95-100ah is recommended
AGM due to start-stop function is pretty much required
190mm height or very close vicinity
175mm thickness or very close vicinity
353mm long or very close vicinity
B13 mounting point, which is what pretty much all cars have

I can recommend this one; https://www.atp-autoteile.de/de/product/1093740-ek950-agm-micro-hybrid-95-ah-850-a-10g-pol-fett/dvc-1

Looks like five years of german finally paid off

thanks, so what specifications matter when choosing a battery for this car? just the 95-100 ah and agm? or in general what to search when buying a batte?
thanks

Pretty much - but dont buy the cheapest you can find. Invest in something decent like Exide, Varta and other big brands.

Also make sure it actually fits. This isn't much of a worry, as batteries in the 95-100ah category tend to be in the exact/pretty much exact same size

I don't post here often but I lurk every now and then. Is this basically the gist of this board?
>people argue about which $150K car is better, neither of them own one
>scat fights over cars being 00.00:12 seconds faster than another car on some random race track
>they have never even been on a track
>arguing about top speeds being "low" at high 2XXkm/hr
>none of them have even been half that speed longer than "that one time on the highway when no one was looking"
>trash talking (insert car brand here)
>have never owned one of these cars

The bench racing will never go away though, GT-R vs Corvette threads are just the latest Mustang vs M3. But at least it used to be spammed less often.

Holy shit, what's the general consensus on this traffic shitshow?

>sign related as the highway has a left travel lane and lots of on/off ramps
>speed limit is 55 because work zone
>flow of traffic is more like 70-80 in left lane
>people in the right lane might be doing 45 on average, maybe the speed limit if lucky
>hit_a_worker_pay_the_$10000_fine.jpg posted everywhere in the work zone
>workers fucking everywhere
>people entering highway want to merge into left lane but can't because of speed differential
>people who want to merge into the right lane can't because they'll probably hit a car going half their speed

Can we agree that this whole situation is actually retarded?

Also guess the state this happened in.

Wait until you see a "trucks use left lane" sign. Cars absolutely lose their shit because they were too busy texting to see the sign.

Would a stock RSX type S make a decent commuter vehicle?

I used to have a 3.0CL and it was a wonderful commuter. Looking to recapture that joy and comfort in something more sporty.

I have a fun project car, I just want something with a quieter cabin and decent gas mileage that I can buy with cash.

My sister has one in Milano red with just shy of 118K miles
She Daily's it and never had any problems. Don't expect stellar fuel economy. About mid 20's with premium fuel only all in all a good sporty car with more than 200HP and leather interior
>>
>>16688579
That's all I want. My CL made like 200/220 in a v6 and I squeezed 30 highway out of it. But right now my daily is a Ford ranger that is lucky to see 18.

Then pull the trigger man. The 6 speed is amazing and shifts smoothly and it has good get up when ivtec engages. The only thing I hate about these Cars is the oil filter is in a retarded location and oil spills all over the subframe when you remove it

Reliable and safe fwd manual shitbox post 2000?

its a temporary solution, needs to be safe so I live to drive my goal vehicle. So no tin cans pls.

More than 4 ncap!!!!

I know corollas are good, but I want more suggestions, and elaborate on corollas? Any experiences with them?
Are twingos safe? I like them. Reliable?

Get a corolla, twingos are tincans btw.
>>
>>16688306
what sort of retard logic is this?
just get anything going cheap (i.e you can sell it for a profit)
you're surely not keeping it long enough for reliability and crash safety to be an issue
and 4 ncap stars mean different things in different years.

Hey guys, Im looking into buying a hatchback car. I've been looking for about a month now at different models and brands, and I have driven a few.
Usually they are too expensive which is why I haven't purchased one yet.

Cars Ive driven so far:
Hyundai Veloster (all years)
Scion iM (2016)
Chevy Cruze (2017 they just came out with a hatchback)
Honda Civic (2017 they just came out with a hatchback)
Hyundai Elantra

Cars Ive seen online that look nice:
Volkswagon GTI
Ford Focus GT
Subaru Impreza

So, what do you guys think I should buy? What would you buy and why?

>>
>>16688162
I'd go after the Cruze or iM is going 6 speed manual.
If automatic, avoid the Scion, and the Civic.

And just avoid the Hyundais in general.
>>
This past Wednesday I picked up a 2016 Kia Forte 5 SX which uses the same 1.6 turbo found in the Veloster Turbo. It was a 2016 leftover so I managed to get it for about 3500 under dealer invoice, 7000 below sticker OTD. It's not the quickest hatch by any means (feels more like a warm hatch than a hot hatch) but it has tons of interior space for a tall guy like myself, lots of cool and useful tech, and the best powertrain warranty in the business.
>>
>>16688202
That actually looks like a neat car. I haven't looked into Kias yet.
I am also tall at 6'2" so the room helps.
And I also don't care too much about going fast.

Hey guys

So, I've got this Facebook page in which I show the best cars from my city.. I just use it as a Hobby.. and to post a few cool pics..

Recently, I was thinking to myself and I think it would be cool to make my page a bit more popular. As it only has about 1000 likes.

Having this in mind, what cool things could I add up to my page besides just pictures? And what things could I do to probably get more likes?
Even if you guys don't know how I could get likes, what cool things could I put on the page to improve it?
Tell me your opinion, thanks

I've been looking into buying a late 3rd/early 4th gen firebird, is this generally thought of as a good car to learn as my first rwd/MT? Any problems I should know about it beforehand?
9 posts and 1 images submitted.

It would be a good first car. Downside is only the 305 was available with manual. There is no point in modding that engine. A 350 swap will be worth it if you continue to love the car.

Fox body mustang technically has a better chassis but turd gens are cool too.
