Gases ignite, liquids don't. You'd have to atomize the liquid oxygen into a gaseous form again before it would ignite anyway.

Storage of liquid oxygen would add weight and further mechanical complexity.

tl;dr why would you bother when atmospheric oxygen exists? A: You wouldn't.
