid 2000's crown vic is peeling. Is sanding it down to primer and then painting it flat black a decent option?
Fuck you, /o/. Probably tell me to get a miata or S2k
>>16085766
Matt black mate
If ur feeling fancy go gloss
You dont even need to sand it back just put like 5+ coats of it you'll never know the difference
big sticka to look like carbon fibre.
still black/can doo yourself.

What ever you do, do not paint over any old paint. You will regret it a year down the line when all the old paint decides it's time to start coming off again.
>find really nice 95 e34 540i sedan
>Basically pristine
>56,000 miles
>Its a manual
For 14 fucking grand. What?
Or I buy the same car with an auto with twice the miles that is better looking for half the money.
Wat do?
ive seen alot of these in manual in ontario for not that much. Suprsing to say the least
>>16085582
Manuals are rare as fuck for the 540i but for 14k?
I can get a Dinan e34 540i for a 1/3 of the price I just found
>>16085565
>For 14 fucking grand. What?
They're not that easy to find in the first place. With that mileage and manual, that's a pretty damn good price these days.
kill me /o/, it's over.
>ordered a fuck ton of suspension parts for my car, some in a group buy and some directly
>parts start coming in week by week with majority of parts coming in in december
>decided to put in the new swaybars today seeing as it's an easy job, get it apart, back together, and get ready to torque it all down and take it out for a test run
>get to the last two nuts, factory service manual says 80-94 ft-lbs so I bust out my torque wrench and set it to 80
>torque down first one until it clicks, move on to next
>five or so turns in there's a loud crack and the stud shears itself and just flies off
>mfw nissan doesn't sell the studs seperately, it's all one part
>mfw the part was part of the suspension components I ordered but it's scheduled to come in late december
>mfw I have to garage my daily for two months
on top of that I discovered that my transmission was leaking really badly, that explains the grinding noise I was having for the past week. guess I'm going to be commuting by moped for 8 weeks. feel like such a huge fucking idiot, and the only thing that makes it worse was that I sheared off the exact same stud off the exact same part almost exactly a year ago when I was installing polyurethane bushings. RIP
>>16085346
Go to a junkyard and take one off of a wrecked car.
>>16085346
Who gives a fuck? Just disconnect the sway bar and don't drive like a dipshit. It's not the end of the world.
>>16085362
Also if you sheared off a bolt at 80 lb ft, you're using completely shit bolts, or there's something terrible wrong with how you're torqueing them.
Anyone on here actually drive autocross? Just looking for tire recommendations/impressions.
c'mon, know at least some of you guys run autox. What's the hot tire in your town?

is this a decent price? what would you offer? im not very good with prices and dont want to get ripped off. rust free cars that age are pretty rare in this area, rains almost all year
Sorry I can't help you, but what is Comox like? I really want to get posted there. Are there twisty mountain roads?
Turbo rwd manual for less than $2k in real money money you're questioning it?
>>16084992
i havent driven there a lot but there are some nice backrounds yeah, not in comox its self but pretty close, cumberland, forbidden plateau, etc. roads are pretty empty at night, its mostly old people and kids that live there.
the town itsself is nice, not much to do but its nice and quiet. lots of windsurfing, hiking, kayaking etc. if youre into more outdoor stuff.
fair warning though comox full of fucking deer everywhere they just sleep in peoples yards and shit, its ridiculous. you have to watch out for those fuckers even in downtown. the old people like to feed them and shit and theres no wolves around.
what's the best car to own as a new driver who doesn't want to be nanny'd, but knows they don't have the skills yet to really take car of a god machine?

>wanted a fun, RWD car
>bought a Miata, tried and true
>swapped the 1.6L engine to a 1.8L
>drive it for a few months
>on my way home from work
>turn a corner too sharp
>spin out, crash into some bushes
The car only has minor damage and I'm ok, but I've never felt so disheartened about driving until now. Am I even good enough for RWD? Should I just sell my car after I fix it? Pic related isn't my car btw.
>>16084856

I think I know what the problem is.
It's an Eclipse.
>>16084564
What do you mean he pulled you out by the tire? Like strapped a rope through the rim and pulled you? If that's the case your alignments probably fucked and some parts may be bent/broken even

could be a nice car if the price is reasonable. When the depreciation hit them they could become the new town car.
Solar roofs that look better than a normal roof, generate electricity, last longer, have better insulation and actually have an installed cost that is less than a normal roof plus the cost of electricity," Musk told a small crowd gathered at the faux block party. "Why would you buy anything else?

This is /o/. for autos, not roofs
>>16084388
Musk demonstrated the durability of the solar glass tiles with a video showing a Tesla roof tile taking a hit from a weight dropped from above. The tile cracks but does not shatter into shards like other conventional roofing tiles. No mention was made of the price, electricity generation capability of each tile or insulation value.
