Every transwoman I've met or that my friends have been involved with (live and work in SF Bay where you see them a lot) has been really rude, bitchy, triggered at almost everything, talking over other people and just absorbed narcissists. Just mean, nasty pieces of work.
I work at a bar. It seems like the only people we ever have to kick out are drunk straight dudes and transwomen. Always starting shit about politics, cisgender this and that, oppression, white patriarchy, etc.
Also, it's pretty disgusting how trans woman are generally misogynists themselves. The whole "TERF" thing is just a way to invalidate and silence women who have experienced real abuse by men. Transwomen just think they are better than cis women and it's really gross.

IRL I almost never see or hear any transphobia. However whenever I read the comment section of a video or article about anything transgender the comments are always almost universally transphobic. Is this because a) on the internet is populated by a minority of vocal bigots with nowhere else to shout their opinions or b) a leftist minority in power are pushing a trans-friendly agenda that the majority of the public silently doesn't agree with?

I don't have any problem with people who like to pretend their the opposite gender. If you like to dress like a man, talk like a man, and so manly things, I don't see any problem with that. You be you.
What I do have a problem with is when you expect me to go along with your fantasy. I'm not changing my pronouns and I don't want you in my bathroom unless you belong there. It's a public space, not your home. I also sure as hell don't want my tax dollars paying for your dick to get carved up into a vagina.
Again, I think it's totally fine for someone to have one of these weird ass surgeries, but it shouldn't be paid for by taxes.
There are people in this world who swear that they are a cat stuck in a human's body. Should we pay for them to have facial reconstructive surgery to look more cat like?

I think he was looking for an easy, popular decision he could make, and this wasn't it.
I could imagine him backpedaling and doing a photo op with transgender veterans if he thinks it'll get him some easy positive press.
Maybe even double back again and actually make the order official after that.
But at least no one below him in the chain of command wants to own this.

I knew I liked boys a LOT as far back as I can remember but I grew up isolated from any kind of sex ed, so my first revelation was watching Oprah around 10yrs old and finding out what "gay" actually meant. Then I spent a while being very confused and upset that I had to choose, until my second revelation while watching Oprah around 12yrs old and finding out what "bi" meant.
When I got older I figured out that you don't have to let labels define you, and you can just live your life. I'm technically bi but since I've never felt women were worth the effort (I'm very lazy), I'm functionally a total faggot.
