what engine in the e36?
>>16723880
it's the M51 (325 tds)
He likes it more than the M4 GTS and the M2. I'm not even kidding.

Daily reminder that Chris niggers on the old review was complaining about the Giulia fuel tank size, which strangely is of the same size as the M3 one...but in the review of the M3 this is not a defect.
Reminder also of the fact that he participates, under invite, at the Porsche cup and that first happened when that nigger sperg'd saying that Ferrari cars were finely tuned before the reviews and also the cars had more power (but according to him only Ferrari did this)...I WONDER WHY
This car is the literal description of a pigcar, exteriorwise
top gear still exists?
hey guys, is it just me or is this freakishly cheap for a WRX? should I be skeptical?
https://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/cto/6016799601.html
>>16723210
I'd be sceptical. 3 pictures and none of them are good or show the engine bay.
>>16723210
>pittsburgh
Yes you should be skeptical.
>>16723210
Is this a normal american car advert?
3 pictures and the number of miles. wtf
Am I supposed to roughly dry each area/panel after I soap and rinse it off. you know as I go along
or is it ok to just rinse of soap, do the next area, rinse it off again etc then do another full rinse all around then dry?
is it true chamois are bad over a microfiber towel for drying?
>>16723009
Dear lord. Why would you attempt to rinse the soap off of a single panel, dry that same panel, and then rinse another adjacent panel? You are just going to get water splashing over the thing you just dried.
Rinse debris off the whole car (all the panels together), soap the whole car (all the panels together), rinse the soap from the whole car (all the panels together), dry the whole car (all the panels together).
Also, rinse and soap and rinse and dry GENTLY not roughly as you ask in your first paragraph.
>>16723009
Also, just use microfibers GENTLY. Chamois done wrong is more likely than microfiber being done wrong.
The only time you do anything wash related panel by panel is most types of polishing. That's because you are more likely to do each panel evenly and equally If you do them one by one instead of the whole car front to back.
But that doesn't apply to car washing. You should have the stamina and efficiency to do the whole car at once.
Your second paragraph made more sense. Yes, you can rinse as you go and do one last full rinse to even out any dried up spots before drying. But do not dry as you go. That just doesn't work in any scenario I can imagine with my feeble mind.
Hey, /o/. How would you define a shitbox? What makes shitbox a shitbox?

it's a car you have to used because you have no other choice

I just use it as a kind of self deprecating but also endearing term for any car.
Please help?
I just installed a legacy la590 ( https://www.amazon.ca/Legacy-Performance-Channel-Bridgable-Amplifier/dp/B00005Y6OL ) to a single alpine type R12 ( https://www.crutchfield.com/S-Lphsd7pkq3N/p_500WR1522D/Alpine-SWR-1522D.html ) Exactly those models...
Im using 8 guage wire.. the amp turns on with the radio telling me my remote/power/ground is ok, but as soon as i connect my speaker wires it goes into protect mode and wont give me anything. This is not true for the RCA cables
Basically i can connect everything except the speaker wires, as soon as i connect the speaker wires, the amp goes into protect. Im not very experienced but i think i matched up the sub-amp ok.. or is this an impendance/ohm problem?
Maybe im not wiring them correctly? i bridged the two outside ports (+,-) of the woofer, and connected the two middle ones together with a banana connector thingy. basically a wire. following the drawing on the amp i matched the two outside ports with that of the sub, bridging them... did i do something wrong?
I havent used this set-up before, so the speaker could actually be damaged but as far as i can tell its in good shape..
Any help is greatly appreciated :D
I have it wired up like in the picture, except my speaker says 2ohm 2ohm near the ports not 4ohm 4ohm
Using simple speaker wire for the sub to amp.
UPDATE i tried running the 4 ports directly from sub to amp's ports, therefore allowing a 2ohm impendance but this gave me nothing!
UPDATE
after calling an audio shop he suggested i wire the sub two inside ports to the two inside ports on the amp and bridge the outside ports on the sub, basically what i had set up initally.
I GOT THE GREEN LIGHT! but nothing is coming out of my sub at all.. and when i push the volume even a little bit the amp hops right back into protection mode.. FUCK
So i tried with a different speaker i had, a little 8 inch. I hook it up and same thing, the sub light now goes green, but nothing plays from the speaker and as soon as i push the volume even a little bit it goes right into protect mode....... Its not the RCA cables.......
ANY CLUE??? nobody has any idea..
Atleast, if something is broken, which is it the sub or the amp?
please shed some light
I currently daily an '87 Wrangler. Tons of fun but slow as hell
I want something sporty and fast. Should I go with a fox body or a miata?
Budget is $5k. I live in sunny Cali

Just restored my steering wheel /o/.
What do you think?
How it looked before.
>>16722643
So you took a photo in different lighting?

One is night time, the other is morning.
The point is that it feels waaaaaaay better, no worn 1990s mitsushit leather.
>driving 5 over in the left lane and not moving over
Who else doing God's work here? Just because it's the fast lane doesn't mean it's OK for you to go 90 mph in a 65 mph zone.
B-but its friday and im off work an need to get home!
>>16722585
Why not move to right lane if you aren't in a hurry home? I move over and let motorcycles pass me because they won't be holding me up. I don't get the logic honestly
>>16722585
You don't have the moral high ground, and all you're doing is encouraging them to drive even more dangerously by trying to pass you on the right.
Cleveland auto show (known for amazing classic cars and the newest Ford vehicles along with some super and sport cars) gets the Aston Martin Vulcan the most expensive car they have ever had worth $3.4 million
I'm so pumped to go
How to make the best car of all time:
>take the vulcan
>make it road legal
>remove the wing
>add comfy but lightweight interior
I really hope Aston gets on it, it would be what One-77 should've been.
>>16722240
What's the point? It's going to be roped off, you're going to have to fight through a crowd of teenagers and Arab Princes to catch a glimpse of it.
>>16724268
It'll be to expensive to use in any practical matter.
>>16724268
Meh some boomer with a 454 and power glide and enough mods in a chevelle would pwn the fuck out of it
>inb4 price point
3.4 million in mods on a 3k chevelle would rape anything

D-do I post the VIN?

Where were you when Porsche made the Ultimate Sedan of the Decade?

Being poor as fuck and woefully uninterested.
Who cares honestly? This is the automotive equivalent of some a-list celebrity paddle boarding in hawai.

Or HPV, take it from me, shit sucks til you litterally grow out of it.
Nobody worthwhile is going to fuck you based upon the car you drive.
So I'm new to the moto industry. Building knowledge on bikes and looking to get my own.
I keep getting constant back and forths between rather I should go 300 or 650.
Could someone here give me a straight answer on what should be my first bike? I want a sport look, nothing naked. So we're talking R3 or Ninja 650 type deal.
I was looking at some middle ground with the CBR 500r, but the insurance skyrockets with that bike. The 650 ninja is literally 1000 reals cheaper.(I live in brazil)
So, recommendations? Should I go 300, 650, what? What bike would you recommend?
>>16720000
Why do you want a sport bike?
Are you going to participate in the sport of racing?
>>16720003
I have an uncle who participates in track racing. He said he would take me and teach me all the stuff. Just need a bike first.
I also really like the design in general of the sports, the way they look.
But the idea is to one day track race, yes.
>>16720000
Since no one really answered you, get the 300. Heck, even a trashy old 250 ninja if you can. But do not start with a 600cc+
I can not tell you how many people come into looking for their 1st bike (I worked at a motorcycle dealer) and within the 1st 3 or 4 months they are in for repair or totalled.
Understand this. You will mess up, you will drop it. Alot. It is all apart of learning. But those same mistakes on a 600+ will not only put the bike in the shop, but you in the hospital as well. Learn from many others mistakes.
flashy car with meh hp or a butterface ?
>>16719971
Hmmm I would say the 2 seater convertible from fiat
A Butterface. I don't see the outside of the car much when I'll inside it driving.
Handling and speed are top priority. Comfort is second. Looks is third. Id take a scratched and faded beast over a premium paint job econobox any day.
