Also, while I'm not defending the "unidentified sex" baby thing (this is only okay, imo, if the baby is legitimately intersex), your sex marker on your birth certificate is still relevant to what GENDER you live as. If it does not match your presentation/name (and then doesn't match on your ID), you can run into all kinds of problems.

I have a gay friend, I told him that I feel definite attraction towards some guys. He goes "SOME guys or ALL guys?" I tell him some. He goes "nah you're straight, everyone has their exceptions"
WTF? It's not like I find ALL women attractive either. If I am indeed bisexual, my preference will be women, but I definitely have liked guys before. It feels like my friend is gatekeeping the LGBT/gayness label. Why can't he just let me be bi? Are all gay men like this?

It kind of depends on what you mean by 'some' guys. If you find one guy in a million attractive, then yes, you are technicallt bi, but straight for all intends and purposes.
However, most likely, your friend is mad because you don't find HIM attractive, or because you'd pick a woman over him even if you did.

In every case that's bothered me, there's no reason for him to even gender me in the first place. And he does this and makes it really awkward.
He also asked if I had another "male" name to use rather than my birth name, but since I told him, he's still only addressed me as my birth name.
It's not like I look that female. I am still on a waiting list to get hormones but I don't look like an aidan, I'm 5'7 (he's only an inch or two taller) and people regularly call me sir/bud/guy or say they don't know if I'm a boy or a girl.

You can feel the contents of the syringe going, and that part does kind of hurt, like it feels like a fair amount of pressure inside your body, but it lasts for a few seconds, hey presto, all done.
The anticipation is always the worst part.

Why are transgenders grouped with gays lesbians and bisexuals? The LGB community is about sexual orientation whereas transgenderism is changing who you are biologically. It's still considered a mental illness by the American Psychiatric Association partly due to it's large suicide rate. I mean, you can be fully institutionalized for being diagnosed with gender dysphoria. As a comparison 15% of depressed people commit suicide vs 40% and up of trangenders who commit suicide. I'm not trying to be ignorant I'm just genuinely curious.
