looking to get rid of my POS 08 nissan sentra for a coupe from around 2012ish, around 10kUSD/13k CAD
anyone had experience with the scion tc or civic coupe 1.8 form this period?
>>16719891
Why is the sentra a pos?
>>16719901
Its a nissan.
>>16719901
Because Nissan is shit.
>>16719891
Tc comes in a 6 speed and has more horsepower and will be more fun to drive
Coming from someone who hates Toyota and is a Honda fag
What's the comfiest not really sporty just really nice to drive and has power to speed when needed?
2010 or newer
This is the only escort worth talking about.
Your shitbox is shit.

Ford Focus or Chevrolet Cruze.
I'd like to go used cause new cars = goodbye money.
I got about 5k I can put as down payment. Total budget somewhere around 14k max.
How much can I expect a 2017 GT premium to drop when the new models come out? Looking to pickup one slightly used.
Otherwise, will the changes be significant enough to get a 2018 model instead? Will there be a premium trim or is the base GT the one pictured in the renders?
>>16718952
Ferd still has 2016s in my area so i imagine 2017s wont sell out very quickly either. Most people that want a mustang are willing to wait until the 2018s come to either get a 2018 or to get an older one for a better deal. So yes i believe they will. Im sure you could talk em down thousands on msrp for a more basic gt using the fact the new one is a refresh not just a new model year as leverage. As for the 2018 mustangs im willing to bet pic will be a premium. I also think shit like digital gauges will only be with the premium ONLY OPTION as we have seen some 2018s still having analog gauges. Obviously pic will be a loaded GT im betting msrp on tht example will be about 45K. Of course you can bet your ass ferd will try sticking all the other good shit in the premiums to tempt more people into spending the extra cash. The base models may get a new standard feature here or there but im sure the only other options will again be cloth recaros, and some wheel packages.

>Not wanting the new mustang GT which will have over 500 horsepower and weigh less than the camaro
And yes im talking about the standard GT. My dad works for Ford.
How did I do. Anyone else have one?
>>16718932
Why would you buy a cuckold crossover
New Hondas are shitty now too
>>16718932
just fine, it's fairly useful and offers some cargo space, has an alright interior, alright mpg, and as long as you do proper maintenance itll last you as long as you need it to.
The busrider autists here might be mad because 1.) you can buy a car and they cant, and 2.) you didn't choose some 10 year old shitbox because "bro all it needs is an ls swap!!" or muh nosalgia!!, but their opinions don't matter anyways, and they know that, they just wish someone would listen to their psuedo expertise.
So anyways, nice job OP, i hope you like it.

Could be a lot worse. Could also be a lot better.
I made a thread a few days ago about how to get my car certified after I installed my first mod (Alpina horn button). I took it to the TüV for inspection, now they are holding my car and suspect that the button may not be genuine because there are no markings on it. I tried to contact Alpina but they are now part of BMW and basically tell me there is no way to know if it's real or not. I asked if I could just drive it back home and reinstall the stock one but they said no because the vehicle is now not legally insured as an aftermarket part has been installed and not certified. What is the best move forward? I really need my car...
>>16718717
Tell them to FUCK off and return your vehicle. Time to move to America m8
>>16718717
Lol what the fuck?
>>16719117
I can't, and nah, I don't want to move to a place where everyone has guns and is fat, and I don't like speed limits.
Any other Germans still awake? I'm on a weird schedule, maybe I'll try again tomorrow.
> Tools
Anyone ever use a Harbor Freight torque wrench? I'm not paying $500 for a 'Snap-on'.
No. Literally nobody who buys harbor freight tools uses them.
>>16718689
There's nothing available in between those two price points?
When you buy sandwich bread do you also choose between Store brand white bread for $1 and hand crafted Himalayan lotus flower enlightenment bread blessed by the Dali Lama for $500 per loaf?
>>16718745
Okay... Some shit you get at sears then.
What does /o/ think of 1996 - 2000 honda civic ex, dx, cx, si
It can smoke anything with a few simple mods

Unreliable autos because nobody changes fluid and there is no filter
I've never posted here before so please excuse me if I did anything wrong.
I bought a 2008 charger sxt last week, runs great, i love it. Just today, when I turn the ignition, it does nothing for about a second or two, then starts no problem. I'm just wondering if this is something I need to be worried about, or what?
Thanks in advance.
>>16718592
Could be a number of things.
Starter not engaging
Low key battery
No communication to the key from the BIU
A number of things
>bought a 2008 charger sxt
Theres your problem
>>16718592
>dodge
eyup
So here is a hypothetical, what if we injected liquid oxygen like we do with NOS?
>what is we used both?
>>16718264
Exploding cars.
It would be less effective
Not much, assuming the amount of fuel being injected is unchanged.
have you ever ripped a big ol stinky fart in your car before?
>>16717984
All the time

NO REGRETS

I do in customer cars all the time. So much so that it's a habit now.
Hey /o/ I have a question. I drive a car with a manual transmission. I went out to my car today and when I put it in reverse my gear shift sunk down and inch or 2. It went into gear fine and goes through all gears fine it just has a couple of inches of vertical play. Any of you dealt with this issue before?
>>16717961
broken passenger side motor mount?
>>16717961
the fuck? My car has an amount of horizontal play, and I've driven a few other cars with horizontal play but vertical play? Never heard of that shit before
>It's another "hot rod garage with quirky personalities" show
Does /o/ like any of these?
Does it contain forced """"""""""realistic"""""""""" drama?
If so, no.
I get my automotive news from CNN
Fast and Loud is OK in that it's still mostly about the cars
the fat one is totally obnoxious but aaron is pretty chill
>be me

>succeed
>start driving
>look at bottle in my passenger seat
>realize my mistake
/o/ how fucked am I?

So what did you replace it with?
>>16717536

Tell me, /o/
Auto or manual for a pickup truck?
I always prefer manual cars but i've heard it's better for a pickup to be automatic.
>>16717301
if its a tiny little baby ranger get a manual.
if its a fuck hueg towing truck get an auto
>>16717325
What about mid-size? 150s, 1500s etc
Manual can go e more fuel efficiency too
