GM = God Machines
Looks like a fucking hot wheel.
I'll take a shelby over that shit any day
It has 305 width barely-legal tires on all 4 corners, which is less rubber than most hypercars. I sure hope it goes fast.
Not really
I just bought a Chevrolet, how fucked am I
>>16089435
You wont be.
Which one?
Chevy*
What's the best sounding car for you?
Pic related for me.
Anything with:
A race prepped Audi 5 cylinder
A rally prepped 4cylinder with antilag
A real V12, not a 200hp British piece of shit
An American V8 with a big ass cam.

I'm falling for month-end sales. On the fence between getting a Golf Wolfsburg (all the fanciest features, most importantly to me has a sunroof), vs spending 3k more and getting a Golf GTI S.
Golf:
Sunroof
"Driver assistance" safety features
Leatherette (a negative, I like the Clark Plaid)
GTI:
Drives like a beast
Clark Plaid
Nicer rims
Nicer interior
The red stripe on the grill
So fun to drive vs comfort. The regular Golf is peppy enough, but the GTI is so fast it's like drugs. But really most of the time you'll be cruising anyways so maybe comfort is better...
thoughts?
I have a sunroof and never use it, I don't get the appeal.
The only thing I use my sunroof for is when I want to set something down and don't want to put it on the paint I put it on my sunroof.
>>16089258
>>16089270
I wonder if I'll use it, but I've had a car with a sunroof before and I miss it. The light + having air circulation without it being as disruptive as opening the side window I guess is the appeal. If you never drive with windows open you probably wouldn't use a sunroof either. I like the feeling.
What's /o/'s opinion on the Enzo vs the MC12?
MC12 Looks better imo, Has the racing cred and was slightly faster than the Enzo anyway probably because of better aerodynamics.
MC12, always.
MC12 went racing.
Can you eat cereal while driving a stick?
I eat linguica rolls while I drive stick.

Dennis did nothing wrong.
>>16089016
maybe ramen in some cases, but definitely not cereal.
>Walk into Chevy dealership
>Salesman immediately on me like white on rice
>"I'm just looking around and killing some time"
>"Okay! Let me know if you have any questions!"
>Comes around every 2 minutes to chat with me
AUURURRRGGH! Can you just leave me alone while I sit in the cars and check things out?
>Walk into Audi dealership
>Go around sitting in every car and fiddle around with all the gizmos in there
>No one even looks at me as if I'm a giant piece of shit
Oddly enough, I liked not being hounded like this 100X better.
Also, why does pic related even exist whens SHE'S IN THE FUCKING DEALERSHIP.
>>16088922
>Went into Hyundai dealership with mom the other day
>Manager explains the guy working with us is a new salesman
>Ask guy basic questions about the base model Sonata
>Has no fucking clue about anything in the car, can't even fold the rear seats while I find the latch
>MFW I literally explain every single feature of the car to my mom while the salesman doesn't even know if the headlights are LED or not
>Also, why does pic related even exist whens SHE'S IN THE FUCKING DEALERSHIP.
It's probably not real

>Go to dealership with my dad yesterday
Used lot
>Old guy who knows nothing about any car on the lot comes out
Honda lot
>Guy doesn't understand that the Honda my dad has any interest in is a V6 Manual Accord Coupe (no dealership anywhere has one)
>"Well if you like power you should try the Accord Hybrid or wait for the Turbo Type R Civic"
Nissan lot
>Dad tests a new Maxima
>"suspension is just too soft"
>salesman is a younger guy who reveals he drifts a 240SX on the weekends
>"Hold on, let me go get you the one with the much better suspension"
>Brings out a Maxima SR with all the protective plastics and shit still on it
>"I didn't put any tags on it, so don't get pulled over"
>Dad drives the piss out of the thing
>He's now looking for a used one that's already taken the $10k depreciation hit.
>Manual (preferred but not necessary)
>Quick (0-60 under 5 secs) ****IN STOCK FORM***
>20k Budget
>Geography (Flat Florida highways and roads)
>DDable for 2-3 years
>Usage (Only Car, DD and Leisure)
>Age( Prefer Late 2000's early 10's)
>Prefer coupes but open to sedans
Open to Jap tuners, Merican' muscle or German engineering. Want the best bang for buck in terms of speed, practicality and fun.
Dont Want:
>Project cars
>Engine swaps (No time)
>don't want cars from the 20th century
>Corvettes (Younger guy, insurance will be a meme)

civic for 3k.

Daily reminder that
>m-muh AWD!11!!!!
Is NOT an acceptable response to high BHP traction issues. Spinning all four wheels means the car crabs and you can't steer accurately.
>j-j-just make the torque split m-massively rear bias1!!11111!
At that point you're adding a huge amount of weight in the form of an AWD system, and you're only getting a minimal traction advantage.
For use on tarmac RWD will ALWAYS be the superior drivetrain setup, and always has been. Anyone who says otherwise ALWAYS fits into to one of the following five categories:
1. Busrider
2. Never driven a car with more than 200bhp
3. 12 year old Nissan GTR fanboy
4. Honda Civic fanboy
5. Subaru Vapelord
why dont everyone continue to like what they do and you like the stuff you do and lets stop being autistic
yeah?
>>16088371
AWD gets all the bitches tho
>For use on tarmac RWD will ALWAYS be the superior drivetrain setup, and always has been
nice conjecture
>2. Never driven a car with more than 200bhp
what does this have to do with anything? a 201hp car wont have traction issues...
ignore the highlights in pic related
awd is king on tarmac for high power applications
Yo, need help asap.
I know this is a 996.
But what about the rest?
Is it a Carrera 4 , 4S, 2, etc ? which one is it?
haaaalp
i need to knooooooooow :(

Do europoors need to yield to traffic inside the roundabout?
Anyone have any glamour shots of your shitbox?
Post those motherfuckers.
Here's my entry.
>>16088266
who else here loves the design of these?
Its like a wedge, but its curved and I think that looks pretty neat
also, cute pop ups
as well as the triangle engine, and manual, I could see myself buying this car one day.
>>16088258
>>16088258
I do but no one else apparently does. The Porsche 944s are like that and would love to do a tricked out jobbie on them.
But most people I talk to says they look like shit. Am I aestheticing wrong?
>>16088258
yeah its one of my favorite cars
>>16088287
this looks awful tho
>"the clutch bites a little too late"
>DUDE LETS SWITCH THE WHOLE TRANSMISSION
do they just make up stuff to do to make episode length?
>>16088256
They do stuff because when you're doing it all for free/getting paid to do it, you do whatever just for fun.
>>16088256
>do they just make up stuff to do to make episode length?
Pretty much. They seem to be running out of ideas and shilling for their sponsors for 60% of the episodes now too.
It used to be "hey, we have no money, a terrible car, and somewhere to be. Let's see what goes wrong!" Now it's more like "we have well over $150k worth of cars, nothing worth while to do, and half an hour to fill by the end of the week. Let's thank Dodge 8 million times and talk about how expensive these cars are!"
>>16088256
Yes. Also they need a reason to drop sponsor names, and they are genuinely not that smart.
What does /o/ think of the slingshot in terms of actual ownership? I own a Miata (inb4 gay) and love the visceral feeling of being in total control of the car. I've driven a few motorcycles, but not as my own. How much of a jump would it be to a Slingshot and what are some good alternatives?
Pic related.
>>16088164
It has the same practical ownership negatives that motorcycles have. limited cargo, open to weather, not safe, you have to wear a helmet in some states/countries.
Unique cons compared to bikes: costs $20k minimum and maintenance can be quite expensive
Unique pros compared to bikes: cupholders
Don't buy that buy this, Dummy

What'a the name?
