6 years driving never gotten a ticket

66 in a 40. Ticket was $255. Fucking Virginia

Do they really use aircraft?
15 minutes ago I nearly died. I had a green arrow and was turning across a busy street. A blacked out truck, probably an F350 or comparable size, comes barreling down the road at 60 mph, I sped up and he missed me by mere inches. I almost waited at the light a second and if I had I would've been hit.
My question is, is there anything I can do to get this faggot caught? People like this should be tied to a wall and smashed by their own car.
>>16543750
you should have already laid a spike strip and oil slick by the time he reached the light.
>>16543750
It's your fault for driving a "sports car" when the average shitbox is almost 4000lbs. If you can't beat them, join them.
>>16543750
>is there anything I can do
Getting my full license which means in AUS I can finally drive a turbocharged car without being fucked, which one should I get anons WRX or XR6?
Xr6
>>16543742
XR6T. Or if you want to be a sick cunt without coppers up your bum, get the G6E Turbo. Either one gets the job done.
The WRX is fun but you've got a big target painted on your back in one. And in a line (read; at stoplights or on highways) it's not as quick as the 'coons.
>>16543742
WRX, you want to be a Sikk Kunt don't ya?
>Doesn't save much weight that isn't eaten up by pigfat anyway
Why do they do this?
Normalfags will just call road assistance over a flat.
>>16543434
Can confirm work at dealership as technician but also do roadside on call we have spares but most cant put their spare on but whatever extra money for me
>>16543434
basically this
>>16543287
Ever seen someone on the side of the road with a flat on a new-ish car.
9/10 people will just sit there and stare at it, unless they are black...they cant afford roadside assistance.
Disadvantages for front and rear overhang? (No offroading reasons and high speed handling reasons)
>>16543269
Sometimes on-road you can get stuck easier, steep driveways/parking lot entrances. If you don't care about performance then that's about it.
weight distribution and handling obviously
>FF with front overhang
>>16543456
What about FR?
Need a new tire whats the cheapest site or is a mom and pop shop my best bet
seek out Mexicans
>>16543112
This is 100% true. I'd still go to American Tire.
>>16543095
Your best bet would probably be either mom and pop shop, or a used tire shop because online retailers charge out the ass for shipping, them you gotta find a shop that'll mount and balance without being faggots because you didn't buy the tires from them
Daily reminder Muricans can't drive manuals.
Most Americans don't need to know.
>>16542929
Most car enthusiasts do though. It's the average person who just needs a reliable commuting vehicle who doesn't.

Did you make that image macro yourself? Because it's terrible.

Been considering buying an old beater with some friends and just using it for track days to get some seat time. I was thinking about buying something along the lines of an EK Civic or E36 and stripping the shit out of it, putting in a bucket seat and just track it until it breaks, then fix it and repeat. How bad of an idea is this?
>>16542701
A civic will be better than an e36.
You talking road course or autox?
>>16542718
Literal track days. I'm in the UK, so Goodwood and Silverstone would be the first tracks that come to mind.
>>16542762
I'd say e36
That's what everyone uses here
Do you like M5s
>>16542557
Mercedes is superior in literally ever single way
No, because they don't offer unique engine just for that particular model anymore.
Also this>>16542606
, nowadays MB seems like a less boring option if you want a luxury european performance sedan.
>>16542606
BMWs look cooler
I just bought a 6.4 and I'm not very familiar with diesel trucks. Is it true you only need to change oil every 10,000 miles or is the standard 3,000 still recommended?
>>16542493
Bumping pls help guys
>>16542493
>6.4
You dun goofed. Did you even watch any of powerstrokehelp's videos beforehand?
>>16542493
Here you go you fuckwit.
Implying there has been a better car than pic related.
>>16542297
Yup
Have you actually driven a Cosworth? How do you know it's the best car without having ever sat in one?..
ricers arent good so its not hard to be better than that
Just got a basic econobox cause I've had bad luck with all previous cars.
Has 130,000 miles. I plan on replacing whatever I *should* at this mileage and whatever is cheap, while I'm at it. Money not a big issue, just want this hatch to be refreshed and ready for road trips adventures.
What else entices preventive maintenance?
So far my list:
Battery
Alternator
Spark Plugs
Wires for spark plug
The distributor cap/ ignition coil/ w/e it uses
Fuel Pump
Fuel Filter
Tires
Serpentine Belt
One thing I don't think I can manage is the timing belt (or hopefully chain) This requires a bit of dismantling, doesn't it? I was wondering if it should be replace by now, and if the fuel injectors should be cleaned or replaced. I think they're only like $24/ a piece
What else, anons?
Also I don't consider 130k HIGH mileage as I've had cars at 240k. Just wanting to fix up and prevent a break down, leaving me stranded again.
>>16542213
No need to replace the alternator, fuel pump, or ignition coils. They aren't wear items. Whatever you replace just make sure you use oem parts.
Bro stick to fluid and filter changes and don't fix things that aren't broken.
>he doesnt plunder with a glorious british man o war

You got pressed into service and now your cucked enough to enjoy it. enjoy taking it up the arse from midshipmen.
