Is the Beretta 90-Two a good handgun? I found a guy near me who's selling one.
>>28090903
It's not bad by any means, but it isn't some special snowflake gun like the name/design would imply.
>>28091495
It's essentially just a beretta 92 with different styling, right?
>>28091584
Pretty much.
all the upgrades the 90-Two got were later seen on the 92A1 and 96A1. The only practical difference is the larger surface area for gripping the slide and the slip-on grip. The grip a lot of people hate because it can only be swapped from the regular grip to a proprietary Beretta-brand Beretta grip which is slightly slimmer making it feel more like a Vertec style grip. You can't swap it with the grips that 92s traditionally come with.

Nice try, my left hand is on my cat and my feet are propped up.
Why haven't you purchased a Cold Steelâ„¢ Tactical Boomerang, yet?
https://youtu.be/b0fbEYhsGiY
It looks like a pretty useful SHTF weapon as it doesn't need any ammo and flies back to you if you miss. It also appears to be a pretty good breach weapon as well. I wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing quality weapons like these issued to special ops squads for when things really get hot in the field.
Your thoughts, /k/?

So all I need to protect myself is a wooden door? Good to know.
I don't want a sharpened metal projectile weapon flying back at me

I imagine one of those Israeli army bandages and some Quik Clot. But I have no more than a smattering of Internet learning on the subject.

Could you use a fleshlight as a suppressor? How long would it last? From shooting many loads through both of them, the insides look almost identical.

Honestly, this is probably the most interesting thread ive seen all day.

Yay or nay?
Can you inspect it? And if so is it not monkey fucked?
If yes to both then I'd say okay.

monkey fucked?

Imagine something that has been fucked by a monkey. It would not be in good shape, right? Thus, monkey fucked is used to mean something in a profoundly unsound shape.
What level of regulation over firearms would /k/ support? There are clearly a number of factors that play into gun deaths. Many crime guns are stolen, and many people that commit suicide with a firearm buy shortly before killing themselves, while displaying signs of intent. Many if not most murders are gang related, and perpetrated by a small number of individuals.
With these things in mind, I present
>ANON'S GUN-FRIENDLY SOLUTION TO THE FIREARM PROBLEM<
> 1. Provide funding for implementation of so called "ceasefire" programs nationwide, which identify individuals at-risk for being perpetrators and victims of crime and reach out to them using an alliance between police agencies and community leaders. These were responsible for the "Boston Miracle" - a 63% reduction in youth gun violence in Boston.
> 2. Provide government subsidies for safes that require both a key and biometric lock. This prevents criminals from getting their hands on guns and reduces the possibility that a firearm will be used in violence against a family member.
> 3. Require FFLs and gun ranges to include information about suicide prevention and awareness with firearm sales and renting, provide guidelines for identifying individuals that exhibit signs that they're at risk for suicide. Remind employees that they can legally decline to sell guns to these individuals
(cont)
>>28088339 (You) (OP)
> 4. Open the NICS to private citizens so that they an be sure the person they're selling to is not a felon or restricted from obtaining a firearm.
> 5. Enforce laws against straw-purchasing, prosecute individuals that attempt to do so, and follow up on all reports of this activity.
> 6. Ask states really nicely to offer courses on firearm safety, hunting, and self defense law year round, and provide subsidies to help implement these programs.
> 7. Remove suppressors from the NFA registry, revoke the Hughes amendment.
There you go. Implementation of these laws and programs should reduce crime and increase gun liberties. Thoughts?

How useful is a steel helmet in a SHTF situation? Found pic related online for $20, is it a good buy?
>>28088269
A little extra protection with little to no downsides, especially if you're not moving around much.
good against shrapnel and debris from explosions, good against falling objects, might deflect a small bullet, might remove enough power from a larger bullet to at least save your life
It won't harm you. Make sure you have the padding and straps that go inside
The latest firearm invention patented by the media is that a bullet button converts a rifle from semi-auto to full auto.

Hello /k.
I was thinking about getting into some archery sports.
What should I know before buying my 1st bow ?
Also, some training tips will be welcome.
>>28086226
you'll shoot your eye out
Go to an archery store (not a cabelas, scheels, etc.) And have them walk you thru the whole process
>>28086226
Buy a recurve or longbow, none of that new wave hick shit
Lets say i go from a nogunz country to the states and i decide florida.
How good are Florida's gun laws compared to elsewhere in USA?
>>28086124
I'd settle for the state above but w/e.
>>28086124
'breddy good, no incendiary ammo and a few counties have some minor issues with private party transactions but it's mostly stuff you won't run into. they want fingerprints for a concealed carry permit, i'm a little salty about that. high crime too so you may even need to use your gun.
One of the more friendly gun states mate.
