The paint is fucking ruined, and one of the covers of the frankenstein bolt is bubbly (rust).

The idea is to pay someone to work away the imperfections (chipping paint, rust) etc and wrap it in a yet undecided color.

When I have enough money I'll remove the wrap and let a company spray it. The idea is that the wrap will preserve the work done to make it smooth. I care little for the current color, I do kinda like the black/white theme.

I despise white, black and grey as car colors.

Does anyone know what this rattle is? It's comming from the glovebox, removing the glovebox doesn't solve the problem but it takes longer to rattle audible. I'm assuming the glovebox works as a magnifier for the sound.

You don't want your car to look like a butcher's shop (there's a reason for those green cards between the meat, it lets the meat's red colour pop more).
I'd go with a red base car, white wheels, maybe a set of matched white racing stripes, a regular black seat, and a red steering wheel. Nicely tied together, not too ricey.

Just bought pic related to diagnose my miata since its been acting up. Starts idling at 1500rpms and it speeds up slower then usual and wether i am pressing the gas all the way or just a little it speeds up the same amount. Just shakes when the gas is all the way down. Other then that it drives normal 60% of the time.. Also today when idling it was going up and down between 1/2-1rpm but i think it might just be bad gas.

Looking for a Miata, either NA or NB. I really like the NA's popups, and the first and only Miata's I ever drove were NB's, so they're about equally attractive to me. So, to settle it, it depends on three things: chassis, engine and interior room.

I fucking did it /mg/, after 10 months of working my first job and saving up, then buying a shitty SN95 mustang that I instantly regretted, I finally found the perfect miata, and I bought it. It's only had 2 owners, and they both took amazing care of it, the car is immaculate. It has 183k on it but the car is so clean you couldn't tell, it has brand new Koenig rims with Nitto Neo Gen tires, they have less than 1000 miles on them, hard dog roll bar, brand new clutch, flywheel, belts, hoses, new soft top that's a year old, steel braided brake lines with mazdaspeed sport brakes, and a kenwood double din touchscreen stereo unit.

Happened to my Miata last year. Just cut new threads in and put in the insert, wasn't a big deal. I think the tap and insert kit was only a few dollars but I also had to buy a long socket extension for it.
My miats is boosted to 12psi and has held up fine.

Holy fuck I'm pissed.

My fucking car makes a clunk/click, sorta like hitting a metal panel with a mallet whenever I'm stopping completley, and when I'm going over speed humps slowly.

SO\o I thought: "check the suspension". I did and I find that both my tie rod ends are FUBAR and so is one of my lower ball joints.

I spent most of the day replacing lower ball joints and the tie rod ends on my '96, using a fuckhuge chisel since I couldn't get a pickle fork. The noise is still there.

I did all the other stuff I've seen online. Greased the slider pins on the brakes, torqued all the suspension to spec, torqued the wheels to spec, torqued the caliper to spec, and made sue everything in the trunk is secured and not moving.

I'm out of ideas, please send help.

It's also a lot less of an on-off switch than you would think, yes the engagement is focused mostly in the top ~20% of the pedal, but once you learn how to finesse it it's really rewarding. It will shudder pretty bad if you don't know how to set off with it, but if you get gud it's smooth. Plus it takes abuse like a fucking champ and will chirp the tires long before it ever slips.

It's not a 99, it's at least a 2001.
