>tfw never could win on iron man impossible
I could switch from classic to impossible after like the second month, but never impossible from the start
>tfw waiting for the long war

What about squads?
Katv.com/news/local/human-leg-found-in-arkansas-river-in-little-rock
So what can I do to avoid getting killed out in the woods of Arkansas if I were to hypothetically speaking go camping?
Also hypothetically speaking what gun would I need to have in order to at least have any sort of survivability in the Arkansas woods?
>>28099110
anything caliber you fell comfortable with and can protect you from the local predators at the same time.
357? 45? 12g?
This is actually funny hahaha

Has Bill Clinton finally crossed the line from serial sexual abuser to serial killer!?
is company of heros the best rts game out there what does /k/ play

also what other rts /militry games do /k/'s play
>>28098958
also what games did you play on your deployment
>>28098958
World in conflict was great.
Men of war is amazing.
Blitzkrieg is nice but the AI is crap.
>>28098958
Company of homos is shit compared to Men of war: Assault Squad
>NR-1's size limited its crew comforts. The crew of about 10 men could stay at sea for as long as a month, but had no kitchen, bathroom, or bathing facilities.
>They ate frozen TV dinners, bathed once a week with a sponge of water, and burned chlorate candles to produce oxygen. The sub was so slow that it was towed to sea by a surface vessel, and so tiny that the crew felt the push and pull of the ocean's currents. >"Everybody on NR-1 got sick," said Allison J. Holifield, who commanded the sub in the mid-1970s. "It was only a matter of whether you were throwing up or not throwing up."
why would anyone voluntarily go into submarines
NR-1 is research submarine. An Ohio-class or any other modern sub is going to have actual facilities. Still shitty compared to a surface ship though
The NR-1 is literally the only submarine like that
>>28098977
>Still shitty compared to a surface ship though
do navy surface ships have swimming pools for the crew? I think not
You'd think that with almost 500 years of experience, Beretta would consistently put out good, new stuff. They don't.
>>28098939
beretta loves to pump out big hunks of plastic shit, if it wasnt for them owning tikka they wouldnt have a single firearm design worth a damn.
>>28099124
Confirmed retard
>>28098939
What the fuck is intside of it that makes it so big and bulky?
Or is it just stupidly thick plastic?
So we've all seen MACs torture test of the VP9 by now, which has got me wondering about HK as a whole. Firstly, I'm considering an HK P30sk or P2000sk as a carry gun, and the first thing I notice about these two pistols is that they can be easily had for under $700, similarly to the VP9. Is this lower price an indication of cuts in quality? Take the P30sk for example, in pictures the slide looks like it isn't finished to the same extent as a USP or even the P2000. So is HK quality dropping across the board, or is it still pretty good?
Bumping with example of P30sk slide.
I carry a p2000 with an lem trigger and havent had any issues since i got it in 2008. The only problem ive had is that sometimes the slide wont lock back on the last shot because i inadvertently rest my thumb on the slide release.
They're all just Glock rip offs, but worse
H&K exists for people who want a Glock, but want to feel like a special snowflake
>be me
>want to take Mauser and go innawoodz
>weather is nice
>and am only working 5 days a week now
>oh wait
>I live in Texas and have no public land o hike and shoot on
>fuck me
>don't want to go to state park full of hippies
>want to forge new trail
>not walk the same ones used by everyone
>icrie
>>28098644
Yeah man, it really fucking sucks. I went out to hike with my friend in the country and not fucking 30 minutes into our ~12 mile escapade, here comes some old fucker with his dog, huffin and puffin to tell us to "yer dang kids betur git off my land I oughta shootcha wit mah shotgun I wulda." All we wanted to do is walk in the country but goddamnit if there arent fences every half mile. Texas as well btw.
>>28099354
Almost as if the concept of owning land that you don't actually live on or have any use for is fucking stupid, right?
>>28098644
>>28099354
This is why I'm saving up to buy my own land. I could move out of the state, but it just wouldn't be the same.
Its a stealth Ace Combat thread but no one will notice

Please let this be true.
VEPR thread.
Any of you guys have expirience shooting these?
Im under no illusion that it is going to be as cool as an SVD, or that its a dragunov (more like accuratized AK) but the idea of a decently accurate semi auto rifle in affordable 7.62x54r interests me. I cant find a lot about them in reviews. What do you guys think?
>>28098573
I can only speak for my since sold .308 model. It was a fine rifle, just not what I was looking for from a semi 308. With 54r you have limited options and the vepr is the newest design you can buy.
>>28098573
I love mine. Roars like a lion and shoots quite accurately even with a carbine barrel.
Heavy in hand, but solid as a rock.
>>28098731
What kind of accuracy are we talkin?
I like shooting 500 yard plus ranges.
Is it like "accurate for an ak" accurate or actually a decent long range weapon?
Cuz every review I read spends 3 paragraphs gushing about reliability and reciever quality then has like, 2 or 3 sentences about "oh yeah, and it was accurate at 100 meters."
I want it for long range plinking in a cheap caliber.
So I got into an argument with my sister about the US military lowering their standards to let women in, she denies it but I know I've read this somewhere before..
For example I heard that they only require 4 pull ups now down from something like 50 (and women still can't even do the 4),
Do you bros have any sources I can reference to her?
>>28098562
>50 Pull ups
Nah there wouldn't be very many servicemen if that was ever the case.
Male and female fitness standards are different
>>28098590
What are the standards?
>>28098600
Public record, easily searchable online.
so i've been wondering how it will go down when the government does come for our guns. let me know what you will do and give me your opinion on the video link.

oops forgot the link

You are more likely to hear about boating accidents than actual fighting when the time actually comes.
>>28098684
interesting point, i've heard this alot.
What are some good, aesthetically pleasing pistols? I wanted the P2000, but I read a review that said it was garbage, and it's like 1000 bucks.
>>28098419
What review?
A CZ P-07 fits your criteria.
>>28098419
P2000 is awesome, and they are easily found for like $650.
what does /k/ think of this?
http://www.stlmag.com/news/politics/missouri-firearms-bill-guns-abortion-newman/
pic related, its a gun
>>28098354
I think it would be hilarious if it passed, although it's unlikely that it will.
>>28098354
Has no chance of passing, never was intended to even have a chance of passing. Really just intended to point out how draconian Missouri's abortion laws are.
No threat detected, moving on.
what if they make it so you have to perform medical abortions with guns
Does anyone have this photo except with "guns" or "firearms" in the bottom right?
>>28098326
That makes no sense.
>>28098326
>Same shirt
Shopped
>>28098326
>Not posting this in the QTDDTOT thread
You are unworthy.
Sup /k/
Just wondering if there is any sort of place in CC for practicing a subtle draw? I am all about practicing my speed, but it is pretty obvious what is about to happen, between pulling up my shirt and adjusting body position to go for my gun.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oEFPcljAXgs
Tom Cruise's famous scene in Collateral comes to mind. Yes, obviously it's a movie, doesn't detract from his excellent draw stroke that is also very nondescript until the last moment.
Perhaps this is a stupid thread and question seeing as a few minutes of Google didn't really bring up much.
TLDR any tips on not telegraphing you're about to draw a gun when you're about to draw a gun would be appreciated
>>28098270
hide the gun under your hat
>>28098270
You don't want subtle so much as you do going from calm to violent as quickly as possible.
Legally speaking if you're drawing your gun than the time to use it has already started happening and subtlety will not serve you as well as decisiveness and violence of action.
One bump before it dies
