I just drove through a really big puddle and my car turned off instantly. I pulled over to the side, and now it won't start, it just keeps making a really loud banging noise when I turn the key, and it shakes. Kinda like slamming a hammer on metal.

Ive never seen a post about this car specifically, so i was wondering avout what the general consensus is about ford escapes. I found a 2013 with about 35k miles for 12000, but im sure i can bring it down closer to 10. It looks awesome but i dont want to buy a car if there is a better option, performance-wise

Currently have one, (2015 se in red) with the 1.6 ecoboost and I think it has a good amount of power for what it's designed for they're designed for but I've hooned mine hard, currently at ~32,500 miles and I've gone through a full set of continental pro-contacts already but one thing g I don't like about is trunk space. You can barely fit the full size tire it comes with back there. What are you interested in it for?
