Is this a good deal? Thank you in advance.
2008 Suzuki Forenza 4 door with 76,000 Actual Miles. Automatic with a 4 cylinder engine. Includes A/C and power windows. Economical! $3000. Please no text.
>>16533935
They all came with A/C and power windows standard.
So long as it has maintenance records, it's good.
Make SURE the timing belt was replaced at 60,000 miles. If not, spend $500-$700 and get that done first thing. Also do the water pump at the same time since the water pump is driven by the timing belt.
how will it make you feel to open your front door every morning and see a fucking suzuki forrealza in the driveway?

Thanks Googling right now on how to check timing belt.

I am sick and tired of people saying that American Takumi would drive a foxbody mustang. The mustang was never mean't to be a regular commuter car, it is technically a fastback instead of a hatchback (which in my mind is an absolute prerequisite) and most importantly of all no one is that surprised when they are passed by a mustang, even old ones. I think there are probably more modified foxbodies on the road than stock, and most car enthusiasts know this, so the surprise factor of being beaten by a car that isn't known for being fast simply doesn't exist. The true vehicle of American Takumi is none other than pic related, the AMC gremlin x. Instantly recognizeable but constantly underestimated, i believe that the satisfaction of seeing someone driving this vehicle and overtaking a modern mustang would be absolutely supreme. The best part of inishuru dee first stage was seeing the superior driving skill and course knowledge of Takumi allow him to overtake actual sports cars despite only driving an econo commuter car himself. The hero car should not be one that was ever designed to be fast, but rather a sport variant of a car that was designed to simply be a regular vehicle.

Why not just get a pinto. They have more aftermarket support
American dagumi would drive a 69 charger delivering moonshine and sliding around the appachalations. American Dagumi is literally the dukes of hazard
Vega is the correct answer imo

Why don't you have a baiku waifu, /dbt/?
Why do people keep blowing their load over R32 GT-Rs when the GTE Sedan is unarguably better in almost every way minus performance?
Can't you swap the engine with a GT-R or something? 4 doors > 2 doors.

>Fatter version of already heavy car

No

I don't even understand this fucking thread.

>as such is fitted with extremely long gearing
>two fucking overdrive gears
>7th gear is geared for 300mph
Hey guess what dipshit theres a reason the Vette gets better fuel economy than that ricer trash GTR despite it not being cucked to shit with emissions laws. If you drive a Z06 and are like 'damn I wish it accelarated faster from 30mph in 7th gear' you are an enormous retard.
What are some good reliable alternatives to the car in this pic.

Whats the deal with this slab. How does the awd do against Honda and Subaru?
Well, based on what I know of Suzuki's i-AWD, it's like a cross between a traditional haldex system and 4x4 on trucks.
You can set it to FWD mode and it will never engage the rear axle. Then there's intelligent mode where it'll send torque to the rear axle if the front wheels lose traction. Finally, there's full lock mode where power is locked at 50/50.
Given that info, it's in a sense inferior to Subaru. Subaru is AWD all the time, and then additional torque is sent to one axle or the other depending on where slip is occuring. However, you can't set a Subaru to be FWD so you lose out on MPG's and efficiency when you don't want the AWD, I guess?
As for Honda, it depends. Regular Honda AWD is the same horseshit where it does nothing until slip is detected... and even then it does a piss poor job. Super Handling AWD (SH-AWD), on the other hand, is fucking Evolution-tier and is probably better than anything Subaru has, including the STi. That's because it not only actively shift power between the front and rear axles, but also between left and right wheels.
>>16533369
>it not only actively shift power between the front and rear axles, but also between left and right wheels.
Torque vectoring isn't that unique.
Subaru has it on their latest STI model, as does Ford with the Focus RS. Mitsubishi and Acura have had the technology now for a while, as you have mentioned. Audi has the Torsen differential, too.
Mazda has it as well (torque vectoring for the FWD Mazda 3, I would not be surprised to find it in their AWD Mazda 3/Axela), but it's a system that uses braking on the inside front wheel during a turn.
Hi guys,
I Drive a civic se 2007, a while ago when i changed my front brake pads and discs there was a screeching sound from my left front wheel after we changed them, like the piston of the caliper was not coming back and was pushing against the pads, therefore ruining the pads and disc.
So I had my mechanic change the caliper and get a new set of discs and pads and everything seemed well but today the screeching started again. It definitely sounds like the pads scraping against the disc but I only hear it at low speed. Any idea what it is?
Pic unrelated, great music imo
Bump with more
Bumping with classic muscle cars, more appropriate
Title is self explanatory. How fucked am I, /o/?
Also, should I just go for a 924 or is it worth saving up some more for the 944? The former is significantly cheaper to buy and repair since most parts are VW and Audi, but the latter seems to be more reliable and pleasant to drive (muh pure racing handling). I live in Portugal by the way, the version of the 924 that was sold here doesn't have 1/3rd of the HP cut down like the one sold in the United States.
You'll need at least 2 parts cars to keep one on the road, so whichever you can find 3 of would be ideal. Here in the USA 924s and 944s are typically sold in lots of 3-5 at a time by people who finally admit defeat, not sure about the situation in EU.
>>16532560
924's are sold in bulk by weight on local craigslist

It's been said so many times. Don't get a snowflake as a first car, it will be a nightmare
So I just drive a 2010 ford fusion at the moment
But I been talking to some buddies about the car I've wanted since I was a kid, a pontiac trans am WS6. They both drive subies and were both like fuck yeah get it and come hang with them and do car stuff. So with that in mind sometime in the future I plan on getting a 2002 WS6 and working on that. I would like to make sure it works properly first so what would I focus on first, engine, springs, brakes, cams and supension? Then move on to looking good with LED lights body kits and what not?
Speaking of body kits, I don't seen anything really worth looking at in terms of body kits for the trans am, but I like mixing shit, so would it be possible to take a rocket bunny, liberty walk or RWB kit and kimchi rig it to fit on a trams am or do something JDM to it?

I'm now officially the proud owner of a dented 2008 Honda Civic with manual transmission. What are some essential mods to make this care tolerable?
So far I intend to do the following:
>buy little parking mirrors
>get rid of fart-saturated cloth upholstery from driver seat only and replace with leather
>tint windows so that people can't see my ugly face and subhuman twink body; if other drivers see how subhuman I am through the window they will become emboldened to drive aggressively around me
>>16532331
>not even mentioning sickk fart can
kys twink-bodied degenerate
but did you get it for 3k
>cold air intake
>cat delete
>fart cannon
>17 inch low pros
>remove rear bumper
>ebay turbo
>2 15 inch subs
you are now rice ready
Which one would y/o/u guys choose?
They both have manual transmission.
