2016 is officially now over, but there is a lot to learn from it. The formation of Houston's /o/ group in January 2016, just a few guys from /o/ who wanted to have some fun and share their love for cars. The revival of this group happened in May, "Rain or Shine, cucks" we dealt with a cluster of storms in May but that didn't stop this spark from happening. After many meets we became Night Wave and kept on going, kept on expanding, kept on meeting more and more, members increased exponentially and the same goes on for now. We faced many difficulties throughout the year, but in the end we passed through them. This was a great year and let's make 2017 even a better one. Happy New Year everyone!

Our expansion plans have taken a unexpected turn, we are setting up Night Wave in Europe now as well.
Introducing NEONWAC, our european division of Night Wave, it's still very new and they are only a handful of members there for now.

I'm scared as shit of parallel parking in tight spaces and especially on a slope. I even hit a guy moving out of my space - on a goddamn slope - on literally the 3rd day of having my car.
I don't know how people do this sort of thing on a manual without rolling off at least a bit, which is already "a bit" too much if you've got a guy 30 cm behind you.

Hello br/o/thers
I recently bought a 1993 Mercedes 500sel (w140)
It is a nice car, very comfy, luxurious, and quick for its size, however, there is one problem.
The traction control is a massive faggot; anytime i want to do some hektik skidz it kicks on and completely ruins the fun, I cannot find a button to turn it off either.
Do any of you guys know how to turn it off?

Body paint is falling apart
Passenger rim is cracked, not trying to jinx myself, but it is a large rim crack might wreck one day

Could use a new battery but haven't had any actual issues yet

The dash has developed a rather nasty rattle thanks to the local road surfaces being rubbish.
Exterior:
A multitude of paint chips and small dings from asshats in parking lots including the mother of all shopping cart dents where some old hag pushed it against my car to get it to stay still to unload her shopping.
Mechanical:
Needs a new clutch soon, rear main seal is leaking a bit of oil, there is a tiny crack in the sump, shift bushings are in dire need of replacement and as of last week the timing belt is squeeking.

Fram air filters are also good. I've never seen any evidence of leaking in the air passage even when shining a light parallel to the surface to look for grit.
K&N filter users have commented about how they see fine dust coating the air tube.
