The brand has already been devalued between the shitty prequels and all the fan fiction tier 'Extended universe' books and games that have came out since the original trilogy, which aside from it, and a few stand outs in the EU games and books, most of it's been trash.

There hasn't been an abundance of value in the IP aside from milling it out to fans who will buy into it no matter what for a decade or two. If anything Disney is the perfect fit for what remains of it.

The series is already dead to me.

== ACE PILOT GROUP BUILD ==

Starting September 1st, you have two months to build, customize, and paint a mobile suit of your choice into your own personal design. This can range from just a repainted Zaku to a kitbashed Gundam loaded with any spare rifles and Rocket Launchers you can find. Any suit from any series is fair game, just stick to 1/144 kits and you're good. When you're done feel free to post it in the thread, but also send pics to [email protected] so that all the entries can be judged/posted at once when the group build is over (If you don't want to be judged for the contest just feel free to mention it when you send in your pics).

Prizes include:
>1st Place: Any HG kit under $25 + an Action Base 2
>2nd Place: Any HG kit under $15

Getter Robo Arc, he looks like Devilman.

Armageddon was the best anime by far, and I liked the first Getter manga most overall

New. The action is spectacular, the pacing is blazing fast, and the music is excellent. The last episode is one of my all-time favorite /m/ episodes.

Go. Obvious answer I know, but it's awesome. The appearance of Shin Getter and all the crazy crap in the last chapter was great. Shin is a close second, just for the first appearance of Getter Emperor.

Again, Go. Namely the manga version with the sword and the giant revolver.

I haven't read Devolution yet, and I'm not too interested in it. From what I hear, there isn't much robot action yet.

Eureka Seven is great, it really nails the feel of an adventure story.

I especially love watching anything with Yoshida's character designs, they have an element of a western cartoony feeling,
and his designs are perfect at capturing the personalities of the characters.

Everything looks really fluid too, and the weird choice to make surfing mecha really helps this because of how the battles flow so organically.

The setting was well done too, it felt really unique even though on paper it could've become very generic, but that's due to art direction, the OST, and some other factors that contributed to its overall quality.

It's actually an upgraded PSP game.

And it's as good or better than the rest of the Darius series.

You should get it on sale at least to support more of these games.
