>We Indians know how to make proper machines of war.
Truly the masters of biological warfare.
Hey /k/, a gun store by me has $10 metal 30 round tapco SKS mags. I know it's kind of frowned upon, but in my mind they can't be this popular if they're THAT bad. I can't afford an AK, so $10 to get almost an AK is okay by me. I'm not going to replace the original stock or paint it or shit like that so don't worry, I'm not going to bubba it. But getting more than 10 rounds is something I'm interested in.
What's with the taboo around using tapco mags in an SKS? I see a lot of people with them at the range and they don't have feeding issues or anything like that that I've noticed. Is there really any major drawbacks that I might encounter using them?
>>30661020
They work, but you can get the real deal surplus mags for the same price, so most people say "why bother".
>>30661020
plastic duckbill SKS mags (cuckbills) are known to suck extremely
let me youtube it and see more

Op you're a fag
Nyet nyet nyet rifle is fine
Its that cheap because its shit and no one wants them they are trying to entice retards with cheap garbage
Okay so in a previous thread I got called retarded for suggesting 50bmg in an AR (fair). Anyone have a more reasonable rifle round to load up? It should have the penetration necessary to crack a bisons skull in a single round, ideally.
Pic related, yes they have large heads.
>>30660873
308 should work. What ranges are you looking at?
>>30660873
.308 like anon above said, .30-06, .243rem.
>>30660886
Far enough that I don't get gored by the 2 ton piece of meat running at 40mph. I wanted to chamber an AR in 308 originally, but it's my first AR-15 and my buddy who owns 4 suggested I stay milspec, and that 308 did not have proper milspec options.
Greetings /k/. Between an AR-15, a scoped hunting rifle, and a 12 gauge shotgun, which is the most important long gun to have for a SHTF scenario? Also recommendations needed, I have a $1,000 budget for weapon stuff.
>>30660539
scoped ar-15
>>30660539
Scoped AR
You don't need a hunting rifle to kill most game in North America
White tail and brown bear are still dead with .233
7.62x39 AK
How would /k/ take down the Eiffel Tower?
I need to know for a friend.
>>30660335
4 big rig truck bombs
renting the truck shouldn't be a problem because that one guy got one easily enough. getting explosive material that can fill up the back of four might be an issue but if you're some jihadist motherfucker i bet you could figure it out.
>>30660373
Would it still stand if one of the legs was taken out?
>>30660373
fertilizer but youll get put on a watchlist for buying large amounts because mcveigh
Give me your best fuddlore. I'll start.
>a .45 will flip a man
>dry firing centerfire guns is bad for them
>modern guns will fire from being dropped.
>slam-fires are caused by inadequate trigger weight
>using a modified trigger in a self-defense gun is a one-way ticket to prison
>heavy/long barrels are significantly more accurate
>[insert gun here] is better for women
>cleaning a rifle barrel will damage it
>>30660108
>barrel break-in
>corrosive ammo and windex
>storing loaded mags wears the spring.
>>30660108
A lot of modern guns will fire from being dropped. Like anything made by Taurus.
Also barrel weight helps with recoil which may improve accuracy of the shooter.
>>30660286
Maybe I should have put an asterisk for defective guns.
Why don't tanto shaped bullets exist?
>>30659891
Good question.
The trajectory would be all screwed up, what you really want is a tanto knife with a black tip for extra armor pen.
>>30659891
Americanized tantos aren't actually that good at piercing, they're just really sturdy.
ITT k recommends subcompact CC handguns to me

Whatever you shoot the goodest. If you have a pistol already use that
>>30659755
I'm the same height and weight and my Ruger LC9s is pretty easy to hide on me in the summer.
Make a pistol into a rifle.
So I've decided I want a "Krinkov" style AK. I don't want to jump through the ATFs hoops to make a SBR.
My plan is to buy a Zastava M92 pistol, pin on a 6" barrel extension, then put a stock on. This would bring the gun to rifle length and since I'm manufacturing a rifle and not a NFA item I'm in the clear right?
Pic related
>>30659590
Under ATF law, you are doing that to a pistol, it's still a pistol but you are adding a stock which is illegal.
>>30660425
you are thinking the other way around, you can go pistol to rifle as long as it meets 16" barrel and 26" OAL but once its a rifle, it cannot be a pistol again.
How about the handguard, find a fucking handgard for that pistol that looks like a krink then get back with me senpai.
What's up /k/ I have a dilemma. I just got paid and I can finally afford my first gun. However. I still need to pay off my credit card, which I won't even be able to do anyways if I don't buy the gun. Should I just buy one and pay off my card later or should I clear myself of all debts before I buy?
>buy gun
>get dark clothes
>go out at night
>find rich people
>???
>profit
And the day you get shot by the cops your friends will riot cuz you're a fucking nigger and thats what you do....
>>30659537
>credit card debts
What are you, a woman?
pay debts
PAY DEBTS
Is a vz61 a good ccw?
>>30659483
two of them worked well enough in Goldeneye
>Its Klobberin time!
>>30659483
The semiauto ones have a reputation for being a little bit finnicky. Don't get me wrong, I think they're neat looking as shit, but there's a lot of downsides to a huge oddly shaped .32.
>>30659483
actually I carried mine once.
One stop shopping edition
>inb4 but wiper

I still enjoy craft beers, but I go back to macros because they are consistent.
Also, Springfield's XD series offer a whole lot of gun for the money.
>>30659481
.45 acp or 9mm?
>>30659607
.45. I plan on getting the 9mm next. The mechanical accuracy of this gun makes almost any one a great shot. I paid $548 OTD, although Springfield is no longer shipping with the gear.
Hello /k/
I'm considering buying my first gun ever
I saw this nice Ruger at a gun store
Any advice? I like tha it can use .38 and .357
I'll like to own a glock 19 gen 3 in the future
I know it only has 5 rounds but the reason
Why I'm getting it because it would be easier
For my wife.
I live in Las Vegas it can be dangerous here
Also got my daughter, so I think it would be
Nice to have as a concealed weapon.
Any constructive criticism?
>>30659425
>.357 Magnum in a snub
You might as well just shoot .38 +P
>>30659425
Fellow vegasfag here
Youre gonna get your wife killed, get her a 9mm.
The F22 was cancelled due to excessive cost and poor quality used only once and within 2 weeks the US announced the F22 Craptor was to be replaced. The F22 now 19 year old and still not in production as its riddled with major design problems. As usual Russian tech beats the west and at lower cost. You can probably get 2 PAK FA for the cost of one non working F22

it seems i made an american cry, how unsurprising
The condom brand OP's father used was discontinued within 2 week of the news that his mother became pregnant.
I'm a cop. I'm looking for a weak-side cargo pocket carry alternative in case shithead decides to try and pry my duty weapon from its holster. My partner carries a S&W 642 w/ CT grips. It's nice and light. I could barely feel it when I tried on the cargo pocket holster myself. I've noticed that there are many options when it comes to .38 Smiths. Here are the four models I've narrowed my search down to.
I will most likely swap the grips on whichever model I end up getting to CT laser grips. I'll likely replace the front sight with a tritium sight. My primary focus is low weight. Even if I get a .357/.38, I'll likely load it with .38. I'm interested in what /k/ thinks.
Model 340PD
>.357 or .38+P
>6.31"
>11.4oz
>Scandium Alloy Frame / Titanium Alloy Cylinder
M&P340
>.357 or .38+P
>6.31"
>13.3oz
>Scandium Alloy Frame / Stainless Steel Cylinder
S&W 642
>.38+P
>6.31"
>15oz
>Aluminum Alloy Frame / Stainless Cylinder
S&W 442
>.38+P
>6.31"
>15oz
>Aluminum Alloy Frame / Carbon Steel Cylinder
Better front sight is good, not sure about the laser grips. if it's a backup you're going to be shooting at contact distance and not aiming with the sights, make it as snag free as possible.
Go for the steel cylinders, more weight means less recoil.
I saw another thread for a Ruger LCR. They look cheap. I want lifesaving. I don't care about the price, it must go bang when I pull the trigger.
>>30659043
Why not also consider the 638?
